When we showed up to the campsite, no one was there. We tried to contact the owner by phone, email, and text message with no response. Since we agreed upon the date, we set up our tent, called an Uber (the only reason we picked this place was for the shuttle service) and headed to the show. 4 hours passed still with a response. Had to walk back from the venue (Their site says its only 2 miles away but its actually double that) and when we arrived back to the campsite, we were welcomed by a guy shouting (I'm assuming it was the owner) that he was going to shoot us and the campsite was closed. Between all the emails, text messages. and phone call attempts, we were never told that the campsite was closed. The other group of people we ran into were also never told the campsite was closed. Stay away!

We were there for a Journey/Steve Miller concert at the white river amphitheatre, and were waiting for the shuttle graciously provided by the owners for a small fee, when my wife had to go back to the site for something she forgot. We came back to find out we just missed the shuttle. Ric, the owner, happened to be walking by and he offered to run us down in his car. I thought this was a great service to offer after the hard work he had done that day, getting everyone registered and settled in as they were all there for the show too. This place is brand new and Ric and Rebecca will be improving it more and more each year but for a new business they have won our hearts and we will be back for future concerts. I would love to keep this a hidden secret but I promised Ric to share with the world on YELP for everyone to enjoy. We will return!!!!

We arrived at 1:00 PM and found the last parking space available at the end of the furthest parking lot area. Took our time taking a stroll to the event, where the food vendors were on the grassy area. Saw some Laotian food - Hmong Sausage with Sticky Rice, Chicken Wings, Whole Chicken, Papaya Salad, Fried Banana, also saw that they had Thai Iced Tea, Thai Iced Coffee, Lemonade flavors, Sandwiches, and Grilled Pork. We walked to the other side where they had a stage where they were having some dancing, live music and speeches. In addition, there were accessories, and clothing/apparel vendors who were lined up on the other side. First part of the Review is for the Cambodian event, which was a 4 out of 5. ------ The Park itself was easy to navigate around. Parking seemed self-explanatory, even though it was fully packed. There were clear signs of what was required of the State Park. You had to enter with a Discovery Pass or a National Park Pass at the Gate/Entrance. Walked around the beach area until the end of the trail where they had Private Property. Took some pictures and scenic videos of the water and scintillating viewpoints. It was a pretty short stroll after eating our lunch. But overall an enjoyable experience. Would like to visit again even without an event going on... Review of the Park - 4 out of 5.

Which was perfect for exploring the beach. Fun to see all the shells and things that are normally under water. Please tu of picnic areas for larger groups too. The creek trail was closed from one side but when exploring discovered a fallen tree. Easily able to navigate over the log. See my photo. I'm sure at high tide the beach area decreases but it's all beautiful. The creek trail is short. Under two miles. Discovery pass required. Get out there! Enjoy your life! SYOY!

As we got closer the map had all water, hehe. What a nice spontaneous surprise, we decided to do take the Fauntleroy Ferry to Vashon Island. ( will do a review the Ferry after). Who doesn't love the Ferry?! After we got to Vashon Island, it was about a 20 min scenic drive to Point Robinson Park, So happy we are here! Keep in mind the park gates closes at dawn, I was worried about being stuck there and we arrive close to dawn. Plenty parking, very nice park with lighthouse, beach, trails and picnic area. First things first, lets look for the troll, which his name is Oscar the bird king, made by Thomas Dambo. Thomas Dambo is an artist based in Denmark, Thomas makes sculptures out of recycled materials. This sculpture is part of series of six site specific installations called Northwest trolls. I need to find the other 4 during my future visits to PNW. Wow, super cool to see and visit Oscar the troll in real life, a little scary but so interesting. Thomas is super creative and got skills. Oscar is huge in real life, hehe. We took our photos, observed the artistic skills, greeted him with Shaka, then after that we went to explore the rest of Robinson Park. Trail, beach and we finally got to the lighthouse, another reason to visit. There's a lighthouse tour during mid May-September, which I would love to learn more about. All in all, What a great day to make it a great day here, trolling Point Robinson Park, LOVED every moment!

Future individuals considering K/M Resorts of America, please take heed…read more Our contract with K/M has been in effect for about 15 years. During that 15 years K/M has honored the contract (an expensive contract providing our parents with dues frozen at the contract specified $00.00 and transferable to immediate offspring at the same dues provision) Recently, K/M staff and owner have decided to reinterpret our contract to justify a Dues charge of over $300.00 per year. When asked for justification, the owner (Kevin) just identified a minor technicality in a clause of the contract (an interpretation that we do not agree with) and said that their expenses had been going up, and since we had been using it (less than once per year on average) we should be willing to pay dues. No explanation for why K/M did honor the contracted frozen $00.00 dues for 15 years. Do not expect K/M to honor their contracts!!!!!! They will use any excuse (even poor ones) to violate their contract.. Find another camp club to invest in.

Also, you can rent a campsite or other parts of this camp whether your boy is a scout or not. There's a firebowl with concrete benches that face the water with a really lovely view. It's a good spot for meetings and performances and has a firepit. They have 13 campsites for rent with picnic tables and firepits, along with a lodge that has a full kitchen, fireplace, covered porch and restrooms. You can also rent canoes. There are BB gun ranges, archery ranges, an obstacle course, and activity fields. They have a rock climbing wall too. Set on about 20 acres, this camp is large enough for kids to get lost in so be sure to pack appropriately for the woods. I've been here a few times for Boy Scout events. The camp is well maintained. The firebowl is a great meeting place and the view over the water is nice, but it does get cold, even in the summertime. My son told me there are a lot of trails. There is a gravel parking lot with a narrow lane leading into/out of it. You can rent the whole freaking camp for $1,000 if you aren't a Boy Scout. If you are a Scout and in-council, it's $250, and if you're a Scout and out-of-council, it's $500. That's a pretty awesome deal.
