There were a lot of people just sitting around and talking (i.e. not there to play just to "hang") and it made it hard to walk around the store. It would be nice if there was a separate room for them to play or "hang" in the store. Not a lot of parking on a Saturday night either because of they share their lot with a very busy Olive Garden.

Every time I visit, someone is always available to help and offer advice with a smile. Their happiness is genuinely infectious. I recently got into D&D and was trying to find a place to play. I saw the store hosted weekly games and reached out to Bella for more information. She got back to me right away, helped me pick out a DM, and even quickly fixed a mistake I made when I accidentally paid twice during registration. We emailed back and forth several times, and her responses were always lightning-fast and incredibly helpful. When I arrived at the event, I met my DM, Matt. He was wonderful, funny, and creative, making me feel right at home instantly. I felt like I had been playing with the group for years. When it turned out I had made an error building my character, he was completely understanding and patient, never making me feel bad for being new to the game. I had so much fun and learned a ton. I have always loved this store, but I am now officially a customer for life. If I were independently wealthy, I would invest all my money with the owners. They truly know what they are doing!

My husband and I took our niece here, and I think she had more fun just looking around than actually picking out things to buy. There are huge sections of Legos, models, craft kits, games, toys, beads, painting supplies, and even stuff for babies. My niece got a coloring book, pastel colored pencils, a game with sparkly fish, and a little plastic helicopter. My husband even got some super glue that he needed for work. Nothing was terribly priced, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I have been trying to fit more crafts into my life as a relaxing hobby, and I think I'll have to visit Dan's again to pick up a craft kit. It's a fun place to just browse too.

After being directed to him as someone who might be open to the opportunity, Curtis took one look at the item, scowled, and said, "That's not anything I want to touch. You can fix it yourself." It was truly a memorable experience. Without Curtis, I may have gone on with my day feeling perfectly fine. Instead, I was given the opportunity to feel embarrassed for making an innocent request at a store that had once been a cherished part of my childhood memories. Thank you again, Curtis!

Whenever I'm in Rochester, I make sure to stop here to get my fix. It is HUGE. You could easily spend a long chunk of time here perusing through their collection of records. But that's not all they have. They've got CDs, movies, books, vintage clothing, posters, and lots of great "gift" type items. They even have a little bar area that serves as a venue for musicians to play. The inside is quirky and everything I love to see in a record store. I really resonate with the posters they have hanging and all the random decor they have throughout the shop. The staff is super friendly and eager to help if you're looking for something specific, which is a plus since there's so much terrain to cover. Record Archive is definitely what I'd consider a top tier record shop.
