They have always spoken about how nice everyone is and they even deliver. Well,! I got to experience them first hand last week when I was vacationing in the twin cities. I had underestimated how much Xibram (an anti inflammatory eye drop) I had left. I thought that I found out the hard way that I did not. I called the Medicine Shop, who promptly sprung into action, calling our pharmacy in San Francisco (going back and forth with Long's Drugs to get my prescription transferred and the insurance squared away so that I only had to pay $10.00 instead of the $160.00.) Dan Coski, the owner and pharmacist, was very zealous in squaring everything away. Before I knew it, my drops were ready and I was on my way, one happy, satisfied customer. Everyone is very kind and caring, definitely people persons. They are mainly a pharmacy, as they have a couple shelves of toiletries, compression socks, and other pharmaceutical necessities. They take the time to answer any questions that you may have. So, for friendly, caring, efficient, and knowledgeable service, The Medicine Shop cannot be beat. Keep up the good work Dan and staff.!

Tips: - Sign up for Walgreens rewards…read more - Beware of expired products at this store. After I had arrived in the Twin Cities, and had fetch my luggage and rental vehicle, I needed to get some drinks. I did a search and found this Walgreens by the hotel that I'd be staying at. It didn't take long to get here from MSP airport. There were lots of parking spots. I backed into an available spot and walked in. The beauty section greeted me when I walked in. I liked seeing nail care. I ended up getting a two-pack of nail clippers by Olive & June. I like the nail accessories that this company makes. I got a couple of 2 L bottles of pop. I also got two packages of Pepperidge Farm cookies. M&M's has a bakery collection out. This store didn't have it. However, it had caramel M&M's pop'd. It has a cookie component that's freeze-dried. I lined up at the checkout. I got a woman at the checkout who noticed that one of my Pepperidge Farms cookies had expired. It was a bummer, as it was the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. I went to swap it out for dark chocolate Milano cookies. I then let the woman know that there was another package of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies that had expired. I realize that there are a ton of products in this drugstore. I felt that the tone of her voice made me feel like it was my fault for picking up an expired box. She didn't say anything when I let her know about the second box. I then said that both need to be removed from the shelf. She finally acknowledged that they would be. It was weird. I appreciated that she noticed the expiration date, but it was the delivery that wasn't the best. I entered my phone number associated with my rewards at Walgreens. I got some savings applied. My receipt was sent to my inbox. She bagged my items. I thanked her and carried my goods to my rental vehicle. The toenail clippers work nicely. I like the silicone grips. The clippers are effective and safe. The caramel M&M's pop'd snacks are so good. They are a bit expensive getting a bag for $9. They are worth treating yourself to a bag. It's a decent drugstore. Just be careful about expiration dates on products. (120)

The male pharmacist that works at this place is the absolute nastiest, rudest person I've ever…read moretalked to. with all the horrible reviews that have been given about this exact same person I have no idea why this pharmacy lets him stay there. Is he related to the owner? Is he the actual owner? I cannot imagine any employer would keep a person like this on their staff with how horrible he is to people. Every time I've called there for my 90-year-old father, he is so extremely mean and disrespectful and horrible. He also treated my father horribly today, per usual. I mean, if you're just a horrible person and mean by nature, at your place of employment, you at least have to be neutral and/or civil, you can't just be downright nasty to actual customers. As a result, my father will be moving to a new pharmacy and I will continue to funnel people away from this place because of the horrible pharmacist they have there. This comment is directed, strictly towards the owner: The pharmacist that you have on staff is ruining your business. You are losing customers because of the way he treats people. Minnesota is supposed to be such a nice place, however, no one would ever think that if the only person they ever met from Minnesota was this pharmacist, they would think it's the worst place in the world. If you care about your business and you care about the treatment of your customers, I would suggest you truly reevaluate keeping this person on staff. In fact, for the record, the entire West seventh community talks badly about this pharmacist because anyone that's gone to the pharmacy has very unfortunately had to deal with him so it's common knowledge that he's just awful. I really hope you do something about this at some point. As the owner, I would suggest that you even call there posing as a customer to see how horrible you will be treated by this person. If ever you get rid of him, and that is made known, we will consider coming back, but until then, never.

I went to this pharmacy for about three months simply because it was the closest pharmacy to my house. I tolerated the issues I had with them for a while, but eventually my patience broke. The pharmacist, Jeff, is easily in of the top five most rude people I have ever encountered. His attitude makes it seem like me getting prescriptions filled at his pharmacy is a hassle for him. On top of that, whenever I ask a question about a medication (I don't have a pharmacy degree like him, obviously), he makes me feel incredibly stupid for not knowing the answer to the question I asked. The day I stopped going there, I went in to get a refill that they said was ready when I called. Whenever I got to the counter, they told me that the doctor needed to verify that I could receive it. I was in the process of asking whether I needed to call my doctor or if he did, and he cut me off and said (in a very irritated and stuck-up tone of voice), "Obviously I'M not going to call 'YOUR doctor for you," and turned his back on me. There were so many other ways he could have said in that situation, but that is how he chose to handle my question. Long story short, if you are looking for a pharmacy and considering this one, I wouldn't recommend going there unless you like being blatantly disrespected every time you go get your medications.

They close in the middle of the afternoon (at 5PM) which means you're not getting your medicine unless you ruin your whole daily schedule. The pharmacy workers are awful and whoever owns this location is an avoidant coward. I tried to send a prescription there and Walgreens had me on hold for over an hour. I showed up, and they couldn't fill it "today" because THEY CLOSE BEFORE YOUR GRANDPA TAKES HIS AFTERNOON NAP. I let them push me off a day, deciding I'd ruin my Saturday to go back there. BAD IDEA. They were closed when I went back. Impromptu closing out of nowhere? That's the norm In America's cities now. Dead eyed staff unwilling to work or answer the phone? Par for the course in this post Covid nightmare. I then suffered a medical emergency because Walgreens is a lackadaisical, worthless, cowardly, half ass, poorly run collection of SHACKS that make the average 4th grader's tree house look like a major shopping mall. An 8 year old with only lemonade stand experience could manage Walgreens better. At least they'd prosecute thieves. All Walgreens are terrible, but this one is horrific. NO MEDICINE FOR ME. Honestly it's beyond my comprehension how Walgreens hasn't had a class action lawsuit filed against them. The twin cities are a corrupt cesspool that shouldn't even exist, and this Walgreens is a blemish upon the already hideous face of this metropolitan hell. Walgreens must be dismantled and replaced.
