When I searhed on Google for a handyman Jose Galindo's name appeared first. I tried contacting the other two referrals and left them a message to please call me back to No Avail. I did receive a call back from Jose where I felt a sigh of relief that I received a return call. Once, speaking to Jose and explaining the scope of work involved I felt comfortable enough to have Jose come to my house and show him the dog house that I wanted to install air conditioning in for these upcoming Hot Bakersfield months to avoid my dog dying of a heat stroke or other heat related ailments. Jose, said he knew how to install the air conditioner and what electrical wiring was needed to have a functional and safe unit installed for my Dog. Living in an older home, we constantly need someone reliable to help us with the day to day home repairs. We found Jose on next-door app where neighbors recommended him for his professionalism and good quality work. I contacted Jose to do some electrical work such as replacing plugs, switches, smoke alarm and ceiling fan. Not only did Jose and Javier do a great job, they also did it in a timely manner. Mr. Galindo did a great job in replacing my old smoke detectors. He contacted me right away to schedule an appointment time and his service charge was really reasonable! He went above and beyond assisting me, as I bought the wrong replacement units. He offered to go to the store and purchase the correct units, which unexpectedly extended the time he'd have to work on the project. Mr. Galindo finished the project timely and did not leave a mess. Jose fixed our chandelier which we thought had a short in one of the wires. When I contacted him I received a response very quickly and he was able to schedule an appointment that same week. He was very polite and professional. He figured out the problem quickly but had to go find the right parts. Came back the next business day to fix and install the chandelier. We needed a professional to hang our 65 inch TV on the wall. My husband can't lift heavy anymore, so we need someone who can do things around the house. Jose was right on time for when we scheduled. He did an excellent job replacing a microwave for me. He was meticulous in his work using a level etc, making sure everything matched up. He noted my cabinet floor was week one side and I had some extra wood he could use to shore it up. He cleaned my shelves off and swept my floor off any debris.
