And another mini room dedicated to puzzles for all ages, jigsaw puzzles organized by age level and number of pieces, as well as mechanical puzzles and brain teasers. I was able to find a 100-piece glitter puzzle featuring unicorns and rainbows, perfect for my niece's bday. Staff was hard to find, roaming around the store blending in customers wandering the aisles. But once the employee saw me waiting at the front counter, he helped grab my selected puzzle off a top shelf and the purchase process was quick and easy. Free street parking was limited on a Friday afternoon, but not impossible to find. I secured a spot just a block away.

I finally started Guitar lessons back in January of this year with Chris Dunleavy, my teacher once every week for 30 minute sessions. WOW.......This has been the greatest thing in the world I did to get this new skill heading in the right direction. Learning to play the guitar doesn't happen over night, just like anything else we learn that is worthwhile. Chris helped me to make progress week by week, step by step, skill by skill. Regarding whether you should get a music teacher, my experience is that I progressed much faster, maybe twice as much, because a teacher pushes you to do the things you need to do, but hate doing, in order to improve, e.g., tempo, theory. Put another way, you spend much more time practicing and much less time noodling.

I got so lucky that they just happened to be in the area and came over within a few hours, picked up and stored the piano for 2 years because I didn't have the space for it at the time. After purchasing another home, I had the perfect place for it, they delivered my piano and it was in perfect condition! I highly recommend Sweet Sound, they did an amazing job for me. I have read some of the other reviews about them trying to sell services, etc. and honestly, I don't understand what's wrong with that. They are a business and if they have products and services that help preserve the fine instrument, why would they not offer those services? They offered additional services to me as well, I chose what I wanted and said no to what wasn't important to me at the time. I'm adding this in because I am going to choose to use them again soon and I am very happy with their service and my decision to continue to use Sweet Sound Piano!

My son started from their Pleasanton location learning piano about 7 years ago. The principal, Ms. Rimma is very professional managing the school. She evaluates every student and assigns a teacher according to their level and schedule. She gives good advice and recommendations. My son started with Ms. Tetyana who is very patient with little kids and she is old school type of teacher focusing on fundamentals which is very important building my son's basic techniques. After a year, my son was changed to Ms. Eleanor who is the best teacher ever!! She teaches with love and passion. She is very dedicated to teaching, hardworking, and has many successful students who won all kinds of rewards. After couple years, my son progressed very well under her coaching and started to win 1st and 2nd place in numerous competitions. Ms. Eleanor definitely knows how to teach and encourage kids at different ages. She is not only teaching piano but also helping children to nurture a good character.
