I live in Florida and needed a bridge replacement for a pair of Kawasaki glasses. East Millcreek…read moreEyewear is the very responsive store behind the kazuokawasaki.com domain. And the delightful Jodie did everything I could ask for to repair and rapidly return my glasses to me in what felt like no time. She even sped up her response to get the glasses fixed before a long 3-day weekend, which would have delayed getting to them even further. So, I'm very impressed with Jodie and her team. And she even went above and beyond to tighten up the hinges and replace my old temple tips with new ones, so the glasses came back looking like new, in a new case and cleaning cloth. In short, though I was 2,000 miles away, I felt like a first-class customer and highly recommend them.

I'm guessing well over ten (10) years, but she may know more accurately how long it's been. She is one of the very few folks that carry the line of product I really like. They are Kawasaki's with cable temples. At 65, I'm a super active guy, and the cable temples keep them from moving on/off my face when I am active. I am also EXTREMELY demanding and an ADHD perfectionist. Did not bother Jodie one bit; she was super confident in her ability to excel; especially with me being a remote customer out of the DFW area some 1,228 miles east of her office. I have travelled out to Utah on occasion, but never been able to stop by and meet her in person to thank her for her kindness & courtesy. By now, I've received about a dozen pairs of glasses from her with absolutely ZERO (0) issues. Does not seem like much, but the investment over the years has likely been north of $9K. Not cheap, but great value in my opinion. Quality is not a budget item. Plus, these always look like jewelry. They are just gorgeous. Can't thank Jodie enough. One day, I will stop by and surprise her... She is all about the efficient delivery of GREAT service to the customer. Feels more like a close friendship more so than a 'business transaction. Pro tip: If you stop by her East Millcreek location, head down to Provo and try out the Black Sheep Cafe. Stellar. If you are visiting from out of state, go visit the "Mighty Five". (I call it the Almighty Five, cause it's more like a religious experience in nature). Visiting Page AZ, the Slot Canyons and Horseshoe Bend, and Moab, lots of great parks out that way, both state & national. Will blow you away! If you like Bourbon, there is High West in Park City; they have a great restaurant. Enjoy! Thank you Jodie-

I picked up my new - and first ever - pair of glasses today from the crew at Classic Optical. I…read morereally appreciate their stance and approach on their profession here, and above all their professionalism. Having had good eyes for most of the 34 years of my life, all I had previously had to deal with at the opticians was to get my regular health check, have them say I was tip-top, and to see them again the next year. However In 2011 I had an instance of Iritis (something I don't recommend to anyone - ouch), and since then my left eye has had a slight stigmatism. Dr. Conklin has attended to my last three eye exams, is very pleasant in his demeanour, and will sit and chat with you about any issues, put your mind at ease if you're worried about failing an eye exam miserably, and will explain all the options or requirements that may help you enjoy your eyes a little more than what god has given you ;) Spending 10 hours + a day on a computer of some kind doesn't help my eyes at all, and this time around I took the opportunity to get some "computer glasses" that will fast become my firm campion as I ride out the days in front of my beloved electronic products. As I said, these are my first pair of glasses, and I am thankful that Brian and Liz were on hand to help me not only a) find the right lenses for me, but also b) "hum, ha, ooh and ah!" while I tried on a number of frames. The best part about having some more opinions on the last part is that you try on things you might not usually pick, and I for one am very happy with the not so classic Amy style that I brought home with me. So thanks Classic, and I will continue to come back for my eye health needs as long as you keep up with the amazing service.

We found Classic Optical several years ago and since then we won't go to other optometrist or even just to get eyeglasses. Dr. Michael Conklin is always checking our eyes very carefully and thoroughly to make sure we have no serious issues. He will not recommend expensive surgery if we don't need it now. Staffs are super friendly and kind. Make sure we get the best benefit with insurance and what we like when we look for frames. They will never force to purchase expensive eyeglasses unless we want to. What else you can ask for? Thank you so much! We found a great optometrist and staffs that we can trust!

I'm a big fan of Dr. Bogus and his team! I recently relocated to the area and was very particular…read moreabout finding the right optometrist for me. At my first appointment, I felt pleasantly surprised that Dr. Bogus took the time to hear what I had to say (e.g., recent vision issues) and then he conducted his exam to see if his findings can help explain the issues. The appointment never felt rushed and Dr. Bogus always made sure to explain everything to my full understanding. Knowing what I knew about my eyes, Dr. Bogus was dead on with diagnosing me (my last optometrist was also really good) and he isn't someone who will see you once and out the door you go. He is someone who will always follow-up, as well as provide you the best option that will not drain your HSA/wallet. For example, I went in with the intent of getting computer glasses and rather than have me shell out $450, he suggested first that we try eye drops to see if perhaps my eye fatigue/strain is due to the lack of moisture. In short, if you want to see a truly good optometrist who genuinely cares about your vision, go see Dr. Bogus. Sometimes he can get rather busy so book well in advance of when you want to see him. It is worth the wait. Thank you, Dr. Bogus & team, for everything!

I was nearsighted, hated contacts and glasses. Had been putting off getting Lasik for a couple of…read moreyears, and after my wife went through a procedure here for the PDR treatment (which was the only place that had it WITH good reviews), so I was able to see how smooth the process was altogether. Altogether I don't think it clocked past 4 hours, which I mean EVERYTHING. The initial eye exam to ensure I was a good candidate for begin with, the surgery itself, following up with check ups, and all the wait time and paperwork. The staff is very peppy and friendly, and I personally love the little refreshment section they have to make it feel more relaxing. The procedure itself felt like it was barely 5 minutes. The "worst" part is when pressure is applied when your eyes need to be completely open, and that was just uncomfortable and nothing painful. You can only see blurriness and lights to follow, so there was nothing to freak me out during the procedure. The staff is very good at being encouraging and soothing, it was literally over before I knew it anyways. Absolutely do take a nap afterwards! I was unfortunately woken up abruptly in the middle of my recovery nap, and going back to sleep without numbed eyeballs was probably the worst of it all. Other than that, keeping up with the eye drops during the healing process is cakewalk. I immediately (and literally) saw the results. I even ended up with better than average vision, 20/15! Definitely recommend LasikPlus for anyone interested in getting it done.

The procedure itself was about 10-15 minutes. It was absolutely painless, just felt some pressure. My eyes were very sensitive after the procedure (why naps are encouraged). I got home, took a 4 hour nap and when I woke up, the eye irritation was significantly less. Every passing day, my eyes are less dry and irritated. And my vision seems to get better and clearer. After care was very easy, eye drops and vitamins. Price was great, office staff is great, process & after care, great. Very satisfied and glad I chose to come here. Would definitely recommend!
