Terrible. Once they have your deposit they are in no hurry and then when you get your counter tops the holes for the sink don't fit the sink. Terrible quality. My backsplash edges don't match up and when I asked them to fix it, they took some kind of black bundles stuff and mixed it in there with their finger and left. read more

The third time they rescheduled my installation they were 7 hours late. So u was unable to be there to see that the overhang varied 3/4". The sink cutout was over 1" off which meant my dishwasher did not fit. When I tried to get them out to resolve the problem noone showed up for the appointment. I definitely would not recommend! read more

Beautiful work done a granite counter top and sink for master bath no problems

We confirmed with them 3 times that they were to do the install on the 14th. We called them every day for 5 days leading up to the 14th trying to get a time out of them so we could plan who would be home. The morning of the 14th we still didn't have a time! We FINALLY got ahold of someone and they told us that our install wasn't on their schedule, so they would 'try to fit us in that week.' When they did finally come they were totally disrespectful of our home leaving huge dirty handprints all over our walls and breaking the existing tiles we had on our landing. We will never be doing business with these people again. Seriously, not worth it. read more

Miguel was AMAZING to work with. He went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. We went to several different places to pick out the perfect slab- and he actually came out with us to Salt Lake to make sure it would work for what we wanted. He was able to call distributors in Salt Lake to make sure they stayed open for us. I can't begin to tell you how great the customer service is. They make you feel like you are their top priority. The slab we picked had different grains and patterns throughout, truly a one of a kind piece, and he picked the perfect places to cut to display the most beautiful parts of it. The installers, were perfectionists and very professional. As a first timer to getting a kitchen remodel there were things I didn't know about the timing of things. Here is what I learned: 1) As soon as the cabinet bases are put in, the counter top people (Galaxy) can come out and make an exact template, 2) Have your faucets purchased before and they will cut them to fit whatever you have chosen, 3) We had the granite installed within seven working days from the time they measured, 4) We wanted subway tile back splash, and Miguel arranged that for us. As soon as my cabinet doors are hung I will post final pictures. I would recommend Galaxy to everyone. read more

Is their no good customer service anymore? I am so sad. I have used these guys for three bathroom remodels a couple years ago. They were awesome. So of course when I need one small square of quartz for my washroom, I went there. I picked out a remnant, all they needed to do was cut and sand sides. Long story short, after 13 phone calls ( always promising to call back) I never received one call. When I called, they lost my measurements, the cutting guy wasn't there, couldn't find my paperwork, girl was out getting a drink, no one knew anything about my order, they really aren't open on Saturday ( even though it says 9 to 1). These are just a few of the excuses. My mistake was I paid for it up front. So after 2 weeks of run around, my husband went in to pick it up. ( if I went I was going to punch someone). They hadn't even started it! After being told it was ready. They were mad and said do you want your money back? He said heck yes, and he tried to to give him $50 when I paid $200. If you don't want my business just say. Be honest, call back when you say you will, be up front. I will never step foot in there again! read more

My initial experience with them was positive. I went into get a granite countertop for a small bathroom vanity. Was assisted by Carla. I was happy with the price, measurement appointment was scheduled and done in a timely manner, and was satisfied with the time it took to prepare my order and install. The guys did a good job with installation. This is where my positive experience fell apart.......while waiting for the install, we noticed a crack in the marble tile of our shower surround. I asked the gentleman working in the office there about the possibility of that being repaired and was told to bring it to the attention of the installers and they could repair it. Well, my hubby forgot to ask when they were there. We have made numerous phone calls and have made one visit there over the past 2 weeks requesting an appointment to have the installer come out and repair our crack. It appears that Carla is the one responsible for appointments AND SHE DOES NOT CALL BACK!!!!!!! I cannot recommend them with such shoddy aftercare customer service as we have received. read more

Do not pay until they are 100% done. Terrible customer service. It took 15 phone calls 8 texts and 4 and a half Weeks for them to finish. We picked out a beautiful peice from a great showroom of variety. We were also given a great price. HOWEVER, the whole team has horrible communication, chance is the worst. He refused to answer calls or return texts or voicemails. First instal on a tuesday didnt fit so we had no counter or sink. They came back on thursday. Installed the granit but they had the wrong size sink, it took 7 more days before we got a sink, but they didnt drill the hole for the faucet. So 4 more days without a faucet. Migel himself came on a saturday afternoon after MULTIPLE phone calls. I was also promised that a 6" x12" piece next to my oven would be replaced. It took more phone calls more texts and 2 and a half more weeks to finally get someone to fix it. read more

We had some friends of ours recommend Galaxy after the renovations that were done in their home. Galaxy did a great job for our friends and we decided to have them do a fireplace hearth for us. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our project. Marisol was very helpful in picking out the piece we wanted to use and the estimate, measurements and production all went very smoothly and fast. The installation by Mario and friend was terrific, there were some challenges due to the shape of the hearth but they did an awesome job of overcoming and finishing the job. They were prompt at arriving on time and cleaned up after themselves very well. It was a good experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

Had a countertop installed. It took many rescheduled appointments and reordering ya da ya da ya da to finally get the countertop installed. About 6 months later there was a Fischer on the corner cut about an inch or two long. I called and they came and patched it up and said that's all that they could do. Now I have a crack in my countertop that's about 6 inches in length. This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. I called to get this remedied, but they told me that I only had a year warranty. They installed a faulty and flawed countertop and do not stand by their workmanship. Basically a third world country operation. I would definitely go elsewhere. I will be contacting the BBB as well as an attorney. read more

We picked out granite from their showroom and scheduled an installation date. We were told to have all plumbing disconnected, sinks removed, etc, to prepare for the install on a Saturday morning. Saturday morning came and went. By early afternoon we began calling to see what the delay was. Mind you, we have NO water in any of our bathrooms or our kitchen at this point while we sit and wait for them to show up. They never did show up. After dozens of phone calls, text messages, and finally driving down to the showroom to see what was going on, we learned that they were not able to do the install that day due to a scheduling issue. We had to replace all the plumbing, sinks, etc, only to remove them two weeks later for the actual install. When they finally did show up, they didn't finish the job. We had ordered granite for our windowsills in the bathrooms and they "forgot" those pieces. Within one week, the seam in the granite in front of the kitchen sink had popped and needed repair. They had the nerve to call me to ask for the remainder of their fee (we had paid 50% down with 50% to be paid upon completion). I told them that I would be more than happy to pay them the rest of their fee when they came and fixed the popped seam and installed our sills. They must have written it off because they never did come back and finish the job. It's been two years. read more

If these guys were the last guys on earth that did countertops, I'd go without. We provided an amazing stone from DalTile. They did an amazing job of ruining it. They templated it wrong, they mitered it wrong, they cracked the stone drilling for the soap dispenser, sealed it with garbage and then offered garbage customer service. They blamed the stone quality for the crack. It became our fault for everything that went wrong. Their customer service person said, "we gave you what you ordered", NOT!!! To make things worse we can't even use the left over stone for what we had intended on our fireplace. Our solution; take them to court to try and get the cost of our stone and their labor charge, buy new stone and start over. If "time" is an asset in your daily lives, these folks are not your choice, as they are a total waste of your time. There are always problems in most any construction. The customer service aspect of that is a usual remedy, but not with these guys!!! Save yourself the grief! read more

We have had a horrible experience with Galaxy Countertops. Miguel was supposed to finish our countertops months ago. We are now living in our new home with unfinished countertops and grout that needs fixing. He has promised us a few times to be in to finish the job, and then we never hear from him. We have tried to contact him numerous times with no answer. Completely unprofessional. I highly recommend to stay away from this place. We used Galaxy for two kitchens and one bath. Their workmanship was flawless. They were booked pretty far out, but it was well worth the wait. One of the countertops was cut wrong, but they cut a whole new piece and brought it the next day. read more

My top had 2 chips in the top front edge and was not polished out very well. They wrote my name on the top of it with something other than a grease pencil and required a lot of scraping and buffing to get off. The finished product would not meet professional grade in my opinion. read more

By far the worst place to do business with. When we built our home, they brought us the wrong countertops and installed them knowing they were incorrect. They said it wasn't an option to fix them at that point and basically pointed the finger at me. Later on the assistant told me the owner knew it was the wrong countertop. Then when they came to install the marble in our shower, they dented every single wall in our bathroom so severe that it had to be patched costing us hundreds. I let it all slide and didn't write a bad review because I didn't want to waste another minute on this business. But now we have lived in the house for only a year and a half, every bit of tile on our shower floor is cracked, the shelves in the corners have both fallen off and shattered, and the caulking is just awful in our kitchen. Do not use this company. They do a terrible job and have even worse customer service. read more
