About 2 1/2 years later I had another leaking pipe from the fence installation. It was very apparent that the cut was made with a post hole digger. The installer ignored the cut line and poured concrete over the pipe and the installed the fence post. This was the same process used on the first line that was damaged. I had a last minute fence repair that needed some attention, so I stopped by Utah Fence Warehouse yesterday. This is my second visit in a month. The piece I was in need of is an older version for vinyl fencing. Unfortunately, my findings were my fence style is no longer available. Oh-oh!!!! Veronica, who was the person they assisted me, didn't give up, in her effort to find me a solution. She had a few pieces of fencing that was removed from a house recently and guess what!!!! She found an exact match. Wow!!! To make this experience even more amazing, she had her team cut it to size for me. When finished, she handed me the fence piece and when I asked her what I owed... she gave me the biggest smile and said... "absolutely nothing!" I couldn't believe it! Talk about a sincere and community approach to conducting business. We intend to redo our composite deck this coming March. Total mistake using these guys. Installed the gate improperly but refuse to come out to fix it. I called 3 times and I keep getting told I need to talk to the installer. When I've called the installer I get the run around. So I call them back and get told again to call the installer. Told them I get no response and am told nothing they can do about it. Very unhappy with the damage that they have done to our sprinkler system. We have paid over $1500 in damages to our system (they hit the line with every post on one side of the fence and then multiple other spots). We haven't turned on our sprinklers since having the fence installed in Nov 2021. Called the company and basically was told there's nothing they can do (the installers don't remember hitting our sprinkler line and the back of the contract protects them). They also had to come back out to fix a gate that didn't line up properly and wouldn't stay shut. Please protect yourself and go with a different fence company. read more

A month later my neighbor was having power issues and the power company came out and traced it right to the fence post they installed. Our entire experience with Utah Fence Warehouse was a completely positive experience. The salesman was knowledgeable, walked our yard with us to understand exactly what we were trying to achieve, offered advise on other things to consider, and made us aware of changes to the yard that would happen (like trimming back trees, moving sprinkler, jack hammering our rock wall, etc) to achieve the look we were striving for. After that he developed a quote, presented it to us, and spent as much time as needed answering any questions we had. Knocked it out of the park. DO NOT use Utah Fence Warehouse for your fence installation. I recently had them install my fence and could not be more dissatisfied. Of course, they have a clause in their contract that says they are not liable for damage to sprinkler lines. I can accept that, since all fence contractors have the same clause. What I do not think is acceptable is that they hit my sprinkler line, didn't inform me of the damage, and then proceeded to pour concrete into my sprinkler system to set their posts. Then buried all the damage in the hope that I wouldn't find out. I did find out and am now dealing with the aftermath. To sum up, avoid Utah Fence Warehouse at all costs. They will do an average job on what you pay for and then add an unknown amount of damage onto the bill. read more

Happy unhappy with this company. They charged 3800.00 for a landing and 3 steps. The work is good. However when they were here the put the railing wrapped in plastic on the grass and burnt my grass to a crisp. When I informed them of this all I got was so sorry. Really? It cost a lot of money to put in a lawn and maintain it. You couldn't take a measly 20.00 off the bill for a piece of sod. I am not someone who likes my home DISRESPECTED, especially if I have asked you for service and I live up to my part by paying the bill. Originally, my fence was supposed to be installed toward the end of August 2017, but the scheduler (Annette) and the installer (Dave and crew) accommodated my request to have it installed in the beginning of August and they made it happen. The team at Utah Fence Warehouse (estimator / scheduler / installer) are consummate professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering having a fence installed. Working with this company was very frustrating. I installed a section of 6ft privacy fence and a section of 4ft picket. They lost my order several times. They have terrible organizational skills. Their desks are a mess The exterior is littered with so much stuff it isn't surprising they couldn't keep everything straight. After waiting outside for at least 20 minutes they would finally have my order in my truck. When I picked up my posts they gave me 10 more posts than what I needed. They told me to space my picket fence posts every 7ft when they were supposed be every 6ft. When I picked up my railings they couldn't find half my order so I left with only half of what I needed. When I finally had all my supplies, I found that they gave me 8 more railings than I needed. Oh and if you want fence post caps you have to ask for them. They won't remember to just give them to you. Finally as I installed my railings in the picket fence posts, I found that one of the posts had holes that were .25in too small for the railing to fit. It was already concreted in so I had to carefully cut the holes bigger. read more

I have been pretty unhappy with my experience. They spaced my posts for Simtek fencing without much thought towards really accurate spacing, and in my opinion, didn't use enough concrete to set some. Install showed up with the several incorrect posts (ends, instead of corners) but that was my fault for not double checking the estimate, so used them anyways. Guess that means when I continue my fence next year I'll have to rip out $300 in posts and replace with the right ones. I had planned my fence project to require minimum cuts, instead practically every other panel now has one end haphazardly cut off, this wastes my money, reduces strength and just generally bugs me. Didn't even bother with a straight edge, just lopped them off and stuck them I'm. Maybe it's just my OCD when it comes to the little things, not to mention that now the panels keep falling down and are filled with pests because the open ended panel makes a perfect home. The gates hang kinda funny too, but I think that's an adjustment thing. So long story short, if your looking for punctuality, precision, attention to detail and just total overall customer satisfaction, might want to look elsewhere. I just don't think that for $7,000 of my hard earned money I would use them again, or recommend them to a friend. read more
