This place rocks and the guys that work here are so nice. Yes, I said guys - because I've had way better service from the males than I have the females. It's not that the ladies have been horrible, but the guys have always remembered our name or gone out of their way to be nice and help us. We rented a tile saw from here and I couldn't get it back in time and they were super nice and accommodating with us. They've given my husband a bunch of advice for DIY projects. I feel like the name "Tile for Less" makes it sound like a cheap place, but their tile is actually extremely nice quality - better than you would get at Lowes or Home Depot but for about the same price. Tile for Less has a very convenient location with an extremely knowledgeable staff. They can help you get the supplies for any job that you're looking to do and save you the extra three trips to the hardware store. I've shopped here for multiple jobs, the latest being 700 square feet of flooring of faux hardwood plank tiles. Not only do they have the supplies, but they also rent the tools you need to get the job done. I rented a sliding tile saw this last job - the rates are reasonable, the blade is sharp, and it makes it as easy as tile can get. Even though it got busy their clerk stayed friendly, positive and helpful. They had a better selection than the box stores at better prices and real customer service. Awesome experience buying tile here for a last-minute bathroom on a tight deadline. We didn't anticipate not being able to find anything we liked at the big home improvement stores. Prices are slightly higher than big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's, but selection is somewhat higher but still limited for being a store that specializes in tile and decorative masonry. I purchased two boxes of mosaic porcelain tiles and was told by the store employee that I could bring back any uncut sheets of tile for a full refund. When I went to return the two full boxes (we decided to go with another tile from another location) I was met with visible and audible frustration from the clerk and who I assume was the manager. They quickly pointed out the return policy that was stamped on the invoice after I paid with my card and was told that I could return any uncut sheets. The return policy states that there is a twenty percent restocking fee on any returns. The manager said that they don't enforce that policy if it's only a partial return, but in the "rare" case of a full return they choose to enforce the policy to "cover the cost of credit card fees". This fee came to be $67. I understand policy is policy, but when I'm told by an employee that ANY uncut tile can be returned for a full refund, and I return unopened boxes it should be a full refund. They told me one thing, I purchased, and then they stamped the return policy on the paper. They were not accommodating, showed a lack of genial interaction after I said that I wanted to return the tile, and will not have my business in the future. They have slightly below average customer service and they have a TERRIBLE selection. MaKe sure you absolutely 100% like what you get and make sure you have a backup plan with them and they have what you want in store as a backup. If not you will have to pay a 20% restocking fee for returns, that makes no sense at all. Yes they get to keep money for free but it's a tiny price to pay to lose future potential customers.
