We we're trying to pick out our tile and all had masks on. When we were social distancing we lowered them to talk amongst our family. When we were speaking to associates we had them on. The associate came close to us and said if we don't put out masks up the entire time we had to leave. If no one is near us we are maintaining social distancing. We we're not near anyone with our masks lowered, we appreciate others safety. This store was very rude and offensive. read more

This review is a warning to anyone shopping at Floor and Decor. They will recommend their "certified" installers, all who are vetted, etc. But the company they use is a complete scam. The installers are inexperienced, and will damage your homes! Floor and Decor should be ashamed they use this third party. That's the best part, Floor and Decor absolves itself from any liability because it's a third party. DO NOT PURCHASE from Floor and Decor unless you can do the work yourself or have a contractor you can trust. read more

We had a lot of issues with this store and product. We spoke to a sales person and selected an Aquaguard laminate planking. At no time did she tell us that if we had left over boxes of laminate, they had to be full boxes to get credit for unused materials. Nor did she show us the bullnose. We expected it to match and fit flush. It is darker in color and does not fit flush, nor did it fit correctly. When I took it back to the store, I found out if I wanted the stairs flush I had to buy the whole step and riser for an additional $900, but would have to wait for up to two weeks. Each of our planks cost around $11, but they would only let us return three from our samples at $5 a plank. Needless to say we kept the planks. Our installers obtained through their service were awesome. We love our floors, but did not enjoy our in store experience. You would think that when you spend over $4,000 the customer service would be better. I would not recommend buying from a Floor & Decor if this is their business model for customer service. read more

As an FYI for future customers. My wife and I purchased LVP flooring from them in June, we inquired about matching Cap-A-Tread and risers when we were making the LVP flooring purchase and we were told they were switching brands but it would be no problem to match the flooring. I took pictures of the SKU number and color to make sure I had a record of it, i was told they could convert it to the new manufacturers number to match the color of the LVP we were purchasing. We were told to return in August and it should be able to be ordered, we did and inquired about the Cap-A-treads and risers again and were told to come back again in September which we just did. They don't have the treads and risers and couldn't match them for us, they told us to go to Home Depot because they carry them. We went there and the color of flooring we have isn't available in the Cap-A-Treads and risers any longer, I even called Zamma the manufacturer, it's no longer made. I had to settle for choosing a color that was somewhat close but certainly was not a match for our floors. Bottom line suggestion for any customers is if they don't have everything available at the time you're purchasing the flooring or they say they are changing suppliers that's the time to run and purchase everything together at the same time somewhere else. I'm very disappointed that they were more interested in just making the sale on LVP flooring to clear out the inventory than they were in ensuring that we would truly be able to get everything we needed for our remodel to do it right. Yes they loaded the LVP i my vehicle which was nice and I've seen other customers comment on this but that certainly doesn't make up for the mismatched flooring and stairs we will have now. read more

Wow!!! We were helped by Derrick and he was just wonderful. We needed 18 boxes of large tile and he didn't even hesitate to help us load everything up and he had a smile the entire time. He was funny as well. He even rang everything up for us on his hand held device and made the process super easy. Great job Derrick. Amazing customer service and we will always buy and refer people to floor and decor and tell them to work with Derrick. Very satisfied customers!!!! read more

I have been into the store several times as we have tried to select flooring for our house. The last couple of times we received the assistance of Wayne. We told him our thoughts and concerns about floors we had considered and then he guided us to something different and provided us with all of the information we would want about the quality and durability of the product. After trying out some samples at home and talking about it we decided to head back to the store to get some information about some of the specifics of how to deal with stairs, transitions, etc. We were directed to Wayne again and he was able to answer all of questions. The store also has classes on laying wood flooring every Saturday and we will be attending that too. They have good prices and service and we will definitely be buying from them. read more

Jo was amazing and helped way more than I thought was possible for our bathroom project. She was able to get us into an appointment right away on a Saturday and walked through the store going over options, pros and cons of what we picked out and laid it out for us so we could see what it would look like. She got different options for accent walls and showed us what they would look like with our choices. She even loaded everything on the cart for us, got our grout and priced out some laminate floor we were looking at for another project. I called the store looking for a tile that was out at the Draper store. Nichole was so extremely helpful. She found it and pulled it aside so it was ready for me after a 1 hour drive. We ordered $2700 worth of tile were assured that it would be delivered by Friday as we have contractors coming to input the floor on Monday. Multiple times on Friday we called were rerouted when they finally did answer the phone they assured us they call us back no recall. We called again and again and again and still have not received our tile one store is indicating that they didn't receive a form from the other store. Very disappointed read more

Everyone at the store was super helpful and friendly. Shelbilee was absolutely AMAZING and walked around the entire store with us, helping design our bathroom while also keeping our budget in mind. I was dreading going through the process but it turned out to be a fun experience! Scott and Nick were also great. We will definitely be coming back when we start construction on our new home in MT. I have shopped at the Riverdale store for the past few years as I've built my house, and always been very satisfied. Recently, as I was on a shopping trip with my wife for tile for our master bathroom, I had a very poor experience. This stems from the Wuhan coronavirus, COVID 19 precautions you have in place to wear a mask. My party entered the store and while we were putting our masks on we received sarcastic comments about "you have to put it on", while we were obviously in the process of putting them on. Then as we looked for tile we would speak amongst ourselves, and if no others were within six feet we would pull the mask down to speak, if others were near we would speak through our masks. Occasionally as we spoke the masks would slip down over our noses, the entire time in the store employees were following us making sarcastic comments and vague threats about needing to wear the correctly and at all times. The only people to be within six feet of us when we were speaking with our masks down were employees who would approach us to confront us about the issue. This culminated in an aggressive team member getting in my face and telling me to leave if I wouldn't wear my mask correctly. I calmly complied and left the store, though I was angry and nearly confronted her. Do to this discourteous and rude behavior I will be shopping elsewhere. The entire time I was in your store I felt uncomfortable and targeted. It was a wholly unpleasant experience. I understand the social pressure to require shoppers to wear masks, but as an individual with a masters degree in biochemistry who has made his career working with bacterial cultures and infectious virus strains, including dengue fever and the West Nile virus, there is no medical benefit to pulling a T-shirt over my nose (the equivalent of a cloth mask or a dust mask). If your stores required a respirator, eye goggles, nitrile or latex gloves, long sleeved shirts and pants, along with closed toe shoes, (the minimum personal protective equipment required when dealing with any potentially aerosolized compound) I could understand the requirement, as all you require is a dust mask (a wholly ineffective deterrent to bacterial infections, let alone viral infections which are at least 100 times smaller than bacteria) to enter your store, it's a joke that you demand your employees harass and hound the customers that support your business. I ask you to take a scientific approach, rather than a politically correct one. read more

My husband and I had such a great experience at Floor & Decor last week, thanks to Wayne Hansen. Wayne was friendly, knowledgable and so unbelievably helpful. He went above and beyond educating us on the various products and everything else we would need to complete our project. Best of all, he had years of experience doing similar projects so he was able to educate us from that experience. It also huge to us to feel like Wayne actually cared about us and what we were trying to accomplish in our home.
