I wear a large ring size, so the store offered to have one custom-made for my finger, rather than sizing an existing one that they had at the store, which might've destroyed the integrity of the setting...I'm used to this! It was ready when they said it would be ready (about 6 weeks, which is typical most places in the US, in my experience), and I am very happy with the ring! I wish they had more estate and vintage pieces, but I think they cater to more mainstream tastes than my own. If you're looking for an island pendant or charm in gold or silver, a wedding band or solitaire engagement ring, or other small-scale fine jewelry, this is probably a good place to stop by if you're in Vineyard Haven!

I went in on Wednesday August 15 at around 10:00 am and the girl (I don't know her name) did a tattoo on my foot of a flower. She used a brown henna which I thought was strange because in the past (in other shops) Black was used because I'm dark brown and it showed up fine but she insisted that after a full 24 hours I will be able to see it. WRONG! I could not see it. There was another tattoo/nail shop on circuit ave that I went into to ask why did this henna tattoo not show up on me and he said it is because the henna is brown and i am brown Duh?? So I don't know why the girl insisted that I would see it the next. Just a heads up for brown girls don't waste your money because if your dark brown the TATTOO WILL NOT SHOW. In addition there was music playing by Marvin Gaye and in his irritation (clearly with us), he turned the music saying "it's driving me crazy" and turned it to "another artist".
