I highly recommend this company. I was a little hesitant about getting the system but they had a…read moregreat representative that came out to my home and explain the benefits of every system they offer. What I like about them is that they weren't trying to tell what they wanted me to get. They analyzed my home and explained all the systems that would work for my home and I selected the system I wanted. The staff is very professional and patient. The installation workers were friendly and knowledgeable. They were extremely careful with my expensive landscaping. The water is awesome!!! I have been longing for a system in my home and I'm glad I went with Kinetico. I recommend them to anyone who values quality and great customer service. Thank you

We bought a home with a 5-year old Kinetico water softener. The water in the house would come out…read morefrothy and SUPER salty. We had Kinetico come and service it. They said that the issue was that we needed to replace the PRV out by the street, which would cost $1,000. We had a non-Kinetico plumber come out to change out the PRV and see if he could help solve the softener issue. The first thing he pointed out was that the Kinetico filter hadn't been changed in what looked like years - yet the Kinetico service peeps had been there "servicing" the system just a few days earlier! The non-Kinetico plumber noted that he wouldn't touch a Kinetico system, but he showed us how to change the filter and charged $200 to replace the PRV. (One fifth the price of the Kinetico quote.) The PRV and filter change made no difference in the salt water issue, so we had Kinetico come out again. (Another $250 even though it was under warranty.) They came out again and replaced some small components in the system head, BUT also said that they recommend that we replace the system with one of their newer models because our warranty was about to expire AND the salt would probably return. OR add a dechlorinator, but they couldn't say if that would actually solve the problem. The new system would be ~$7,500 if we bought it before our warranty expired. It would be more expensive if we waited a month (after the expiration date). (They try to upsell on the phone and when they come out. It is a constant thing with anyone we speak to.) Three weeks later the salty water returned - extreme frothy, salty water. When taking a shower, it is as if we are bathing with ocean water. I generally wash my face afterward with bottled water to get the salt off my lips. Obviously, we can't drink the water like that. So if you crave salt water and want a softener that will last less than 5 years and want to pay $250 per service call (when under warranty) Kinetico is the choice for you. It has been a very disappointing experience. We are replacing the system with a less expensive but hopefully more reliable system.

We own a dog grooming spa in Stone Oak, and water is in every service we sell. San Antonio's water…read moreis hard, and it showed: shampoo that wouldn't lather, coats that felt filmy after the rinse, scale on the tub fixtures and dryer nozzles. What set Simple Water Softeners apart started before they sold us anything. Lisa sat down and explained what hardness actually does to a dog's coat and skin, how much water a bath station moves in a day, and why a residential unit would fail at our volume. No pressure. No upsell. Just a clear explanation, then a system sized for the real load. The install was fast and clean. They walked our team through the salt and service schedule, and they've checked in since without being asked. They didn't just set a unit on the pad, either. They built an addition onto the building to house the system properly, which tells you how they think about the work: done right, and done to last. The results our groomers notice every day: shampoo rinses clean, conditioner works the way it's supposed to, tubs stay clear of scale, and the dogs go home with coats that feel right. Our clients notice it too. We hear it at pickup: the coat is softer, the skin is calmer, and it stays that way longer between spa days. For a shop bathing over 300 dogs a month, that's not a nice-to-have. Honest, generous with their time, and professional from the first conversation to the last follow-up call. If your business runs on water, call them.
