I brought my Shorkie in for a groom session, as he was badly in need of a haircut. I arrived at exactly 8:00 AM and Slawa was already there and ready to go. She has n easy-going attitude, and my pooch took to her immediately. The place is clean and professional in terms of appearance. Most important for my puppy- it was quiet at this time of day. My dog is pretty high anxiety as most little pups are, and usually barks incessantly while being groomed. Not this time. He was quiet and he was well behaved. Slawa had that effect on him. The end result was wonderful. Walter looked and felt fantastic when we left. I highly recommend this place to everyone in need of grooming services. read more

I wish I didn't have to leave this review. But my experience was not what I expected. I am new to the area and haven't been able to find a groomer who can groom my shepherd correctly. After seeing reviews on Suava and how great they are. I decided to give her a chance before I set in stone that I'd continue doing an hour drive to get my dog groomed. Suava listened very well to what I asked for and informed me roughly how long it would take. When I received the call to pick up my dog, I arrived and everything was fine. I could see my dog from the moment I walked in and she was ready to go. She looked good. Everything was fine. She said she was very hyper and wiggly, which to me is strange because her original groomer never had a problem with her. However the next morning when I woke up and looked at her, she did not look right. So I started to examine her(I was a vet tech for many years) and noticed there was a fluid filled ball on her chest about the size of a soft ball. I instantly called and sent the vet pictures and she asked me what happened. (Thankfully it cannot be cancer because she's still very young) I called Suava back and asked her if anything happened and she said no. The ball on her chest is more like some kind of burn of either hot water or hot air from a dryer. Her hair was falling out in chunks from her chest and the ball on her chest took about 4 days to go down and stop bothering her. It was very disappointing to have my dog in pain and have to limit her activity being that she is so young. All because of a deshedding groom appointment. read more

Swava (forgive me if I misspelled it here), the European lady that works there us very no- nonsense, extremely professional, and a just a joy to deal with. She'll tell us straight up when she can deliver our dog, and what she can and can't do. The turnaround time has always been really great, and the rate is very reasonable. She's about the only groomer I've found that my difficult little dog respects enough to finish the job. I really appreciate the work they do here, even if my dog isn't always thrilled. Seriously though, very professional, fast and reasonable. They offer a variety of services, including cats I think, though I've only really gone to them for dog grooming, and I'd highly recommend it. read more

We have a large thick haired male cat which needed grooming, but hates strangers and fights us when we try to groom and trim its nails. Heard about Gail's from reviews at another website. We went to see her. She and her husband did a great job washing him, giving him the lion's cut, and trimming its nails, while reducing his stress level. She even identified flea bites which we couldn't see because of the thick hair. Cost was $70, which is reasonable, and we won't have to go back for 6 months. We've taken him to Gail's twice over the last year, and will continue to use her pet grooming services in the future. read more

Don't go here!!!! I clearly made the mistake of believing these reviews and went there today for the first time. Whoever left these reviews are either paid or never stayed around while their fur babies were getting groomed. I called ahead and asked if they could help with one of my dogs nails that got so long that i believed it to be curled into his skin (my fault for not noticing) they said to bring him in. Within 10 minutes I was there and was greeted by this very nasty blonde woman. She immediately tugged my dog out of hands and started clipping his nails right in front of me (never even asked me which was the bad one to begin with) my dog was visibly upset, he is not violent but was naturally trying to break free from her strong hold. She proceeds to YELL at my dog and take him to the back room to get assistance. There is a little window which allows you to see so I watched. She continued to tug at my dog HARD while yelling at him to stay still. At this point I'm in tears and I yelled out to her which nail was the bad one...... she looked over and ignored me. She continued to clip away as my dog yelped. I heard the other woman say he was bleeding. She didn't think I heard her, she put on something on his nails to stop the bleeding I'm assuming and then threw him on the ground and he ran over to me. I picked him up with my eyes filled with tears and asked if he was bleeding (blood was clearly visible on the coat) she says no. And then says, that'll be $10. To top it off, I only had a debit card on me and rolled her eyes when I tried to pay with it. I walked to my car and grabbed cash to give to her. This place needs to be shut down. read more
