And all the other times I've taken her (almost 2 years) this did not happen. So I will not be bringing her back and will not recommend to anyone anymore. ~ took her to vet afterwards and confirmed it was a nick with medicine on it. Small and it's an accident. Just moved to the area and found this groomers. Called and was told to bring her in and the pick up time. I dropped her off with her special shampoo because she has sensitive skin. A few hours later they called me back to pick her up. I was really happy with the results. Her fur was cut evenly and not choppy at all! I loved that most of all. She was even all over. I told them to leave her tail and some hair on the face. They didn't leave as much hair around her face and I would like, but she still came out great and I have no regrets going here. Imma start off by saying my dog is a sweet and loving dog, but when it comes to grooming he is not easy, and puts up a fight. But OMG! I dropped him off with Margareth and when I picked him up he looked amazing! She did an amazing job! Furrr-fect place for your paw-ppies to bring in for manis, pedis, grooming, teeth cleaning, you name it! I love La-Bone and I'm so thankful my fellow doggie mom friend referred me to this amazing spa! She brings in all 3 of her sons here for grooming and each time they come out looking like superstars, or should I say, superdogs lol! Having two chihuahuas, they really don't need much done to them as far as grooming goes. They don't need haircuts or special baths but they do need some love in their tiny mouths and nails. My 9 year old chi, who now lives with her grandparents, spoil her so much that sometimes forget to brush her teeth. Unfortunately, her teeth got to the point that they were so full of tartar and in such a bad condition that just brushing them would never be able to do the job. I thought it was too late and unfortunately we did not have the means to take her to the vet for a professional teeth cleaning. This does cost an arm and a leg, and yes, it is worth it! I always say, anything for your four pawed children. However, coming across La-Bone and their plaque cleanse miracle TRULY changed my senior dog's life and extended an extra few years for her by getting rid of all that plaque and soreness she had going around her gums. She had a massive amount of bacteria in there and a lot of soreness. I heard so much about the plaque cleanse that I wanted to give it a shot and see what it was all about. Well, my before and after speaks for itself. For about $35 her teeth were brand new. She did loose one tooth because it was already in such a bad state and ready to wiggle off so they took care of it for her. Of course, this was at no extra charge. Her mouth was brand new. A little sore, but it disappeared within a few days. Her teeth were sparkling clean, fresh breath and she is SO happy now being able to eat and her whole attitude and demeanor changed. She is a brand new chihuahua! I also made sure my 2 year old chi had the plaque cleanse done, there wasn't much that needed to be done for him since his teeth were very healthy but it definitely helped extend his teeth life. As far as nail cutting, they are the best. A little bit more than if you go to Pet Smart or any other pet store but totally worth it. They cut them really close to the skin to make sure they are able to walk and even run better and control the growth of the nail. This is totally normal if they come out bleeding a little. They do a great job and take care of your babies. Honestly, I will be forever coming back here and I've already referred all my friends to La Bone. They're exceptional. read more

Today our 4 month old baby boy Deuce got groomed for the very first time at La Bone and we are very happy with the outcome. I was on a flight back to FL when my fiancé decided to get him spruced up for my arrival. I was so happy to see how handsome he looked and how wonderful he smelled! They didn't trim too much of his fur that I love so much...it gives him his signature rascal Deuce look. From what I heard, he was well taken care of and I can see it! They didn't knick or cut our boy and his trim was perfect...not choppy and unattractive. They even put this cute little bandana around his neck. A true puppy spa experience! To my pleasant surprise, they are not only groomers but also sell plenty of dog accessories like clothes and beds. Otsana was dropped off at 9:00 am and she was ready for pick-up at 11:00 am. I was almost shocked because at her previous groomers, it would be a day-long wait. Otsana was groomed to perfection and smelled lovely. I went here because the pet store that I got my puppy from had a deal with them to get a free trim and I decided to get a full cut since he was in need of one. They said that his hair was pretty matted so I got charged a total of $30 which still isn't bad for a fully groomjng. They said it was gonna take about 4 hours. Which I thought was really long. But it ended up on taking about 2 hours. When I got him I was pretty satisfied with the cut. He looked like a whole new puppy. I didn't notice alittle afterwards that a few places looked alittle choppy so that is my only complain. But overall I was happy. Just walked out of this place. My dog is two years old and this is the only place that has groomed her. Her weight and sized haven't changed in 18 months... and every time I walk in this place the price is 25% higher!!! I suggest you get a price quote/range over the phone and remember what you pay on the prior visit before coming back.... you'll be amazed... the price on the spot... which is fine if it's $5 or $10 but $35!!??!!! WARNING! Not all puppies are treated the same. I made an appointment for my lab mix and Maltese at 8 AM so they didn't have to stay there all day. Throughout the day I kept trying to pick them up and all they told me was she wasn't ready. When I passed by in the afternoon right when they were closing I find out that my lab was surrounded by a metal cage and was sitting in the corner of the room shaking. This wasn't her first time here so I didn't understand why she spent all day without being groomed. When I asked all they said was 'she didn't let us groom her'. When I asked to speak to the owner Jennifer they said she was busy in the back grooming and couldn't come talk to me but I can call her!?!! When I called Jennifer to ask her why she had been there all day she didn't take responsibility for not calling me to let me know what was going on. I've never had a problem with my lab at any other groomer as a matter fact, everywhere I take her the groomers fall in love. I wasn't going to write a review but it still bothers me the way my puppy was treated and the lack of liability for their actions says a lot about their character. Mother in law just took her dog to this groomer yesterday, and the poor thing came back full of cuts and limping from her hind leg. Several hours later it was still shivering and in shock from the experience. Strongly recommend against using this groomer. Update: The dog was not matted, nor in bad shape. She's a spoiled Shih Tzu that had lived indoors all her life and is treated like a member of the family. The business is in contact with us and hopefully a resolution can be reached. read more

We overheard the dogs crying and the loud noise from the hose they use to wash them. We also heard one person saying out loud "now I'm going to get you back for what you did" in Spanish. This has been my Eva's groomer of choice. I've tried 2 or 3 other groomers but I always bring her back here because they do the best job. Eva is a 5yr. old teacup maltese who gets anxious when she leaves the ppl she knows but even with that the staff always goes above an beyond to try and make her as comfortable as they can. I'm always very specific and detailed on how I want her haircut to be and they always deliver exactly what I asked for. I also have her teeth cleaned here by a system called plaqez. It's only $25 and they don't have to put her under anesthesia like they would at her vets. They get all the build up tartar from the back of her teeth that's hard to get to with a toothbrush. A full groomed pup costs $50 for the smaller breeds. They have other services too like dying their hair fun colors (which Eva has had done), nail polish, facials, massages, etc... It's also a boutique so you'll find clothes, bows, beds, leashes, carriers, food, and toys. They also have puppy's for sale and they're the cutest thing ever! This is where I got Eva from. To me they're family. Not only did I get my little girl from here but they've earned my trust and business. read more

We have visited twice - the first time was great and we loved the way they took care of our dog. The second time was not what we expected. After asking if the my kept any details of how they cut her hair the previous visit, the receptionist scoffed and said that they had too many dogs to keep track of. When we picked her up, the haircut was fine but the receptionist told us the price, which was advertised as $45, would be $50 without any explanation. We paid left and the receipt was not emailed to us as promised. We find later the credit card charged almost $57.50When we called to alert the staff of the error she was unapologetic and insisted that we made and error. The haircuts have been fine, but the service and overcharging will stop us from going back again. read more

Love Jenny and her staff! I've been taking my mini goldendoodle for about a year now - this was the first groomer we tried - and we're both in love. He gets really excited when he sees where we're going and they do such a great job. The staff, especially the gentleman in the front, are welcoming and so patient and sweet with humans and dogs alike.
