Overall I give 4/5 stars for the experience, but this place certainly isn't cheap.. There are some cheaper items on the menu however. Would definitely return.

Despite the queue we didn't have to wait long for a table and it was well worth the wait. We think that it was the best yum cha we've had in Brisbane. The servers were friendly and the dishes were all lovely - it was also very reasonably priced. I would certainly be happy to bring my Malaysian-Chinese mum here!! Although I usually indulge in the takeaway variety, Fish's is also a restaurant and has a relaxed, family atmosphere. Along with the usual fish and chips, there are burgers, seafood platters, meals, mussels, oysters, prawns and calamari also on offer. If it comes from the ocean, chances are Fish's have it! And it's as fresh as fresh can be. If you are looking for somewhere to get excellent fresh prawns for Christmas or a BBQ, theirs come highly recommended by me! As does the cajun fish. I veered away from crumbed fish a little while ago and lashed out with the cajun (a big deal considering I'm a creature of habit) and it is awesome! It gets me time and time again. I could never resist purchasing a kilo or two. You'll find plenty of fish, prawns, squid on display and some chilled products in their fridges. The staff are very helpful and really know their stuff when it comes to fish. I'm still new to cooking seafood creatively, I usually, like to just slap it on the grill and douse it in lemon juice. There is plenty of time to learn different ways of cooking seafood, but for now, I'm getting hungry just writing about it. I think, it's time for me to stop by there today and buy a few bags full of seafood. And I think, you should too! Just in time for the weekend.
