It seems legitimately old and worn, if its a reproduction someone has some serious skills. I read that a lot of items come from Asia (I saw a lot from India) and apparently they have buyers that just go out and look for this type of eclectic furniture in bulk and one offs. Rugs are some of the best deals I have seen (good quality and good price). If you need a piece to really stand out (and no one else has) this is the place to go! They also have free popcorn and fruit drink in the front for customers!

And while I did not end up purchasing anything on this day, I must admit I was quite impressed. It's a pretty terrific store. The amount of items they have is staggering. I've shopped at this Ballard Designs outlet a few time and can say that the experience is…read moreconsistently just fine across the board. The staff are helpful and the prices are definitely reduced, but the items in the store usually have scratches, dents, or other flaws. That being said, you can often find items that you can easily patch yourself or display in a way that minimizes the damage, if you're okay with that. I was nervous to visit during the pandemic, but we wanted to visit since we've been remodeling our house during the lockdown. The staff greeting shoppers outside were friendly and had hand sanitizer for everyone. They provided recommendations for social distancing in-store and explained when large item pick up would be. Once we got into the store, however, the idea of social distancing was out the window. Everyone had a mask on, but there were constantly people all around me, in the narrow aisle ways, squeezing past instead of taking a way around that was clearly available but would require a few more steps. I felt relatively uncomfortable and unsafe inside. As far as the products for sale go, they have a great variety -- chandeliers, lamps, sheets, curio cabinets, chairs, sofas, dining tables and chairs-- you name it! The prices are deeply discounted and the store even runs sales on top of the low prices. I found a unique lamp, a dining room chandelier, a laundry room light, and a chandelier for our rental property. Overall, my experienced at the Ballard Designs outlet was successful in terms of shopping, but the social distancing was lacking, so I felt nervous being there.

I was actually looking for a birthday gift for a friend and was thrilled to find a large selection of unique collectibles and hand painted decorative items. I spent at least 15 minutes checking out the hand painted martini and wine glasses, and I ended up selecting a "Princess" themed glass for my friend. I then looked at the cards and picked out a cute hand-cut one to go with it. My mom ooh'd and ahh'd at the array of hand painted suns and crosses that decorate the walls at Tapestry.

My husband loves the pocket t-shirts and they have some really nice Redhead brand ones here, they are really quality material and last. We didn't need a lot of items on this last trip but we also found a nice dress shirt for him for some of our nicer meals out. We always take a look at the flicker shad lures to see if we need any for our walleye fishing in the spring. We also fish for crappie so we need hooks, bobbers, and jigs. We like to look at the new boats although not in the market for one right now. We will continue to go to this Bass Pro at the very least annually.
