Replaced my battery in my iPhone with four broken batteries before they got one that finally was mediocre. Keeps a charge for a quarter of the time it should. Also the screen they replaced on this phone has a defect which causes what they call "false touches" Apple won't replace any of the parts now because these replacement parts they use are non-factory. Anyway, I don't want to go back now because I feel like I'm a pain in the butt because all I do is complain when I go there. When I initially brought my phone in to them I was impressed by their service. I had broken the screen and they fixed it quickly and with no hassle. However, when the screen fell off and then cracked while I was traveling they refused to cover it under warranty! I went in for a screen repair and came out with more problems than I started with. They successfully replaced the screen, however I had to go back in because there was some gapping between the glass and the metal casing that popped in and out, and there was also some a strange tint to the display, (almost like a photo/SnapChat filter). They replaced the popping screen, but the young man helping me insisted that he couldn't see the color change that was very obvious when viewing the screen from different angles in my opinion. I also noticed new glitches such that 3D touch is not as sensitive, and sometimes my phone will become unresponsive to touch and buttons which is a major inconvenience because my phone will stay on until the 3 minute "sleep" function turns on, (draining my battery a little at a time throughout the day). So, long story short, YES they will fix your initial problem, but be wary that you may not be satisfied in the long run with the consequent glitches. read more

Took my phone in to repair a cracked screen that had happened about 3 weeks prior, when I got the phone back the home button on my phone had been broken and no longer worked. Cracked im sure when the technician removed the original cracked screen. Next time I'll just by a kit to do it myself on amazon for $15. Took my phone into be fixed and am now left with a bigger problem. This place is filled with a bunch off collage kids who have no idea what they are doing! read more

I've had an iPhone for about 3 years now and since I don't pay for the apple warranty, I need to get it fixed by a local store. Ive been to gadget fix about 3 times to get my screen fixed after cracking it and every time I've came in the employees have been friendly and quick to service. However, they use incredibly cheap parts and upswell them dramatically. I was charged around $140 to get my iPhone 6s screen fixed and after 3 days, a weight which was rested on the phone sent a crack down the screen. Any normal part wouldn't have even been phased by this. I decided to deal with it because a little crack doesn't bother me but after 2 days, the screen stopped responding to touch. Now I needed to get the screen fixed. However, I went with Icracked this time. When the technician took my screen off I truly understood how cheap the part was. There were three major things that were pointed out: 1) the adhesive (which makes it sort of water resistant) was completely missing 2) two essential screws were no where to be found 3) the actual glass was the equivalent of a wine glass Now this really upset me. I'm paying a massive fee to get subpar parts? Doesn't seem right. I would strongly recommend using Icracked. They are quick, can meet you anywhere, cheaper, AND the screen comes with a screen protector so you don't have to buy one. I will never go to gadget fix again read more

Something has changed with this company. We have done business several times over the years and had excellent service. Sadly, on our past three visits this month the service has been bottom of the barrel. When you walk in, an employee may reluctantly come to the counter after 4 or 5 minutes. Once they get there, not once have they said hello or been happy to see you. We brought in a tablet that has now been held hostage for just shy of 3 weeks without a single phone call throughout this duration. This the reason we have had to go inside the store 3x to ask what is happening. Employee (first initial A.) never once apologizes for any delay, interrupts you continuously and has a sour attitude about service. They would strongly benefit from having an assistant who only handled customer+communication and leave the moody millennials in the back to work on repairs. read more

Don't walk away. RUN! I came here with a broken screen on my iPhone 6. Unfortunately, I've had broken screens before on my iPhone 4S and other models, so I know the drill, even though this was my first time to this particular company (I moved from out of state and have used other repair companies in previous instances). When I got my replacement screen, something seemed off, however. The screen took extra long to turn off when hitting the power button, but whatever, it's fixed and works so that's all I need. Wrong. Within a day the screen was acting VERY strangely. I touch one spot (let's say I hit the letter "A"), and another area detects touch far away (eg the letter "T"). Right. Okay. So I took my phone back and they offered to replace the screen under warranty. Great! I'll get a good screen then I can rock and roll, right? Wrong. The new screen didn't have any of the above problems, but after two days it had large bubbles of moisture appear under it because it was either installed poorly or is just low quality. But the touch function worked fine, so honestly I didn't care. The screen worked and I quite frankly don't have time to keep going to and from this repair store. Well, a few hours later my phone slide off my sofa and onto the rug. This is about an 18 inch drop, and I have a protective case on it. CRACK my phone shattered in about 5 places -- this for a fall ANY phone should have easily survived. Clearly they're using really poor, substandard parts here (and overcharging for them). I'd avoid this place like the plague. read more

If I could give no stars I would! Had my iPhone screen replaced by these guys. When I picked it up I noticed that the screen was protruding out not how it was before, so I asked the tech that was helping me assured me that I was wrong and that's how it was before. So me being the trustworthy person that I am trusted that they would be honest with me. Boy was i wrong! These a$$ holes forced the screen in so hard that around the speaker of my 2 month old iPhone the day after I had it fixed was so tight it popped the screen around the speaker. When I called about 5 minutes after it broke I was told, "oh yes we can fix that." But when I took it in they told me, "oh no we won't fix that because we don't cover that under warrantee." also they wouldnt refund my money for the shi**y job they did.They admitted that it was possible that they screwed it up but not possible for them to fix it unless I paid another $85.00. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK THEY SCREW YOU OVER AND WILL NOT ADMIT THEY SCREWED THE POOCH! read more

Very bad experience. Came to repair the broken screen of an ipad mini 2, it was done a very bad way (it wasn't very well sealed on the borders). We spoke about it and the guy said they did their best (as there was a very very little crack on the aluminium part) and that it would work. It was 6 months ago and we used it for only 2 months. We are french and we were on a road-trip otherwise I would have accepted it and we would have at least come back to the shop to express our unsatisfaction. We spent 100$ for nothing... I've had a few dealings with Gadget Fix in Bozeman. Twice they replaced the glass of two cellphones. They actually did an ok job, quick turnaround - no complaints. This is the reason when my computer went down, I went to them. They told me it would take about 5 days to fix the problem. After 5 days I started calling them. Each time they would tell me the tech that was working on it only worked part time. They continued to update the date it would be done. But, all those times came and went, with no results. They continued giving me excuses on why it wasn't done; too difficult to fix, it was a big mess, etc. After two months, I told them I wanted it back. When I got it back, one of the disc drives was broken and not useable. I was very frustrated with them. I took it to someone else...and it was fixed in two days and now works great. read more

I however went to them to buy a phone in order to take traveling with me out of the country to be used with Sim cards. The phone worked ONCE in Africa and then never again. Once back in Bozeman I stopped by to see if I could resolve the problem. I was 2 weeks past the warranty and the owner basically said too bad. From a local owner in Bozeman I was hoping for more. My iPad tipped over on my coffee table and cracked the screen. It still worked fine but after two weeks the cracks were still distracting to me so I decided to have it fixed. Having watched our in house tech fix the cracked screen on a different iPad I knew it was difficult to remove the glass without damaging the ribbon cable connection between the screen and the main board so I decided to have it repaired "professionally". I sent in my iPad and after about a week, Gadget Fix called to tell me the crack had damaged the main board where the ribbon cable plugged in and it was unrepairable. I asked them to send it back and was extremely surprised to see that they had replaced the screen, a $225 repair, for free. However my iPad no longer worked correctly. Our in house tech felt rather strongly that they had damaged the connection themselves.Not only did they not charge for the $225 repair but he thought it was highly unlikely that the cracked screen had damaged the main board as it worked perfectly for two weeks afterward (right up until Gadget Fix got a hold of it). I would never use this company again or refer them to friends. If I could give them zero stars I would. read more

After a week I hadn't heard anything so I called again and the assured me that my part would be here in a few days. Another week passed and I left another message.
