It was pretty dead, like its counterparts, but for a Monday, it was expected. Happy hour is 2 for 1 until 8 pm, which is cool. I started with a vodka soda as per Jay the bartender; they also have prosecco on tap, which I haven't heard of before. I decided to try their "Jerk chicken; which took a min to get despite me being the only customer at the bar at 4ish. The wings were drenched with a sauce, kind of like BBQ, and very spicy; the meat was falling off the bones, and it was tasty but nothing "jerk" about it. 8 wings for 15 bucks is not bad. (Reminds me of the wings from 7 eleven). My babes finally showed up, and we continued drinking. I asked Jay which aspect of the bar was supposed to be "Jamaican,"and he responded The monkeys ( two monkey figures fornicating as decor). He said, "he was joking," because someone called him out and proceeded to tell me the owner, when they first opened, had the concept, and now it's just the food. The music is all him, which was just old school hip hop. Despite his distasteful joke, my bf and I finished our drinks and still gave him a tip. His attitude began to change when customers started coming in, and I didn't want to spend any more time there. Needles to say nothing in there is Jamaican. And I won't go back. Would probably only go here for shows when necessary, but would avoid just getting drinks there. Never had a such a bad experience with the customer service to warrant a review before but this one definitely irked.

They were also offering a complimentary whiskey-based cocktail and a scoop of Van Leeuwen ice cream, so a friend and I decided to check it out. The space was brand new, with lots of velvet seating, projectors showing the match at both ends of the room, lush fake greenery throughout, small cocktail tables, and a long bar running along one side. It has an intimate, lounge-like atmosphere, and the sound system was very good. It made for a great sports-watching experience, and I'm sure it would be a fun experience on nights with a dj. Throughout the match, the crowd ebbed and flowed, and it didn't end up feeling too crowded. The complimentary Van Leeuwen ice cream was a nice touch (two flavors to choose from). After the complimentary cocktail, we each ordered another drink, a glass of white wine and a beer, which came to about $30 before tip/tax. Service was friendly throughout, and the bartender was attentive and quick. Overall, it was a fun place to catch the game, and I am curious whether they will continue hosting sports watch parties or if this was just for the opening weekend. Either way, I would be interested in coming back to experience the nightlife scene.

The dance floor area has some seating along the sides, usually reserved for bottle service tables, and there's a side room for more intimate DJ sets. Clean restrooms and fun lighting and details throughout. Staff and management have always been kind and engaging. This is one of my favorite clubs in Manhattan.

I asked "Hi do you guys still have any of the QR codes that were on the bar ? For Campari academy" and this person laughed in my face sneered at me like they were mocking me and said "i don't even know wtf that is" I clarified "oh the Pink QR codes that were all over the bar are they gone ?" Again they repeated " i don't even know what you're even talking about .. so no" The interaction was so rude and really put a bad taste in my mouth I went further and asked "oh yall probably threw them out already" , i asked him "you work for elsewhere right? And not espolon" - he laughed in my face again and said no ... I was trying to be nice and remain positive so I told him "oh you should look into it then! You're a bartender right ? They do lots of free parties and events like this one" His response was so nasty he smiles in my faces and said "yeah I don't wanna do that I don't really care" so I kept my composure because at the end of the day this was an event for all industry professionals, bar owners, bartenders LIQOUR reps, hospitality leaders etc- and this was the demeanor this person had.... I replied "oh you don't care huh? Well the information is there if you want it have a goodnight" and as I was walking away he said "I really don't" This was such an unfortunate and unexpected interaction just a few days short of the NBA playoffs party I attended with NYx Cosmetics at Elsewhere. - I work in hospitality because I genuinely want to be there and I want to give people exciting memorable experiences- not mock them to their face and try to make them feel small...
