This included sawing off vertical wood slats, moving the fridge from our living room where it had been plugged for 3 weeks, hooking up the water line, and moving the fridge into place. Though not cheap, his price was reasonable and we were super happy to have the problem handled efficiently. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

Once you use Handygreen, you'll keep coming back and wish everything else was this easy. Personal Story: I live in an old Northwest home. The wiring is old and complicated. I bought a chandelier and wanted it hung, but the mounting equipment did not match the old wiring set-up. Due to my great stroke of luck in hiring Dan, he was able to grind the hardware down to mount the chandelier. If it had been anyone else, the job would likely have included paying for a trip to Lowes etc. But Dan has an enormous brain and is an impressive problem solver! In July 2025, we needed a handyman as our regular handyman was busy with a large project. After…read moredoing some research and interviewing, we hired The Handy Nevadan to do several small projects in the home we had just purchased. The owner, Julio, worked with us on price (thank you for the military discount!) and after the scope of work and cost were agreed upon, he and Ty began work the same day and returned the next day to finish the jobs. They removed a TV bracket from a wall, removed a built-in desk, filled holes/sanded/ and painted three walls, checked something in the attic, and added new baseboard to the section of wall where the desk was removed. Overall, they did a good job, making sure the paint had clean lines and being respectful of our property (it was a bit challenging as we were still moving in and there were boxes and belongings strewn about). The only negatives were that Ty arrived about 45 minutes later than expected the second day and although they closed the door to the room that had to be sanded before painting, I wish they had thrown drop cloths over the items in the room as they were covered with dust when they finished and it took some time for me to clean it all. Even with that, we would hire them again if our regular handyman is unavailable - they're work was professional and quality-grade.

He told me it would be $85 for him to come out and provide a quote. One of the jobs involved cutting vent holes in my crawlspace, which seemed outside his usual scope, so I asked if he could also quote a few additional projects I needed help with. He agreed and even mentioned we could get started the following week. I paid the $85, and he left on great terms & excited to get started on some projects. After that, I followed up multiple times--six attempts in total--simply asking if he was still interested or either way if you could let me know. I never received a response. All I was asking for is a little common courtesy after paying him. Being ignored after payment and led to believe work would move forward is extremely unprofessional. I would strongly recommend finding someone else.
