I visited The Bone Store on Caldwell in Visalia CA on 2/23/2026 to purchase a compression sleeve…read morefor an injured wrist. When I arrived there were three customers in the store and one sales associate, Hector (Ceja), in attendance. Hector was helping a customer (couple) with compression stockings but acknowledged me, asked if I needed help and directed me to the right section. Then he went to help another customer who was inquiring about beds and complaining about prices. Hector was patient in trying to explain about the products and service available, the whole while the customer was online checking Amazon and complaining. Why that person didn't just leave and buy online, I have no clue. The store was well stocked and clean. I found the prices reasonable for the products and quality very good to high for the items I was interested in. Hector was courteous and efficient in checking me out despite seeming a bit distressed about the complaining customer's loud diatribe. He told me about a sale that would be starting up and gave me business cards. My brother-in-law wears compression stockings so I gave the information to my sister. They have shopped Amazon for compression stockings but find that they stretch out and deteriorate fairly quickly thus requiring repurchase. I suggested they check out the products at The Bone Store. I also did online research BEFORE going into the store and what I found was cheaper, but also of inferior quality. Ultimately, 'cheaper' often means repeated purchases costing more over time. I would recommend to any one looking for medical grade equipment to do thorough research, including an in-store visit to determine needs and economy. I will be returning to the store to consider other options for the injury I have. I do recommend The Bone Store on Caldwell in Visalia CA.

Singularly difficult to work with, from my experience they appear to be a company more interested…read morein making as much money as possible than in actually providing a needed services and being compensated for it, as an upstanding business would be. When an issue came up they assigned a person to call me, but unfortunately that person was not actually capable of communicating with us due to their heavy accent that rendered the overwhelming majority of their speech incomprehensible. Rather than seek a way to bridge this gap however Apria - either by virtue of the people handling my situation or their company's policies - wrote me off entirely, running through what was clearly a standard script that I unfortunately could not understand. The same person called back and repeated the experience with an equal lack of care for actually communicating the situation. I was then sent to collections, from whom I learned that there was a bill I owed (news to me at the time). And now, I have learned they won't sell me supplies because of a situation entirely of their creation. Do NOT do business with this company if at ALL possible.
