I think I was caught in a moment of weakness due to my grief and sadly was taken advantage of during the sale of my late Mother's hospital bed. First of all Jacob never told me how much he would be offering for the bed; instead he said the delivery guy would make sure it worked and would call him and he in turn would call me to discuss the amount. Due to my mourning this was the first time I had been in my Mother's bedroom and it was a difficult time to say the least so the delivery guy came in looked at it had me sign asked me a few questions and handed me an envelope. $150 for a bed that is worth over $1000!! Ray Fisher; You don't even rent out beds for $150 and your cheapest bed for sale is well over $1000!!! The delivery guy was there I was stressed being in her room seeing her empty bed and I was flabbergasted and in disbelief and didn't know what else to do but I knew I wanted the bed moved out because keeping it was too difficult. Marco helped us find a motorized scooter for my aging mother. It is not often that you find someone who will sell you only the best. He emphasized several times that another scooter would have a full warranty, and he allowed my mom to test ride that one for a while. He was super patient, answered my mom's repetitive questions, and even noticed it was her birthday. Great customer service, an amazing sense of humor, and a heart of gold - Marco is exceptional and did get my mom the best deal on the scooter she chose. My mother is wheelchair bound and the unit she was using just stopped working. I was frantic to find a chair to rent while the current unit was being repaired. When I called, the store had no rentals available until Monday. But the gentleman mentioned he had some used units. He sent me pictures of what was in stock. My husband went on hospice Thursday they called in morphine at 8am. It did not arrive until 10:30pm. On Sunday the nurse called in more at 9am. As hospice has a special contract with them for Sunday deliveries. They were told it was a very high priority. Ray Fisher told us we would receive the meds by 12PM. My husband died at 5:30pm in pain because the delivery never came. They called at 9:15pm asking if they could deliver on Monday. I told him he died. Monday they called again two more times. Every time they were told he had passed. Why would you want to trust Ray Fisher Pharmacy with your loved one's life? There was no reason for my husband to die in pain. read more

Reasonable price to rent a wheelchair for a week. Convenient and easy. Friendly staff and I appreciated the young woman who handled my rental and even helped me load the wheelchair into my car. Only frustration was that they were unwilling to let me reserve the wheelchair in advance, and only after pressing them a bit, did they agree to hold one for me for 24 hours if I called the day before. This added some unnecessary stress, as my visit with my mother for the weekend would have been severely hampered if a wheelchair was not available. We called on 11/22/22 and stated we wanted to purchase our scooter rental. They then charged the rental fee to our card 3 days later even though we were purchasing it. Now Gina is trying to say we didn't say we were purchasing it and that only half of what we paid goes to the purchase price! That's absurd! Today, they charged our card the rental price AGAIN, now totaling more than what we even owed. I came in to speak to them about it and they argued with me that the total price was $50 higher than what shows on their site and that we still even owed over $100 more! I showed them their site right now and they still argued with me! They went to look and realized they were wrong so she reprinted the "quote." The scooter costs $1,150 and we have now paid $1,303.98 including the unauthorized charges! They overcharged me by $153.98 and owe me yet Gina laughed and walked off that "contract trumps everything!" How unprofessional! I'm not sure what the contract has anything to do with them overcharging me but I definitely wouldn't recommend purchasing anything here! Considering a large percentage of their customers would be elderly people, I wouldn't doubt they've taken advantage of a lot of people! They'll charge your card and then say you never said something because they think it's their word over ours. We more than paid for the scooter and they will not get another dime out of us! read more

I just had one of the most incredible experiences that was totally unexpected but really speaks to the longevity of this institutional business. I had a problem with my very old CPAP machine and I checked out a couple of different supply places and the general attitude behind these places was no I can't solve your problem. I really didn't know if anybody was going to be able to but when I went here I had two people help me out the first one pointed me to Scott and Scott took it from there. I needed a cord and charger that did not seem even possible to find. And Scott went the extra mile and went back and found an old bucket that had what I needed in it. ...had a last-minute need for a friend that required a shower-chair. the Manager on Duty was enormously helpful, she discussed options (a care facility had just cleaned the store out,) so she even gave me a list of local suppliers. ((I did wind up buying at another store (now out of business.)) '...but they didn't have what you wanted...' -well, in their defense, -nobody- plans on a care facility buying everything they have in stock -and- i had a very tight deadline. (they were restocked within days, actually.) -what this business DID provide, and has -always- had? Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate staff who puts the care of others -first- (-the attitude was to 'get my friend what they needed -when- they needed it '-not- 'making a sale for themself (with an ill-fitting substitute,' (and that's huge.) I recommend them for direct care needs, they have great pricing on supplies and clearly are supportive to Care givers. How these folks have consistently been, each time i've gone in?, is the reason -why- so many choose Direct Care of others (someone is in need / somebody wants to help / they know what they're doing -and- they'll outfit the situation as quickly as possible (all in a very friendly atmosphere.) Support this store, i mean, you can find equipment and supplies from a variety of sources -but- (the great pricing not even factoring in,) it's rare that you have such talented and caring staff under one roof -and accessible- to the general public. read more

They may have equipment that you need for terminally ill family but the process and customer service is so lacking. They all sound bored and like they are having conversations with each other while "helping" the customers. I went on a day over 100 degrees and no air on in the building but they had fans pointed on the staff. How nice is that for them. read more

Young lady in charge of mastectomy bras and prostheses was rude and condescending. Complaining she could not possibly see me that day, and waved all her paperwork at me. She knew nothing about my insurance, but suddenly out of the blue she tells me where I could go that did take my mysterious insurance. Had outpatient surgery on my right ankle on 4/12/2020, and was told, when I woke up in recovery, that my right leg was on "no weight bearing" status. I had done pretty good pre- surgery preparation because I live alone, but had definitely not prepared myself for mandatory shut-in. I quickly made decisions about in-home mobility and, thankfully, Monica at Ray Fisher Pharmacy was my contact; the knee scooter Monica arranged for my rental is awesome, and lifts my spirits every time I feed my dog or move throughout my house safely, and definitely more quickly than with crutches. I also purchased a cast sleeve because I'll need to brave bathing at some time before my follow up appointment in two weeks. Today I called to discuss an issue getting my rental deposit back. First of all it shouldn't be a charge, they should just put the money on hold in case you fail to return the rental. When I spoke to the manager I was told not to call and it could take 14 days to get my deposit back, then she hung up on me. She was very rude and unprofessional.
