I recently scheduled a follow-up appointment with him for a touch-up. As the appointment date approached, the time was changed without any explanation, which was already inconvenient because I had taken the day off work specifically for this appointment. I then drove 58 miles--over an hour--to the studio to see Uriel specifically. When I arrived, I was informed by the employees that he was not there due to an emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and that was not the issue. What was disappointing was the lack of communication and follow-up afterward. One of the employees was kind enough to perform the touch-up for me, which I appreciated, but it was not the experience I had scheduled or driven there for. I made the trip specifically to have the work done by Uriel. Even after the appointment, I received no follow-up message or apology. As someone who has supported Uriel's work for years and has remained a loyal client through his move from Hollywood to his new studio, I found the lack of communication and consideration extremely disappointing. I believe longtime clients deserve basic courtesy and communication, especially when they have gone out of their way to support an artist over the years
