The whole experience was great from start to finish, and you can tell she truly cares about her craft. I have been getting tattooed by Uriel Leon for years and have remained a loyal client, even…read morefollowing him from his previous studio in Hollywood to his current location. I recently scheduled a follow-up appointment with him for a touch-up. As the appointment date approached, the time was changed without any explanation, which was already inconvenient because I had taken the day off work specifically for this appointment. I then drove 58 miles--over an hour--to the studio to see Uriel specifically. When I arrived, I was informed by the employees that he was not there due to an emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and that was not the issue. What was disappointing was the lack of communication and follow-up afterward. One of the employees was kind enough to perform the touch-up for me, which I appreciated, but it was not the experience I had scheduled or driven there for. I made the trip specifically to have the work done by Uriel. Even after the appointment, I received no follow-up message or apology. As someone who has supported Uriel's work for years and has remained a loyal client through his move from Hollywood to his new studio, I found the lack of communication and consideration extremely disappointing. I believe longtime clients deserve basic courtesy and communication, especially when they have gone out of their way to support an artist over the years

I found Evan after searching for way too many hours online. I wanted a great tattoo artist that was…read moreskilled and able to do clean straight lines. As a perfectionist I did not want anything on my body forever that wasn't exactly what I wanted. My first tattoo experience with Evan was great. I e-mailed him giving him details of what I wanted and pictures. He responded right away and we discussed exactly what I wanted. Booking a date and time was super easy, I let him know a few dates and times that I was available and he was able to accommodate one of those. When I walked into the shop for my first tattoo from him I was very impressed by the cleanliness and organization. There were a few chairs lined up on each side with the equipment right next to them. The walls were nicely decorated with tattoo framed pictures and artwork done by the artists. They have a little seating area with books of the artwork/tattoos that the artists have done. There is also a TV and another bench, so you will never have to stand around waiting if you don't want to. They also have a little desk to the left as soon as you walk in. He showed me his sketch of the tattoo idea I wanted, army style stars with water color splotches of black, green and blue with my sons initials in each star on my right shoulder blade. To say the least, I was very impressed as he improved the picture I sent him greatly. This was the first watercolor style tattoo he has done, but I wasn't that concerned as his other work was amazing. The tattoo didn't take that long and it was amazing, better than I had envisioned. The watercolor splotches were perfect. I think I stared at it for days in the mirror as I was so in love with it. I also wanted a smaller wrist tattoo that I came back a few months later for (2/21/17). I sent him the font that I wanted and described it to him. When I came in I wanted a few changes to be done and he did them no problem and it looked perfect. I had the word Love tattooed on my wrist with the O as a heart. The lines are so straight and everything was filled in just as it should be. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found Evan. I will not go to any other tattoo artist, ever! If he ever moves shops, you better believe I will be following him. Tattoos are on your body forever and they should be just the way you want them. Evan has been able to sketch and tattoo exactly what I wanted. I am beyond impressed with his skills. My husband liked my tattoos so much he set up an appointment with him to start on a sleeve. While I understand some people don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a tattoo, you want quality. Evan's prices are great in my opinion. He could probably charge way more due to the quality of his work. I had no problem whatsoever paying his prices, especially after my first tattoo and how perfect it was. If you are looking for an amazing tattoo artist, look no further than Evan Weidner. You will not regret it, I promise.

I had been wanting a tattoo for a while, but was so undecided on what I wanted to have done. All I…read morereally knew was I wanted to be significant and have meaning. It's so hard to find a good artist now a days. Tattooing is a fad and sometime these so called "artists" slip in the field for the wrong reasons. Needless to say I was referred to an amazing artist recently. If you are in the SoCal area and looking for someone who is genuinely talented, has amazing customer service and people skills, very efficient and professional, who is all around a genuine down to earth person you need to get in touch with Evan Weidner. I explained to Evan what idea I had in mind, it didn't take much explaining, he grasped the concept and knew exactly what I wanted. He draws all his pieces himself so they are unique to his style, true art. Needless to say, my experience with him tonight was great. Now that I am a mommy to a beautiful angel I had the best reason to get a new tattoo done by a real artist! I chose to have a matryoshka doll, also known as Russian Doll refers to a set of wooden dolls decreasing size placed one inside another. Evan made my idea a reality! I am so in love with my piece. I cannot wait for more. I will be returning to Evan no doubt and referring everyone I know to him. -Bernadette IMG_8020.JPG
