I had a *really bad experience* with my piercing. After the piercing was done, the piercer said he messed up the angle and I had to get him to take the jewelry out of my ear. He spent the next 5 minutes cleaning off blood from my ear and saying rude things like "this is what I get for coming in on my day off". This entire experience was deeply upsetting and I left the studio in tears because I was in pain and my ear was bleeding. There was also no one there to help or comfort me in the situation and I was very disappointed. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

I recently got a septum piercing from the woman (Jax) there who is a piercer. I left it in for 3 weeks but it still never felt right. I recently got another opinion and had to take it out. The piercer at this shop did not pierce it high enough. I cleaned it daily and didn't have too many problems, but it never felt right or looked right. I do not recommend getting pierced here. On a side note she pierced my nose 3 times just to get this piercing right. Even though it still ended up being wrong. Yes, 3 times.. she did pierce it through extra skin, but she couldn't find my sweet spot it seems. Which is usually higher up for people. I have a feeling she is new and learning, but it's so important to get a piercing right. Here's the photos of my septum before I took it out (sorry for the scab this was right before I cleaned it). Also here's a photo from online at the end that demonstrates how one is done wrong and then done right. Jax was a very sweet girl and even though she tried 3 times I think she just needs more experience and I won't be going back to be pierced by this shop, again. I haven't had tattoos done here, but if you want a piercing I'd go somewhere else for sure. I had a very kind guy do my tattoo I believe his name was Chavo. I had booked an appointment for earlier that day to get a decently simple tattoo. My tattoo was done very poorly, I could tell the guy was very new but willing to give him a chance there is only one way to get better. But everyone in the shop just watched him struggle for two hours and never helped him or fixed my tattoo. It should've had shading which was never done. They were supposed to be curved lines and they were jagged. I don't blame someone new who is starting but I do believe the buisness should not leave there costumers like that. It is still the buisness reputation not just one person. I now still have to pay somewhere else to fix my tattoo and I still need to get my second one that I refused to do there after what happened. I came here to get my very first tattoo on Friday the 13th and I'm not happy. I wanted three simple triangles with thin lines, with the top triangle colored in. I didn't get that. I got three uneven triangles and a partially filled top triangle. While I was getting the tattoo, the artist made a comment about my skin not taking the ink well and said something along the lines of "oh well is this from that stuff? Mela- hmmm melamim?" He meant melanin - the melanin in my skin affecting the way my skin took to the ink; meaning he's likely never tattooed a black person/someone of color and he was freaking out at the way my skin had reacted (he later confirms this via text). He freaked out while doing the uneven tattoo on my arm and continued to permanently mark me with this horrible take on my request. To add insult to injury, he confirms he freaked out and continued to tattoo me that night which is not okay. I 100% would have preferred he stopped tattooing me if he couldn't handle my skin. The offered resolution was to cashapp me and re-touch my tattoo + offered to give me a free tattoo which is cool, however he already confirmed he doesn't know how to work with my skin and I'm not confident in his ability to tattoo after reviewing his work on Instagram. After texting with the artist I found that this place would not be able to rectify my issue as I live too far to come back and get tattooed, none of their artists would effectively be able to fix my tattoo, and ultimately the comment about the melanin in my skin pissed me off. Attached is my tattoo and one of my friend's who got tattooed by another artist at another shop. My lines are not clean - they're blown out and the saturation isn't there. 10/10 not happy with my first tattoo experience and would recommend you take a look at the shop's Instagram before going in to get tattooed by anyone in this shop. read more

Worst experience ever. Went to their Friday 13th event. We got there at 630pm and we expected the wait that was not the issue here. We were told that it would be an hour and a half. We waited an hour and checked up to see how everything was going and how much longer we can expect. Somehow we moved from the middle of the group to the bottom. We saw many people come after us and get in the chair before us. Including a group of kids who did not have cash or art ready. So they sat there while their friend went to go get cash from skating plus. So after being told your next for 4 hours, the kid at the front desk finally says the artists are picking their customers. I also dont think a picture of your ID from your phone is valid. But who knows. read more

I liked the way that he was very generous, friendly, patient, and calm making the experience of getting a tattoo from him. I would highly recommend going to him anytime. I went to get my septum pierced today. My boyfriend and I stood in the front for 10 minutes while everybody in there ignored us. I had to call the store while I was in it to get somebody's attention and finally they had us wait 15 more minutes for a piercer to arrive. Btw, I had called earlier and they said to just walk in, no appointment necessary. Then, when the piercer got there, he was very friendly, but he didn't clean my nose, he marked it with a pen which is weird for a septum piercing, let me repeat HE DID NOT CLEAN MY NOSE, and he did it so fast, I had no idea he was going to pierce it yet cuz HE DIDNT CLEAN MY NOSE YET. He gave me no instruction on aftercare, there were no products offered or suggested, I STILL TIPPED HIM $10. The lady on the phone said it was a $50 piercing. He said it was $70. I gave him $80. All in all, the piercing looks great but this entire experience was very shady and frustrating. It was also 86 degrees INSIDE the store. It's still only the same day and I've cleaned it myself and done some research and proper aftercare, so let's just hone it doesn't get infected..... read more

Came in just to buy a nose piercing because I had lost mine, my nose hole was half way closed but Jacqueline was able to re open it and only charged me for the nose piercing because it was a simple fix I ended giving her more money that what she charged for because other places would have charged for the re opening of my nose ! Terrible. If I could rate zero I would. Went and spent $1k on ink there PREPAID. And got told to keep coming back to finish my work. The artist, lefty, eventually bailed three times and ghosted me before I went into the shop myself and demanded my work be finished. The rest of the shop shit talked him with me while they finished me, which I tipped for the inconvenience that was never my fault to begin with. I was told he was "not going to be working there anymore" after the drama went down, and decided to give specifically "uncle Rodger" a second chance since I liked the work he did on me for his coworker who decided to not show up. Went back again for a Friday the 13th event and they had in fact NOT fired "Lefty". He came out on a walker for his gimpy leg and no mask starting drama and shit talking around everyone breathing in their space during a pandemic. Seriously. This place is a joke. To let someone continue to work after providing such TERRIBLE business and then come out like a fool and not follow National COVID guidelines makes both the company as a whole and that guy look absolutely insane. Will never go back. "Management" didn't bat and eyelash at his unprofessional, unruly behavior and even didn't mind making it known they didn't need my business.
