The girl was definitely knowledgeable about the piercings and how much pain it causes. She made me feel comfortable & calm totally recommend this place.

Can't complain , it is hard to find but really great artists. I can say Horacio is my guy. Good prices , finishes really fast. Took 4 hours for this piece he is very nice. Polite , we talk nice and clean shop. I mean 5 star all the way that's it by appointment , they take walk ins sometimes.

She pierced the lower cartilage ring. Gold ring is from Etsy, it was originally pierced with a silver ring.

Clean and friendly, but I wasn't happy with my placement. We got there when the piercer was on her way out but she was super nice and got set up again to pierce me and my friend's ears. I got a second cartilage piercing (the lower one in the pic). I had gotten it done at a different place before this but it didn't align with my first piercing so I took it out and let it heal. This time I made sure to ask the piercer to place it so the two cartilage rings would be parallel but as you can see in the pic they are at different angles even though they're the same size ring. Overall they were extremely considerate, friendly, clean, and reasonably priced, and you'd definitely be fine getting regular piercings but I don't think they are experienced enough to know how to place more intricate piercings. Sorry to leave a negative review because they were so nice and stayed open late for us and gave us stickers.

Been wanting a few piercings fOr a while and a spur of the moment trip resulted in a very happy customer x2. Sal did the 2nd earlobe piercing for me and my daughter. Then I got 2 forward helix piercings and my daughter got a middle helix. In a little pain but worth it!

I hardly venture out to the St. Johns Hospital area because it is seriously too annoying (if you…read moredon't like getting stuck in traffic for 10 hours). I was invited to attend an event at the Artist Cantine to meet some organizations. So I went, I went with my coworker! The invitation said it was going to be in an art gallery, so that was very interesting. I love going to art galleries, so I was really OK with going to to this event (No offense to other events). OK so the art gallery is located in a strip mall call the Palms ( former Oxnard Outlets). The only times I've ventured out to this center is for my US citizen fingerprints, class for Cal Lutheran, and to buy furniture, however it's very easy to just zoom pass this shopping center because of locatioin wise (you can't get more awkward than tha). OK so I finally found the gallery, the exterior looked really cool, clean, open, relaxed, etc. People who were hosting the event were there, they had wine, hummus, crackers, cheese, and other H'orderves . When I arrived I was like wow! I knew I made a good choice deciding to come, the walls were full of art, interesting art. Art that I actually saw my self in. The owner of the art Gallery gave a speech about his gallery and why he opened it. It looks like he loves art, has passion for it, and therefore he worked hard to open the gallery. He also explained of the events that they are going to start hosting next year "Bohemian Nights." which are going to be cultural events i.e dancing, singing etc. Apparently the owner also invites the artist who post the art, so they can come and talk to the people who are interested. So I'll be keeping up with their website ,to see when artist are coming and what art I can snatch (buy). Which artist are here? Wow I was surprise to see some art from artist that are pretty known, i.e. Lalo Garcia. The owner said that he has art in the Los Angeles Cathedral, Our Lady Of Our Lady of Angels. Very surprise to hear that, it's not very common where you stumble upon art galleries in Oxnard (very rare) so this was a good fresh air! So why 4 stars. I don't like the location, it's really hidden, in a shopping mall that (if it was up to me, I would avoid). But I am going to try to make the effort to try and come here. However, all in all, a great find!

The space is home to 30+ local artists working in painting, ceramics, photography, jewelry, and more. In addition to artist studios, Bells offers youth art classes, artist-led workshops, and cultural programming including Ballet Folklórico, Aztec Dance, and yoga (Monday-Friday) with a suggested donation, making wellness and movement accessible to everyone. I've personally attended donation-based sound baths and their Día de Muertos event, and both were thoughtfully organized, welcoming, and grounded in community and cultural respect. The value here is undeniable. You are getting high-quality programming, meaningful cultural experiences, and direct support of local artists and educators, all without high price barriers. Parking is available in a small lot on site, though spaces are limited. Street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood. They also host First Fridays, which are always a great way to experience the space, meet artists, and support local creativity. Everything here feels intentional and community-driven. If you're looking for an affordable, enriching space that truly invests back into the community, Bells Art Factory is absolutely worth visiting and donating to.

Those are the positives and that's where it ends. Let's start with the main product, coffee. It's HORRIBLE! I could be snarky and insulting but I kind of feel bad for them. I've tried a few drinks and there is this crazy after taste that is simply unpleasant. The baked goods are hot and miss at best. Often dry and tasteless. Now, the staff. Over the years they've had some wonderful people, but the good ones don't seem to stay more than a few months. For whatever reason they retain anyone devoid of personality and energy. Product knowledge is virtually nonexistent. Enthusiasm? You'd think that the caffeine would wake them up, but no. It's like they are on heroin. I've interacted with someone who I'm told was the owner, but I can't imagine someone so blah and uninterested decided to open a coffee shop. This place has potential if they simply replace the coffee, staff, and sell to someone who actually cares.

I came for a gala event over the weekend where they rented this space and was excited to check it out. There is plenty of parking as they have their own lot and we also were fine with parking across the street in the free two hour parking spots. The art center is small but a great way to see local art and pottery. They do have single stalls bathrooms inside the studio which is appreciated. It also looked like in one room they had jewelry for sale but I didn't give it a proper look as I was more focused on the artwork and decor. The reason for the docked star is simply because we wandered in as a part of an event that had rented the space and thus there wasn't a whole lot of art on display. What appeared to be up is their around the year collectibles and some small art work pieces. It's definitely better to plan ahead to come here when they are actually running an art exhibit or have an event specific to the art center. At least we got to check it out and have an idea about the space now. Very cool to have a place like this in Camarillo and eager to check them out again in the future so I can leave an updated review.
