Terrible experience. I got a pedicure with a simple French tip. An older lady that wears a bump in her hair did my toes. Usually people get a base color before the French tip. I was told that a base color would be $10 extra dollars plus an extra $6 dollars for the French tip. I've never experienced anything like this before. I wouldn't recommend this place if you value quality and cleanliness. It's a bit rundown and my nail tech who performed my pedicure was inexperienced. She told me she couldn't file down acrylic and I had to keep a lump in my toenail. My pedicure looked like an elementary school child did it. I used to go to this salon often, mostly for the convenience but I must say I'm so very disappointed in their service!!! recently I came in one day and requested a service and one of the nail techs told me it can't be done. ok no problem can I make an appointment for tomorrow. she said we don't take appointments. I asked if certain nail techs would be in the next day for a possible walk in and she brushed me off. so the next day I came into to try to do a walk in. same lady from the day before sees I walk in but no one asked what services I would like or even a greeting. That same tech came to the front desk to get something and was about to walk away. I had been waiting to ask for a service about 10 mins at that point. and the salon was not even half packed. I walked to her and asked is there time to do a service and she quickly said no. I asked is there anytime at all within the business hours and she repeated no. just no customer service or eye contact even. just going about her way without telling me any type of information about how I could get a service even if it was on another day. it was at that point I realized they just didn't want my business so I won't be returning. there work is mediocre to begin with. I mostly went there for the convenience of location. and their prices continue to fluctuate. one day a fill in is one price and another day it's higher. So a few months ago, I got SNS nails at GT nails. The person did a horrible job and the owner gave me a partial refund. I went today for a pedicure in S&S, hopefully with a different technician. They remembered me from months ago and said they could not guarantee S&S. I said you don't know how to do it? And she said the last time you were here you didn't like it so we can't guarantee it. That really just means you don't know what you're doing. I asked if the person who knows how to do it was there and could do my SNS, and they said no she was not in today.? Good news is I shouldn't have gone anyway so I will go and get my nails done right by someone who knows what they are doing. read more

This shop is fast and efficient. My regular shop was packed so I gave them a try. The prices are decent and most of the staff is friendly. I'm not sure if they have options for pedicure types because I was not offered any, just given a pedicure, which was mmm, a bit above sub par. Would go again in a pinch. read more

I am 9 months pregnant and was warm so I put the small fan facing me, and was told I could not do that. Lol! After waiting an hour for a fill in. Wonder how much different my experience would have been had I been white and visibly pregnant. Horrible!!! Absolutely!! I explained that I wanted a traditional French manicure. Ignore that he put the already made French manicure tips on. I said okay this is fine what does have to put a glaze over it I was sitting there waiting for him to get through he said come with me come with me and I said Wait I wanted a glaze . He told me I would get it. He took me to the drying area. My nails dried he already was working on somebody else I asked him if he was done with me he said yes. When I went up there to check out, I told him that he did very bad business that this was not what I wanted at all that I asked him for a glaze. He denied me ! Told him that the money was not a issue. I told him he did horrible business very bad business and he laughed at me. They are the worst place around even though they're down the street from me cheap prices I do not care I've never had a business owner laugh at me. I voiced this concern when I was leaving and even gave him a 20 dollar tip because like I told him I work hard for my money and work for tips and he needed to understand that is not how I treat people . The customer service and quality of service has steadily declined since they opened 15 years ago. I used to come here often but after one bad experience after another-- careless cuticle work leading to cuts on my feet, burns on my face from wax that was too hot-- I stopped going. And encouraged my mother who goes here regularly bc of the convenience to also stop going. The facility has not had a deep cleaning in years. No upgrades have occurred in years. It is simply sub par. I made an appointment recently to get a deluxe pedicure and was rudely told I needed to wait 30 minutes. I had a plane to catch which is the only reason I made the appointment-- out of convenience. I asked for a manicure and gel polish. nails were not properly manicured and gel polish not properly applied. The nail tech told me it was my fault. Slow service and you do not have one specific nail tech you are rotated between a man and who ever he designates. Some of them could not apply nails at all. Oh there is no sign up sheet when you come in and it's based on the honor system. As a previous reviewer said they left my hands to soak in pure warm acetone for 15 minutes. Never get your nails done at this place. I came to get a gel manicure out of convenience but will never EVER patronize again!!! I used to be a manicurist but as busy as my schedule is, I never have time to do my own so from time to time I'll go to Bally Nails on South Cobb, which is fabulous by the way Anyway, out of convenience I went to GT nails located on Veterans Memorial in Mableton, GA and left out before the woman could finish the service. Like most gel manicures, they put cotton balls, along with aluminum foil on your nailbed to remove the gel from previous set. At GT Nails, because they appear to be extremely lazy, they soak your fingers in a manicure bowl up to your knuckles in PURE ACETONE to remove gel (that was also sitting in another bowl of hot water that was burning my fingers as well). That can't be legal!! When I asked her why this method, she said nothing!! I then stated, " I'm not comfortable with you doing my nails" and again, she said nothing!! I took my hands out of the acetone, asked how much for the soak off, gave her $5 and left. It took everything out of me not to snap out but I took the high road. My fingers looked like chalk as I walked out. Are you freggin kidding me??? Do you ladies realize that it's enough that we get gel and acrylic already, just to turn around and have our fingers marinating for 15 minutes in PURE ACETONE!! BS Too much exposure to chemicals! People who complain about wait times need to realize they have lots of customers and most come after work or weekends. It should be expected to have to wait a little. I've been coming here for almost a year now and I am very happy! As soon as you walk in, the gentleman who's always sitting at the very front will ask you what service you'd like. If he's busy when you walk in, he is always sure to get right with you ASAP. I have finally selected my favorite nail tech...Annie! She's a sweetheart. Her husband works there also and if I'm not mistaken, I think he's the gentleman that's my 2nd favorite. They also do a great job on eyebrows! Everything was going well until the technician walks away from me while my hands are in plastic bags with lotion awaiting the manicure to work on another client that is getting a wax job.
