I absolutely love G's Shop everyone here is so friendly and they always take the time to make sure your hair is cut exactly to your preference. I've been going her for 10 years and they do a great job. This used to be my hidden gem of a barber shop, but people caught on because they are so good at what they do. Their set up is super accommodating TVs and music. They can pretty much cut any style. They also have many barbers working usually which really helps. This place is freaking awesome. I've been coming here for about 8 years, way back when they had a pool table and only like 4 barber seats. I moved to Moreno Valley and still make the commute out here for my haircuts. I make my appointments with Dino. I walk in looking like Bob from La Bamba and walk out looking like a straight Ricky Martin. The people who do write bad reviews here have only visited this place once. I've been a customer here for 2 years and I can relate at first to those who write bad reviews, but there are always solutions. Pro: Each barber has their own technique and style. It takes time to find the right one for you. They dedicate more than 30 minutes... I've seem them take an hour or more, but that's because they are dedicated. (one reason why the wait is long but they are great at what they do). Friendly staff, multiple TVS, chairs, sofas and news articles. They have a sign-in sheet at the front counter. Cons: Since they take a while to cut hair, as a result, the wait can last you between 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. That depends on the day and how many people are waiting before you. Not everyone has followed the new system of the sign-in sheet. As a result, making it difficult to tell who will be next so be attentive. The solution(s) to these bad first time reviewers is to come either in the morning, or during the weekdays or make an appointment...the weekends are usually the busiest. AND BE ATTENTIVE WHILE WAITING DON'T BE AFRAID TO SPEAK UP read more

They always do a great job on my son. I love the fact that they take their time and do it right. They get pretty busy on the weekends so I recommend going during the week if you don't want to wait. Also, for everyone complaining about being greeted...this isn't a salon. They don't need a receptionist. I just greet them when I arrive with my son and wait for the next available barber. My husband is usually the one who takes our son on the weekend and he always calls ahead to check the wait. They just get really busy and they like to take their time with each customer. read more

I've been going to this barber shop for over a year. Yes sometimes there is a long wait. But it's always worth it. some people do get skipped because they forget to sign their name. It's not the shops fault. And if you are one of those people who get upset about having someone go before you because they walked in with an appointment well then pay the extra few dollars so you can walk out of there on time. All the guys there are capable and able and efficient barbers. I never pick one in particular because they are all professionals. They always go out of their way to meet your needs. Today I brought in my elderly difficult father in a wheelchair for a haircut and a beard trim and they removed one of the chairs out of the way so they can cut his hair on his wheelchair. what's up Gio! Best barbershop in the area, been coming here for 2 years. I still make time to drive over 20 miles to get my hair cut here because no other shops in my area that i moved to are as good. It has a really relaxed atmosphere and vibe inside, barbers are real chill too. There isnt a paper to sign or receptionist to talk to (this isn't supercuts lol) but the barbers wont ignore you, and you just got to keep track of who was there when you got there and who comes after you. My first and last time going here... I walked in Saturday morning to no greeting. There is no receptionist or greeter whatsoever. No place to sign in or write your name on a list. I sat down and after 20 minutes of waiting without anyone noticing me and no idea when I would get a cut, I left. Let me start off with what I actually liked about this place. It has a great atmosphere, movie posters hanging, a pool table, flat screens with Sports Center playing and a large open area. Right up my alley! It seemed like this was going to be my new regular barbershop that I would frequent. It wasn't until I was waiting where I noticed something that just didn't feel right. It wasn't the actual wait that bugged me because the wait wasn't long at all. I noticed that one of the barbers (out of 3 that day) was constantly ON HIS PHONE while cutting another customer's hair. He would pull his phone out, back to cutting, back to his phone, back to cutting. When it came to be my turn, Mr. iPhone took me in next and he did the same damn thing to me. Even worse was that he turned my chair so that my back was against the mirror. I couldn't even watch him cut my hair! A good barbershop will have mirrors on both sides of the walls, but not this one! It's ridiculous that they have only one mirror on one side and they don't even let the customer use it. So I was completely in the dark and hoping he was doing a decent job. I didn't want to be an annoying customer, so I allowed him to continue. At one point during my cut, (remember I cant see what he's doing), nothing is happening. Seriously, nothing, and for like 30-40 seconds too. I turn my head so I can see in the corner of my eye, and SURE ENOUGH, this guy is texting right behind me. He did it several times as well just like the previous customer. He did cut my hair the way I asked and it was decently priced, I'll give them that. But this place is absolutely not worth my time nor money anymore. No way am I returning. It's a shame because I live around the corner. I would much rather drive down to my regular barbershop in San Dimas, pay a little extra and get superb service. This was garbage. If I'm paying you money so you can get a paycheck every month, it won't kill you to be a little bit friendly and not leave my hair half cut while you text. What a joke. read more
