Now I'm coming up on 3 years of being a member here, and even recently took my 250th class (a celebrated milestone in the Pure Barre world) and I have this incredible studio and community to thank! The studio owner, Jenenne, and her team are so welcoming and encouraging! They've cultivated a really positive and uplifting environment! It makes it easy to want to keep coming back when you feel supported and motivated (and getting to wear and collect cute grippy socks helps too)!! Each class type is a guided 50 minute workout using a ballet barre and a few pieces of equipment (resistance tube, ball, hand weights, etc) for a full body workout. No dance or ballet experience needed though! It's a great workout with fun playlists! The classes are paced really well to keep you engaged and energized the whole time! There are monthly class-pack and unlimited membership options with a 3 month minimum commitment, and you can also drop in for a class! Your first class is free for locals and the intention is for you to see if you like it and then talk with the studio about membership options! The clientele are mostly women (there are a few men), of all ages and fitness levels, so no matter where you're at in your journey, you are absolutely welcome to come shake with us at our barre ;) classes are usually between 10-20 people, with some of the more popular classes having waitlists. The class schedule stays consistent from week to week, with various class times available mornings, evenings, and weekends. Basically when you walk into this studio, you're greeted with smiles and good energy, you then get to turn your brain off for 50 min and just enjoy a good workout, and walk out feeling stronger!! I would definitely recommend giving it a try even if you're nervous- as someone who is not a gym girlie or athlete or workout enthusiast myself, PBPV has allowed me to have a consistent workout routine that I actually stick to and enjoy. Instead, they charged my credit card for a membership, taking 109.00 monthly. I had surgery and was laid up and did not look at my credit card for a while. When i realized what had happened i called and they only agreed to reimburse me for only one month. i was only there twice! I explained that i did not live there and i would not have ever signed for a membership. It was so misleading. Beware when signing, they are not good to work with, it is all about them getting the money. I will and am going to dispute the charges with CC company. I did not even use the 4 passes i bought,as i injured my knee and i called to see if i could get my money back and even at that time they did not inform me that i had a membership. It was a mistake and they will not make any allowances. I will never go there again. I asked for the manager to call me, and she did not return the call . I know what i signed up for and it was for only 4 passes. someone there entered it wrong.

I had booked at two locations at the same time by accident. I asked the manager and the owner to please waive my fee. They both refused because they had "credited me too much in the past". A few weeks earlier I realized that I had been out of town and forgot to cancel a class that I was still out of town for on that date. I questioned why do I not know about this charge for over a month later when I get my cc bill. I am told there is a feature I can turn on to help but no one has ever suggested that until now. When I ask the front desk or employees @the app they say it's difficult to use and they don't know how either. I understand there have to be rules. However, when the app they use doesn't work properly 1/3 of the time I use it and is not user friendly to let the clients know they "missed a class" that is not in the client's best interest. Why was the app not created well and not fixed to help the clients? My speculation- so they can get more money through the fees? I wanted to share my experience from the customer service side so others can beware. Update: I just got kicked out of being a member of the club for writing the above review! Wow. Just wow! As another member just told me they clearly do not care about their members all they care about is the money. The owner, Dawn, has religious signs within her studio; yet when someone gives honest feedback she immediately kicks them out of her biz vs thanking them for feedback and noting the complaint.

For my first class I was told to arrive early; I showed up 15 minutes before class and the door was locked but I could see someone behind the counter but their face was blocked by a computer. I knocked but due to the music that was playing for the class before mine, no one could hear me. It wasn't until I unlocked my car again to get back in my vehicle did the team member notice me. Not a huge deal but slightly awkward, maybe turning the computer slightly so it doesn't block their view of the door would help? The rest of my experience was very positive. The staff were kind, asked me about myself and my experience with the reformer. Asked about my injuries. The studio was very clean and the equipment is very nice. There are lockers to store your things with an optional lock if you choose. The bathroom is stocked with hygiene items if you need them. The music was loud but I could still hear the instructor well. Her cueing was easy to follow along. Some moves the instructor hopped on a reformer to demonstrate which I really appreciated, I would've liked to see more of that for the more challenging movements that may be difficult to understand just through cueing alone. I also love the community events that they do and their active social media account. I'm really excited to continue going to more classes!
