We drove approximately 45 minutes to the studio. Because it was Labor Day and the location was unstaffed, I was later notified by text that I had been charged a $20 unauthorized guest fee. I explained that I was a brand-new member, did not see the posted notice regarding the holiday staffing, and did not realize guests could not enter during unstaffed hours. I completely understand that businesses have policies, particularly for a 24-hour facility. My issue was never that a policy existed, it was how the situation was handled. Instead of simply giving a new member a warning or reminder for a first-time misunderstanding, I was immediately charged. When I expressed that I was disappointed, the conversation became unnecessarily defensive. I was told they had "camera footage" showing how many people entered after my code was used, even though I explained that my husband was my guest and my adult daughter was also a member who entered with me. The conversation then continued with an assistant manager saying she wasn't sure why there had been "a back-and-forth." At that point, I knew this was not the membership experience I wanted. My husband had actually enjoyed the workout and was considering joining, and my daughter had also recently signed up. Instead, two memberships were canceled and a potential third membership was lost over a $20 fee and, more importantly, the way a new customer's concern was handled. To their credit, they did allow me to cancel even though they stated I was technically on the fourth day of my contract, and they refunded my prorated dues and enrollment fee. I appreciate that and want to be fair in mentioning it. However, good customer service isn't only about enforcing policies,it's also about using discretion, communicating respectfully, and recognizing when a new customer has made an honest mistake. A simple, "We understand you're new; we'll waive it this time, but please be aware going forward," could have resulted in three long-term customers instead of cancellations. Unfortunately, the way this was handled made me uncomfortable enough that I chose not to continue my membership. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the workout concept itself may be great, but the customer experience matters just as much.

I thought I was coming to her for "fitness pilates" but in fact that is not what I needed or wanted. With her keen eye, intuition, and experience she has identified ways in which my body was compensating that really could have developed into major issues when I get older. I am so happy to be working on them now with her to prevent long term issues. All while still developing muscle and definition that pilates naturally brings. Anna provides exceptional instruction, in that she gives wonderful cues and explains the movements incredibly well. I have done pilates before coming to Anna, but she goes the extra mile with helping me to understand exactly how to do the movement. The way she corrects me is one of things I value the most about her. I can do pilates at home, but I know I will be doing a lot of things wrong. With her I can learn how my body is unconsciously compensating for certain weaknesses or ingrained movements, i.e., gripping my glutes, using one leg more than the other, tucking my pelvis, flaring my ribs, etc. In learning these I can feel more confident in my ability to do home workout's when I do have the opportunity to do them. I have also worked with Sonja and Lynn before Anna and I can say that they are exceptional as well and I look forward to working with them when Anna is not available. Everyone at Synergy Studio is warm and welcoming. Kim will greet you with the biggest smile when you walk in. I am not one of those people who just love to work out, but going to the studio is one of my favorite times of the day.

I've been evaluated all of my 52 years by neurologists, physical therapists, neuromuscular therapists, etc. for my Spastic Cerebral Palsy of one leg and spinal nerve due to a birth accident. "Oh! you cant afford it." mind you in front of another prospective student! whilst simultaneously waving his arm towards the door for me to leave, iv soled cars, been a REALTOR,and worked for call centers as sales. never in my life have i said that to a customer he is there to get your money and that is it he could care less about you or your progression which his ONLY IF YOU WANT BELT SYTEM MAKES SENSE NOW its not necessary to test and move forward. listen there are schools here with far better prices with just as if not more capable instructors for less, if you don't need a morning routine choose any other place then this one, if you do need mornings i suggest you check it out make up your own mind about it, its not my place to tell you where to and not to go. Another ClassPass session for the win visiting Nova Dance and Wellness. I've mentioned on other…read morereviews that I'm already a member of a local gym in Jacksonville and we train hard! All gas, no brakes! I've been trying different workouts to get more variety and focus on specific areas for toning and building. With all the work put forth, I'm trying to remember to prioritize stretching and resting. I visited Nova for a Stretch Roller class with Tony that was just the fix. We used lacrosse balls, rollers and yoga blocks to stretch and massage pesky areas in the legs and hips that are hard to really reach. What I really loved what the education shared and being able to experience the relief in real time. The class was intimate and everyone was friendly. Tony is super professional and pays very close attention to details with respect to form while stretching so not to injure yourself in the process. He also does sound bowl sessions with Crystal sound bowls that I'd love to experience in the future. It would've been nice to chat with someone about the benefits of joining the family, but at least I was able to save down their membership rates. I hear great things about their dance classes. I'd definitely go back for another stretch roller session. It's basically a massage and a workout. Ha!

They did seem to be understaffed, the woman that was running the class had to simultaneously work check in for everyone. There were multiple waivers that required downloading an app which was kind of a pain as well.
