They tried to scam me…read more I went in for an oil change like I've done before here. Then Kwik Kar did other basic car checks like testing my battery. They told me my battery was at 12% and would die soon. They tried to scam me to get $200 out of me for a new battery that I didn't need. I know because the battery was less than a year old. Worried though, I went to check it at an auto store. They told me my car battery was fine and at 100%. Now I can never trust them again if they lie about a simple battery. It's extremely upsetting. It got me stressed and wasted my time getting it checked out someplace else. Unfortunately, the auto store said they seen this a lot. I will attach pictures below of the battery test they (Kwik Kar) presented and the auto store presented. Please don't go here. Especially if you're a woman! They'll try to take advantage of you.

I also had another mishap with an animal (I need to stop doing that) in 2023 and they did an excellent job back then, as well! The second accident occurred on 4/12. I submitted a claim through my insurance on 4/13 and called to make an appointment on 4/14. The process was very easy (as it was the first time) and everyone was very friendly. I ended up dropping my car off on 4/15 and upon inspection, I let Tom know that there was a very small part on my driver's side that was missed the first time. It wasn't very visible when the car door was shut and I definitely don't blame them at all for missing this, as it was easy to do so. He was extremely apologetic about that and let me know that they would take care of the issue. After the inspection, I was taken to Enterprise to pick up my rental and my rental was reserved until 5/3. I was then kept up to date on what was going on with my vehicle through text messages. On Friday, 4/18, I received a call from Tom, letting me know that they were wrapping up my vehicle and I could stop by later that day to pick it up. What?!?!? Less than a week from my accident to being 100% repaired is incredible!!! The speed of service didn't at all affect the quality of their work and I'm extremely happy! In summary, if your car gets damaged, take it to North Texas Collision Center! Getting into an accident is never fun, but Tom and the crew at North Texas Collision Center helped make me feel a whole lot better. I hope I don't get into any more accidents, but if it does happen, North Texas Collision Center will absolutely receive my business again, even if I would happen to relocate to the other side the Metroplex. I would rate them 100 stars if Yelp allowed me to do so!

Further, there was a loud knocking noise coming from the engine and compression was around 100-125 PSI on each cylinder. It took 2-3 days and I had to re-send the same e-mail a few times before they would respond to my questions. I eventually received a refund but it cost me a lot of time, labor, and money. When I did finally receive the refund a few weeks later, they issued it without any sort of apology for selling me a defective engine with way more miles on it than they advertised. I definitely will not purchase from them again.
