Which absolutely sucks…read morebecause I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.

When I picked up the bike, the assembler offered the kickstand for **$15**, but since I already had several at home, I declined at the time. Later, none of mine fit the CX 2, so I went back to the store on Sunset Boulevard to buy one -- only to be told it now costs 25. When I politely explained that the person who assembled my bike had offered it for $15, the cashier flatly dismissed it, saying that price was "impossible" because "Specialized's is $15." That didn't make sense -- how would a mechanic who handled my bike know or quote the wrong price unless that's what the store policy had been at the time? To make matters worse, the cashier's attitude was curt and dismissive, showing zero customer service. For a store representing major brands like Cannondale, it's shocking to see such a lack of professionalism. Bottom line: Ask very clearly what is and isn't included when you buy your bike here, and be prepared for inconsistent information and poor service. Transparency and respect for customers should be basic -- but unfortunately, I didn't find either at Mack Cycle.

I can tell Willy is a genuinely nice & helpful person by nature who has a true passion for this stuff. He helped me one day that I was pretty much stranded w/ a damaged pedal on my way home & fixed it for me w/ no problem whatsoever. He also gave me advice on what I needed to do next & even followed up w/ me the next day to see how my bike had been holding up. The owner & the other bike mechanic also seem like very nice people; overall, very down to earth, respectful, & professional. Good prices & efficient too! Can't beat that! I can honestly say that whenever I'm in the Brickell area & need anything for my bike, this will be my go-to shop & so should you. We got in communication through email with Alfredo who answered all our questions and we arranged to rent two ebikes. We drove to the store, got all our gear organized, then parked at our hotel and returned with the 15 minute walk to the shop to get the bikes (the store only provides 30 minute parking). The ebikes were ready to ride and well tuned. We were able to ride to Crandon Park along the great trail on the Rickenbacker Causeway. Left at 12 and back by 4:30. Excellent job Suncycling.

My mom is 70 and had never been on a Segway, and while she never quite got fully comfortable, Adam was endlessly patient, calm, and reassuring the entire time. He never rushed her, never made her feel embarrassed, and genuinely helped her enjoy the experience at her own pace. He checked in constantly, gave clear guidance, and made the whole tour feel safe and fun. It ended up being one of our favorite things we did in Miami simply because of how well he took care of us. If you book a tour, definitely ask for Adam -- he made all the difference.

Ishmael's team took care of both issues quickly and my bike rides so nicely now! I thought the pricing was very fair. Because of the good service I received I recommended this shop to my mom who also had a great experience here recently when she was having issues with her gears and a few other minor issues. This is not really a hold-your-hand kind of shop, so if that's what you're looking for, perhaps go elsewhere. However, I got great service for a reasonable cost, and for that, I'll certainly be back.
