We love supporting local businesses and this woman had great reviews so we were excited to give her…read moreour business. After a few visits, the treatment was not working. My wife's skin was actually getting worse. Tamara sold her some very expensive product and hard-sell pressured her to buy more when she was still using the first batch. When it became apparent that the skin was not going to improve with that product, we tried to return the unopened batch and request something different. Not only would she not refund any of our money for the purchase we didn't even want in the first place, she blamed my wife for it not working! She refused to consider that the treatment might need to be modified. This is very poor business practice, very poor customer service, and she does not deserve to steal your hard-earned money the way she stole ours. My response to Tamara's response: your blatant mischaracterization of my message is consistent with your disrespectful treatment of my wife and does not surprise me in the least. I did not ask for money in exchange for changing a review. My beef with you is that you pressured my wife into buying something she didn't want and then you refused to allow her to return it for a refund. If you need more information to figure out which customer she was, that only proves that you have done this to others as well and is your common practice. What I said to you was that, if you were willing to reconsider allowing us to return the product for a refund, as you should have already done, I'd be willing to update the review accordingly. This is not a request of payment for a service. This is asking you to return the money you stole from us. I would report you to the better business bureau but it seems you are not a member.

I was brought into a room where Dr. Kang discussed which treatments would benefit my skin and target my areas of concerns, and her nurse, Vivian, was the one who treated me. I was recommended the Ultra Clear laser for facial rejuvenation and the Q switched laser for the brown spots on my cheeks and I was able to get treatment done that same day. We even went ahead with a little Botox on my forehead and glabella. Vivian did an amazing job as I felt minimal pain during all the treatments and I've been loving my results. My skin looks more even and fresh and forehead lines aren't as noticeable. I highly recommend going to Prestige to see Dr. Kang and Vivian and I cannot wait to go back for more!

Quite honestly, Ive had some not so good experiences at other places around my area in SGV because I felt like I was treated like a money customer rather than a patient. Im so glad I found her. It's worth driving so far for! Dr. Kang and her team are very organized and thorough. They listened to every concern and I had and didnt upsell me anything. No pressures at all. I felt very comfortable. I was so impressed they presented with me a quotation for the recommended procedures and information for aftercare right away before I made my decision so I know what to expect. SO PROFESSIONAL! I would recommend tho that they add something like "Downtime" and "Recovery Time" on the literature I received so I know how to plan out the procedures in the future (In case skin sheds or what not after procedure so I can plan off time from work). That being said, I got one of the recommended procedures done on the same day because I know there was little downtime. Bonus! I told my friend about my experience and come to find out she also had an appointment booked next week already :)

When we went we wanted to do a consultation first to see what we can get and NP Shelly assisted us and to be honest she was very nice and helpful and she was honest. We were with her for almost 2 hours asking questions, there was a lot of different things we could of done like Botox and I forgot the other name but she recommended Dysport, and I love my results. I did my forehead, crows feet, and in the middle of my eyebrows and also lifted my eyebrows up. I was also scared to get lip filler, Shelly mentioned to get a lip flip to dip our toes in aesthetics and I love the results!!! I'm definitely coming back. A lot of my friends are noticing the difference on my face and lips. I also want to mention the front desk I think her name is Liz she was very professional and she called me and my sisters to check up on us which is a A++ for me.

I…read moreoriginally found them through Groupon (great value around $70), but lately I've been booking directly with the spa even though it's around $90, and honestly I think it's worth it. It feels like they use even nicer products when booking direct, which I've really noticed in the results. The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.
