1 month after spending almost $6k for a spot repair to my sewer line from a plumbing company I…read morewon't name, it was then recommended to me by the same plumbing company that I move forward with entirely replacing my sewer line. They indicated that they would give me a partial credit on this job for the work already performed that didn't solve the entire issue in the first place. It was at this point that I was waiting on their quote for the replacement line that Earthworks was then recommended to me by a third-party for a second opinion, so I called and spoke extensively with Matt. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and offered to come right out to give me a free estimate. In doing that, he went out of his way to contact the City of Vancouver Community and Economic Development Department to negotiate the required square footage of asphalt replacement for this job (knowing that I may likely still go with the plumbing company due to the partial credit) - which the city approved and saves me money in the end! When I got the quote from the original plumbing company, Matt even reviewed it for me and pointed out several errors which incorrectly reduced the quote total i.e. they said there were no asphalt replacement requirements when there ARE and they said that the required trench would only need to be 7 feet deep when it needs to be 10 feet deep (all of this information was verified by the City). Matt has went above and beyond and out of his way to help someone who was not even a guaranteed customer - this company seems to have good ethics and business practices and I will very likely opt to use his company to do this repair in the end (still working out financing details).

Called and discussed drainage issues in our yard. Matt came out the very next day. He didn't think…read moreit was an issue with down spouts. Recommend we use our landscaper, they do large jobs. He was super nice and appreciated his honest recommendation.

I have worked with a great number of contractors over the years, and I consider B&G to be the most…read moreprofessional, courteous, fair and responsive of them all. They recently did the plumbing work for our new bathroom, replaced our sanitary sewer line and repaved our driveway - all in the span of about a week and a half while juggling numerous other jobs. In particular, my family and I were in a sewer emergency, and B&G came right out, we discussed options, decided on a course of action and they were literally digging the trench for the new sewer 10 minutes later. With a crew of a dozen people working on it the remainder of the day, we had a functioning sewer that night. The price was also super reasonable, to the point where I didn't even bother with other bids. One thing I really like about B&G is the teaching and mentorship that is constantly going on between Bobo, the owner, his senior crew leads and the junior staff. Yesterday we had B&G out for a small job and I asked the two guys how they like working for Bobo and one of them didn't even hesitate: "Best boss ever, and it's not even close". Personally I really like supporting businesses that support young people developing skills that they can put to work supporting themselves and their families. Clearly for Bobo, it isn't just about making money or delivering a good product. It's about giving something back, too. Simply put, I can not recommend B&G highly enough.

My second experience with B&G today for irrigation backflow system testing. Appointment very easy…read moreto get, very pleasant operator (Guillermo) who quickly handled the inspection. As a kindness also eyeballed a faucet nozzle at same location and showed me exactly what was broken. Very fair pricing, excellent front office coordination. Every person friendly and knowledgeable. I wish we could tip for good service, very deserving.
