Not only is Jeff a professional and very skilled landscape designer, he is personable and a joy to work with. WeI had never used a landscape designer before, and I wasn't sure if it was really going to be worth it. In the back of our minds we thought that we could probably plan our yard and garden ourselves. In the end, after seeing the final detailed plan that Jeff provided we couldn't be more convinced that we made the right choice having a professional do this work. We avoided so much wasted time and money by having this plan set from the beginning. It is really worth it!

Harley at Design Prodigy is the perfect combination of honesty, integrity, talent, and knowledge…read moreall delivered with tremendous kindness, and respect. He is upfront about budget and costs and keeps you updated every step of the way so there are no unpleasant surprises. What puts Harley's company in a league of its own, is his team. These are not subcontractors with tons of other jobs all happening simultaneously. He hand picked these workers, who are masters in their fields. What this means is, that team showed up early every morning. They worked hard and wasted no time. They are experts at what they do and they take pride in the job they perform. Harley treats your job like he is working on his own house. This comes across very clearly in every decision and choice he makes to select materials, plants, products, etc. He also consulted me before every design decision was made, from the the height of the step leading to the backyard, to the exact color of the cement, to the exact placement of the plants before the digging took place. Another designer may have gone ahead and planted the plants per the architectural design, but Harley has this innate understanding that people change their minds when they see things actually laid out, or after they have time to think about the project as it it progressing. It is this insightful understanding about human nature, that greatly reduces stress during the project as you come to trust and appreciate these rare qualities that you don't find in most people. I am so pleased with the work Design Prodigy did in the backyard.

We purchased an older home and gutted it before we moved in and let's just say that the construction process was none to friendly on an already worn out yard. I received multiple bids but John's included a lot more hardscape for a similar amount of money. John was on site everyday and helped me design the yard as nothing was usable due to the slope, and he did some excavation to make us some flat portions. We now have a fire pit area that they meticulously cut each piece of flagstone, a few walk ways, planter beds, sprinklers, low voltage lighting, sod, rock walls etc. We couldn't be happier. Oddly, I didn't seem to many photos when they were done last summer when it looked perfect but will post a few so I am not another 9 months in writing the review.
