They did a great job from prepping the ground to the actual pouring of the concrete. I will use them again for any concrete related issues in the future.

Greg and his crew did a great job of replacing my old, broken driveway. He was also very flexible about timing, which I really appreciated.

Cody also designed and installed a dry "river bed that we needed for functional and aesthetic reasons. He also removed a gravel walkway that we no longer needed. It's gorgeous! Our yard is transformed. Cody exceeded our expectations for many reasons. For one he does what he says he is going to do. He is an Excellent communicator. He kept us informed at all times. He is a hard working young man--wish I had a son like him. Cody also a great eye for detail and does exceptional work! Can't wait to add some plants and a few finishing touches along the dry riverbed that he created for us. We saw Schlappi Construction's sign at the bottom of Green Mountain Road and decided to give him a chance. We have called so many for estimates but unlike the others, we could tell he was the one for us. He is well rounded and has a lot of experience in spite of his youthful appearance. He is easy going and great to work with. When someone works this hard they deserve your trust. You will not regret hiring him.

I was attempting to remove stumps, excavate, and move soil to put in a gravel RV pad myself (back…read morein June 2021) with my little diesel tractor, when Jordan from Watson's Excavation was driving by and stopped to chat with me about our project. He took some quick measurements and got me an estimate and a couple options for our project later that same night. At the time, the project was not able to be done for various reasons on our side. The time finally came to get our project re-launched and I reached out to Jordan in mid-April 2022 to see if he was still available and interested in doing our project. We set up a time, and he came out to do a re-evaluation (in the pouring down rain), as there were a few changes to the original plan. Again, he took some new measurements and we discussed the changes. An updated estimate was provided that same day, and he made sure that I understood that he and his crew started early and to make sure my neighbors were notified. Upon arrival on day 1, we went over each step of the plan, so I knew what to expect from excavation, stump, and material removal, to grading, laying fabric, bringing in base rock, and top layer. As each layer of rock was brought in, it was graded, leveled, compacted, and rolled. Rain or shine, Jordan and his crew were hard at work, unaffected by what Mother Nature through at them. The project finished a little ahead of schedule with only minor finishing and clean up left to do. Once everything was done, Jordan walked me through everything that was done to ensure the completed project was aligned with our expectations. We couldn't be happier that we hired Watson's Excavation to do our gravel RV pad. The project turned out great and looks awesome! Jordan made sure the pad was designed in a way that will withstand tremendous weight without sinking and provided adequate drainage to prevent pooling from our wonderful Pacific Northwest rain fall, while also providing the option to install concrete at a later time with little effort. We now have plenty of room to park our RV, race car, truck, and plenty of overflow off street parking for parties. It would've taken me and my little diesel tractor months (or years) to complete this project on my own, which was 120ft x 18ft. Jordan made it look easy and he had it knocked out in just a few days! If you have any excavation or concrete needs, I would highly recommend Watson's Excavation. The only regret that I have, is not having him do this project sooner. We are already planning to use him for future projects.

In 2018 Nylund Homes Inc. bought and had Nylund Inc. remodel a 1979 mobile in Silverlake, WA. which…read moreNylund Homes Inc then sold in 2019 (President of both Rod Nylund). Prior to the remodel, the mobile home was total junk and it should have been torn down. But it appears that they decided instead to coverup latent damage with new vinyl and floor sheathing, on top of rotted soaking old floors in both bathrooms and utility room. New sheathing and three tab were put on rotted rafters. At our request, L and I came out to check their work, mold was found through out both bathrooms and utility room. L and I inspection date: Oct 26 2019 permit # FP3305099 at 110 Stout Road, Silverlake WA 98645. L and I found that there were no permits pulled for any of the major work they did other than to turn on the electricity. There is an active lawsuit filed in Cowlitz County Superior Court against Nylund Inc by us, the purchasers of the mobile home at 110 Stout Rd., Silverlake WA. filed Mar 16, 2020. If you look under Homepath 110 Stout Rd., Silverlake WA you will see pictures of the mobile home before the "remodel" by Nylund Inc. Then look under Redfin and see what it looked like when listed. This is what we saw when we bought it. Turns out, it is total junk and toxic! Between Nylund Inc and our home inspector, they have made my retirement by the lake hell! I haven't said anything until recently because our attorney asked me not to. I have tried, but it is no longer working for me. My wife and I would have been happy in our 79 mobile home if Nylund Inc would have done the work with pride and professionalism instead of seemingly with thought only to the almighty dollar making it "look" good when it really wasn't under all the new paint, floors and roof. Because of the presence of mold in the house to an unknown extent, the damage that should have been fixed already, and the fact that the L and I inspector said it needed to be decapitated for the roof to be fixed right, we have determined it is not cost effective to try to repair this 1979 mobile home that we purchased in May of 2019 and have not moved into yet, 2+ years later!!
