Matt was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to give us a ton of helpful information about our trees, their overall health, and things we can do to properly care for them going forward. While he was here, he even noticed a few things with our neighbors' trees and gave us some helpful tips to pass along to them. I'm so glad we called CT Preservation. It's such a relief to have someone knowledgeable and trustworthy to call when you have large, mature trees on your property. If we ever need an arborist again, or if anyone we know is looking for one, we will absolutely be recommending Matt and CT Preservation!

Both my neighbors on either side, watched, as did I, and everyone was impressed. They were highly skilled worker bees, and their experience showed- knowing exactly where to cut, pull, rope- working non-stop, in a timely manner and very efficiently. They also cleaned the property thereafter with a brush, rake and blower. In addition, to note: Matt, also being a tree preservationist, was very knowledgeable and mindful of a second tree closeby. He was very careful to not injure it. Overall, I would highly recommend Matt and his team. They were highly skilled, knowledgeable, efficient, clean, mindful and also reasonably priced.

Today I had the pleasure of having Witkowski & Sons Tree Service come to my home to clear away…read moreseveral trees that were damaged during a recent storm. Quite honestly, I am speechless. I have used several tree services over the years, and while I have had good experiences with all of them, none have been as efficient, professional, and impressive as Witkowski & Sons. The crew today consisted of Joe, the leader, along with Abel and Willy. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, professional, courteous, and extremely careful--especially around my septic fields, which was very important to me. I watched them from my window, and I couldn't get over how hard they worked--and yet they made it look almost effortless. They worked as a team, knew exactly what they were doing, and took great care with my property. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up beautifully. My only advice to anyone considering Witkowski & Sons is this: If you have to wait for them, they are absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be calling them again in the future. In fact, I already want them back to do some light pruning of several rare ornamental trees in the front of my property. I trust them completely with my trees and my property. And a special word about Joe: he is stellar. His work ethic, professionalism, politeness, and genuinely friendly manner make him a tremendous asset to the company. He clearly takes pride in his work and in making sure the customer is satisfied. Thank you, Witkowski & Sons, Joe, Abel, and Willy, for an outstanding job. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend you!

Almost half our Newtown home was destroyed and/or damaged. As soon as it happened, I knew exactly who to call. Newtown Arbor Services (NAS) had done work for us several years ago, removing several very huge trees. They have the massive equipment, and the know-how to do great work in a expeditious way. NAS showed up almost immediately, and worked to button-up the house against deluging rain, before they were even ready to remove the trees. After the storms abated, they showed up with a large crew and all sorts of equipment. They deftly maneuvered their equipment in and removed the trees. They then again tarped the damaged house to make it rain tight. NAS were the only people that came to rescue us in our time on need. No one else had any sense of urgency. They did a great job. We cannot recommend them enough.
