Update 7/2/18 I was able to get a hold of both the company owner Olegario and Brian. We set up a meeting and met this past weekend. They signed off on the release of representation for my insurance. We did both talk about my issues and concerns and they were able to answer the questions i had about the whole situation including my red flags. After speaking with them now i deff. Feel more comfortable about the situation and company. If we had done this from the beginning we would of very likely stayed with them. I work in customer service and this is what several of my reviews are about. How a customer is handled tells a lot about the company's values in my eyes. Though the experience was not the best at the beginning, they did pull through at the end. They ended up providing me some tips and apologized for the situation. ---------------------------------------------- This company was referred to us from our neighbors. They did a free consultation with the owner of the house and determined we could qualify for a new roof from our insurance. They requested the owner to sign off on the paperwork. The owner being my father who doesn't speak, write or read fluent english. My father signed off on the paperwork. I got home and the company was still there talking to my father. Right away I got a bad vibe. I asked to see all the papers my dad signed. They only showed me one piece of paper which was supposed to be the estimated cost of repair, instead if numbers the whole quote sections said TBD. I asked about this and they said they would work with our insurance to determine how much they would charge. I thought this was unusual as a quote/estimate shouldn't have anything to do with our insurance. At this point they seemed almost nervous. My father gave them permission to call me and follow up with me about the claim. They said they would contact my insurance to initiate the claim and then they would call me to set up the appointment. They took down my information Fast forward about 10 days later we get a letter from the insurance company stating they got a claim adjuster contract which indicated the adjuster would represent us and that he had set up an appointment for early October. I immediately called the insurance to see what was going on. My insurance told me they are representing us and verified the apt date. He also said any elegible claim funds would be paid out to us and the adjuster. I explained we were never made aware of this. And asked he sent me a copy of the paperwork he received. He sends me a contract that the sales rep avoided showing me when i asked to see everything that was signed. The contract had different handwriting and ink color on different sections of the form. Not sure if they purposely refuse to show me this or what. I called the rep who had my dad sign whatever docs and demand to cancel and not move forward with the claim. He said i needed to talk to Olegario. He said he would give me his number. He finally txt me it 2 hours later after i told him i he never sent it. I leave olegario a msg. My call is never returned. I call the sales rep again. Tell him i got no call back he then gives me Brians number who is the claims adjuster. I also left him a msg. Never heard back. Call him back 2 days letter and he answers. I explained we wanted to cancel and he said that was fine. He said verbal confirmation was all we needed. Per the contract he sent my insurance. The cancelation must be done in writing he says no. I argue with him back and forth and request a written confirmation that he is no longer representing us on the claim he finally agrees to send me something he said i would get the next day. Never got anything. I calle him 2 days later no response. I called text and emailed him several times that week and no response. read more

Alpha exterior one has failed to complete contracted work on my siding and garage doors, despite having received payment and approval from my insurance provider. I have been ghosted by them for 6 months, though I have maintained a detailed record of all my attempts to contact them. Furthermore, when they took a sample of my siding, they left the area uncovered. This has resulted in ongoing water and snow infiltration into my home. They are absolutely horrible to work with! Huge lack of communication! They perform substandard work, leave your outside of your home a complete mess, they also left nails all over my yard and driveway, fail to put things back where they were originally! Do not put outlets or lights back, leaving them hanging and hazardous! My siding started to come off within a month and they ignore my text and calls. They do not stand behind their work at all. I stay far away from them! Also be aware that I researched them unfortunately after I've been dealing with them only to find out that they have several lawsuits including one that was filed by State AG Raoul. They have changed company names multiple times as well but google their names and you will find it all!! The only positive out of this is that I love the colors that I picked out for my roof, siding and gutters. read more

Terrible company. They tired to scam my family and I. They tell you what you hear to get you under contract to file your claim with your insurance company and once you sign over your insurance check, you will never hear from them again. The company goal is to have them represent you to get an insurance check then as stated in the contract, they keep 30% of the amount you receive if you back out and want a refund. So they have you sign the check over and they never schedule work or call you back after that. They just wait for you to complain enough and get sick of the process until you just request your money and then they keep their 30% portion, which is statedin the contract. I would say avoid these scam artists and hire a real company. read more

I would highly recommend them for anyone needing roof work. In general, the workmanship was excellent. No problems with them. They did what they said they'd do, showed up when they said they would. I have no complaints. They were very professional and exactly what I needed. read more

Alpha handled my roof, siding and gutter claim while representing me against State Farm. They did exactly what they said they were going to do when Oleg showed up to my house. The process took longer than I expected, but given that we were up against the winter months & State Farm not acting quickly, I am satified with the service. Jesus jumped in and was very responsive, updated me as soon as there were changes in the status and made sure that the crews did their job. Both the roofing and siding/gutter crews were prompt once the approvals were given. They showed up on time, were courteous, and answered all my questions once on site. They worked efficiently and I am satisfisfied (as is Will County Dept of Inspections) that the work was completed satisfactorily. I would recommend Alpha again. My only advice would be to note that sometimes this entire process can take more time than expeceted so you must be patient. read more

SCAMMERS!! My husband trusted them with entering into a contract for roof hail damage repair. Then our insurance company then issued a joint check to Bryan Tlaczini for partial repairs. Bryan assured us he was continuing to negotiate with the carrier for a complete roofing tear off. This was a year ago. He would not return my calls through last fall. The insurance company has no record of his attempts to negotiate. He replied to my call now this spring & promised to contact the carrier & determine how to void the contract. He hasn't contacted them & will not respond to my calls. All he has to do is sign the check over to us. I would rate him a minus if I could. read more

I usually don't give bad reviews.. but I believe it is my duty to warn others from dishonest businesses such as this one. This business not only did an unfinished job - but also took the payment and fled the "so-called finished job" and has yet to return. As a business man myself, I think it's our sworn duty to guarantee help and satisfaction towards our clientele. read more

worst company to deal with!!!!! They don't have word of honor. They don't call or text back. The anxiety that I experience with this company is not worth it! They only want your business after getting ur money u are forgotten. Stay away from this company!!!!!!!! read more

Another horrible experience. Surprise surprise. Our claim was submitted 7/2017. TWO YEARS AGO AND STILL NO REPAIRS OR CALLS RETURNED FROM EITHER SON OR FATHER. They would ignore my mother's calls and delay processes because the claim wasn't signicant enough for them. I then called a REAL roofing company that was able to get a much higher claim for us and Bryan shows up the day of that inspection is his "luxury" to claim he's here to represent us. I informed him I was uninterested in working with him and he threatened to send me a bill for "everything they did". I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I encourage everyone else that has had a bad experience to do so. That is the only way these thieves will stop stealing money. read more

I'm writing this three months later with no repair to our roof. This company started off what seemed to be professional (three months ago) until they damaged my vaulted ceiling by using wrong nails (too long). They also over tarped. The head roofer instructed he would fix the damage with no problem. Good thing I stopped them right away or the damage would be throughout the entire ceiling!!!!! With that said, the company went through one inspection with our insurance. My insurance company is waiting for the letter to start the appraisal and we've tried for over 3 weeks to get this started. We even went to the company's office/ his house to get some clarification regarding the process and why he hadn't returned our calls. The man that answered the door called himself the assistant and he would look into our file. He also mentioned that they were backed up!! The public adjuster associated with this company did not follow up and displayed poor time management skills and unprofessional behavior. He should of called us back and contacted my insurance!!! My insurance is still waiting on him. With that said, I'm dumping this company and hoping for a roofing company that knows what they are doing!! I'm so disgusted with the damage that was caused and unprofessional behavior! Do not use this company, unless you want a damaged roof and ceiling in the process! They simply do not care! read more

The first encounter I had with them was great. Brian was nice went over everything with me and he said we would be approved for our roof getting redone and our siding. Everything went through our insurance and they were payed and started the roof. Which was done in a timely manner. I asked him about starting the siding. He said once their done with the roof we can talk about the siding. He gave me the book of the kinds of siding they had and I chose the same color. He told me that was fine and he would put the order in. I was going on vacation at that time so I told him no rush we will be gone for a week so he could do it while we were gone. He said no problem. We came back and I was expecting maybe to see siding sitting on my driveway or the job had been done and it wasn't. I called Brian and he said they were backed up let me put in the order and get the permit. I didn't hear back. I gave him a week and called Brian back, no answer, I left a message. I called a few days later and same thing. It was now about a month since I got back from vacation and I was getting tired of this cat and mouse game. I called the main number and talked to who I assumed was the owner. I told him what had happened and he said he would have someone out today. No one came. I called him back the next day and he said he would have someone come out which he did. He took pictures and said he would order everything. He never got back to me. I ended up calling the village and they put a hold on all the their work. They were no longer able to get permits for my town until they did the work. After that they finally came out and did the work. After 2 months of me hounding them. I would never ever use them again and if I see a sign in my neighborhood I will gladly tell them not to use them they are a scam. If I could I would give them no stars. read more
