I took my 1979 Evinrude 35 hp lower unit in a basket from another shop that the master mechanic shafted me!They let me get all the parts on my own, which is unheard of! The only thing they wanted was let them put it all together and they would guarantee it! Six trips later on the lake no problems! Fixed my other 7.5 Mercury!Kendra, Mark, and Juan are the Best! Totally upfront and honest! Which you don't find anymore! I thank all of you! read more

I don't usually post a review or respond to surveys, but the honest, professional, top-quality service I received when I took my 2001 Crownline to their facility deserves 5 stars from beginning to end. I highly recommend and will most definitely return in the future... these guys are the best!!! read more

I took my Stratos there for carb rebuild, work on shift linkage, and check the water pump. Kept for a couple weeks and finally called and said it was done. Cost: just under $1400.oo. Paid it and decided to take my kids and grandson out the next day. Filled the 37 gal fuel tank and launched the boat. Had a real difficult time starting it. It would start and run maybe 30 seconds. I used my trolling motor to get out past the wake zone. tried starting it again, same thing wouldn't stay running. ?At this point I noticed it was starting to get hot. I stop trying then and decided to put it back on the trailer. Well somewhere along the way I lost the plug and the boat was taking on water. Alot faster than my bilge pump could pump out. I had to flag down a boat and get towed back to the dock! Ruined a good day. Got it home and called G and G and brought it back to the the following day. They called the following day to pick up the boat. Upon arrival the lady told me that it got too hot and melted some wires. Said I sucked up something and it plugged the water pump. Said they wouldn't do anything else without charging me. Recommended that I buy a used motor and replace it. I brought it home again and decided to check it out. That is when I found the broken Stern light in the battery compartment. They replaced it with a cheap light with a plastic base instead of a LED light like I had. The impact point on my gas tank is about 12 in. from my stern light. The gas tank had several cracks in it which allowed water to mix with the gas. By the time we got back to the dock that was all you could smell (Gas). The deputy sheriff came over and just said be careful and no smoking as it was draining. I pulled the tank out to check to see if it could be fixed. A lot of the wires were melted. I started to pull the spark plugs to check if fouled out and didn't need a socket, they were removed by hand! I would never take my boat back there nor would I recommend them to anybody. read more

I have had my boat to 2 other places trying to get the Honda outboard to run correctly. No one could get it running right until I took it to G&G Marine. You have a customer for life. Thank you for the great service. read more

These guys are great! We were on a tight schedule, and they did everything they could to help. They communicated throughout the process and took their time to explain everything well. Really great service and professionalism. I highly recommend! read more

It's rare I give 5 stars but this team deserves it! We have been using them for about a year since becoming boat owners. They are amazing! They are so popular and well respected that they sometimes can have a waiting list of 3 months. However the 3 times we have used them they allowed us to bring the boat and it was half the time frame they gave or less. They also do the extra mile without being asked or even expecting it if them. We had a Bimini top that the side piece broke. We were just going to replace it and when we picked our boat up from being worked on the piece was fixed. We didn't ask them to do that and it was such a great surprise. Thank you for still providing such great service in a time where it really is hard to find! P.s ladies- they will even hook the boat up to the truck if needed. Lol Thank you again! read more

I recently purchased a boat and decided to take it to G & G MARINE because they had 5 stars on google. We were quoted a price over the phone for a basic service done to the boat for 800 but when my husband went to pick up the boat we we're told it would be 1700. They did more work on the boat then what my husband had approved for. Needless to say after compromising the total down to 1400 we took the boat somewhere else to confirm if the work was really done on our boat and found out they lied. When we returned to inform G&G MARINE they refused due to new ownership. Worst company Ive ever dealt with. Anyone have similar experience I'm ready to go to small claims court! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! read more

Excellent service, I called to find a water pump kit for my Tahoo 2007. They walked through how to find the right parts on the phone without any rush. Unfortunately, they don't carry the part my have but I still do business with them any time in the future and recommend to friends and family. read more

My sons and I acquired an older boat and needed some help. So we removed the outdrive and took to g&g marine. I was so impressed with how the owner and Juan talked to my 15 and 12 year old boys! They gave us ideas on how to fix different issues and also they quickly and reasonably fixed the outdrive. Bravo everyone, you have now gained some loyal customers. Also great to see a family owned business in today's crazy corporate world. read more

These guys are awesome. Have always kept my boat running in tip top shape. Don't take a chance and get stranded at the lake. Give these guys a shout so you know your boat is always good to go. read more

1995 Cris Craft, V-8 Volvo Penta. This thing hasn't run right for 5 years. My former marine repair shop wouldn't touch it because of the age. A smaller shop tried 3 years ago but still had problems. Took it to G&G and they had it diagnosed in 24 hr and had the boat back in three days. Took it to lake yesterday and it runs like new! Prices are reasonable too. read more

Was looking for a part for my trailer, spoke to a Shawn here. They did not have what I needed in stock, however he suggested a place in town that might. And they did. If this is the level of service one can expect from here, I would suggest NOT going anywhere else. Thank you shawn. read more

I have started all over with a newer boat and trying to get it to where I can trust it and know its running solid. I have done all of my own work up until this point. The guys have been more than helpful during this time with the information and help. I finally had to drop the boat off due to not having time to work on it. G&G marine was spot on and now I know my boat runs solid and I can trust it. The work was completed in a timely manner considering the time of year and all the boats needing work. The price was very reasonable and respectful for what they did. I can not say enough about this shop/ store. If they don't have an item they can get it and quick. I will recommend G&G marine to anyone that may need service or items for their boat. thank you again Gentlemen for all of your help!!!! read more

A big shout out to Vince and Steve for coming through in a serious pinch for me. Highly recommend this place. Thanks guys!!

Honest, competent, friendly, reasonable rates. If you've owned boats as long as I have, you know how hard it is to find marine mechanics like G&G. Thanks guys!!! read more

Called on our way to the lake in need of a last minute boat plug. They didn't have one by itself but broke one out of a package of multiple things. We were so grateful. Then as we went to pull out of the parking lot, we realized our radiator on our truck had blown. They were gracious enough to pull our boat in and store it so we could get our truck to the shop without nearly as much struggle. Very grateful! read more

First choice for boat & motor service since 1958. Factory training and experience count.

Great place. Prices are the same or lower than other Marine dealers. Fast service. You can call one day and they usually have the part the next day if it isn't in stock.. Worked on my boat twice. Big improvement over the prior occupants of the building. Lots of good experience in the mechanic/owners. read more
