If you're in the area and need your tennis or badminton racket professionally restrung at a great price with quick turnaround, look no further. Myuran and his team are amazing! Not only are they friendly and knowledgeable, but Myuran also brings a wealth of experience as a former college player and someone who has strung rackets for professional players. He truly understands what's expected from both the player's perspective and the stringer's side when it comes to quality restringing services. The process couldn't be easier. You drop off your racket at the park and pick it up the next day. Everything is handled through text--they verify your desired string tension, keep you updated, and let you know when your racket is ready. Myuran also took the time to explain how many local shops don't use proper stringing techniques specific to each racket, which gave me even more confidence in their work. Even though I don't know how to string a racket myself, I can definitely tell when a stringing job is top-notch--and they delivered! Thanks again for the excellent quality and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!

Newly-strung tennis racket

Fast, fairly-priced, and most of all, professional. These guys helped recommend a string, picked my racket up, sent me detailed photos and descriptions of how my last stringer had done a poor job, then had my racket back to me with a glorious set of new strings in 1.5 hours. Can't recommend them enough if you can drive out to the Sunnyvale area. Only downside is that they don't have a brick and mortar location yet, but they're very communicative with scheduling if you call/text at the number they provide.

The best tennis stringing service in the Bay! Myuran, who is a certified Master Racquet Technician, does an incredible job. It's actually not only technique, his customer service and communication is top notch. He proactively annotated in his messages to me where previous stringers had not followed manufacturer instructions and of course fixed it when he re-strung my racquets. He is also super fast, with less than 24 hour turnaround for his standard service which frankly is unheard of. You can also get 1hr service for an extra fee. His prices for both strings and labor are very reasonable ($15 for labor per racquet), without any sacrifice at all in quality. If you live near Sunnyvale at all, there is honestly no reason to string your racquets anywhere else.

He also plays and really knows his stuff. Gave good tips and advice and did an excellent job on my daughter's racket and mine. An overall great experience.

Got referred to this place by one of my tennis hitting partners. Myuran was super responsive and detail-oriented. He did a great job stringing my racket, carefully following the manufacturer's specs, and returning the remaining strings to me nicely wrapped to avoid moisture damage (used half from two packs of different strings for a hybrid setup), and within a short turn-around time. I would definitely come back here in the future.

Top quality strung, reasonable pricing. He gave me tips and many recommendation on strings. I'll definitely recommend my badminton friends to string here

Myuran was amazing and very quick in getting my racquet strung (~24 h turnaround). He was very easy to coordinate with for the drop off and pickup. He helped me pick out a string for my new racquet given my relatively beginner/intermediate level and I'm quite excited to give it a try. Unbeatable prices for the service and support especially the depth of knowledge and expertise he and his associates share. Definitely recommend for anyone living in the Sunnyvale area or can make the trip. Note: Send a text to the number on the image attached/associated with this listing to coordinate (also useful to see pricing and the different strings they offer). There is no physical store location per se. All payment was digital and hassle free.

No, free weekday morning tennis at Cuesta Tennis Center while the clubhouse was closed. We've been playing here since July 2020. 3/18/2020 clubhouse closed. 7/18/2020 clubhouse open weekends 8am-2pm. 1/2/2021 clubhouse open 4-930pm weekdays and 8am-5pm weekends. 3/2/2021 clubhouse open 2-930 weekdays and 8am-5pm weekends. Playing tennis was free on weekday mornings until now. Came to play tennis 6/29/2021 to be greeted by sign saying "Starting June 28 9am weekday openings for pro shop. All players are required to sign in with an MVT Mindbody account. " On the next court are four players, each of them required to fill out the Mindbody account. Residents play for free on a walk on court. Two players are nonresidents, and have to pay $5 each for an hour of play. This is $5 per player, not per court , to play 9am to 10am. At 10am, the two nonresidents have to stop play and report to the clubhouse and each pay another $5 for a second hour of walk on court, as reservations are for 1 hour increments. If you have 3 nonresidents, you would pay the maximum $15 per hour for a walk on reservation. The nonresident player made arrangements to play 9am to 1030am, paying $7.50. Only he's returns to the clubhouse at 10:35am, and is billed $5 for play from 10am to 11am. Shortly before 9am, I report to the clubhouse, and fill out a MVT Mindbody account. I take a picture of the QR code, and fill out the on line application right on my phone. Mandatory inclusion of name, address. Boxes for filling out cell phone, e-mail, DOB, credit card number, expiration date. At least they didn't ask for social security number! The other three nonresident players balk at filling out the application and leave. Nonresidents can still play for free at Cuesta before 9am or 12noon to 2pm on weekdays. Two of our players balked at playing at 730am -needed their beauty rest! Want to play during prime time, weekdays after 5pm, or weekends? Walk on reservations difficult, as all 12 courts in use. There is a $5 per court light fee. $11 per hour per court for Mountain View resident reservation, and $15 per hour per court for nonresident reservation. Kinks in the system linking Mindbody accounts and the reservation system. No advance court reservations at this time. Next week we are playing at Sunnyvale Tennis Center, with courts at $8 per hour before 4pm, if the person making the reservation is a Sunnyvale resident. A 1.5 hour reservation would be $12, compared to $22.50 at Cuesta. Not that it would matter to these retired guys, as they all earn far too much to qualify for stimulus checks!
