At 5 we called Raj and the call went to voice mail. We left a message. We called twice more, but both times no answer, just voice mail. By 5:15 it became clear he wasn't going to show up. The drive to SFO from our place takes between 35 and 45 minutes, so we got in our car and headed for the airport, discouraged and upset. At 5:37 a.m. Raj called to apologize, saying his alarm didn't go off. We were already on19th Avenue in San Francisco by this time. I feel I need to add what our experience was once we reached the airport. We had to find Long Term Parking for the first time, park, walk to the Air Train, wait for it to arrive, ride15 minutes to the Terminal, go through Security, where my husband's bag was gone through, then walk as fast as our legs would take us to the very last B gate, probably a quarter-mile, hauling our bags because there had been no time to check them. We made it to Gate B21 literally two minutes before the gate was to close. Our stress level by this time was off the charts. I will not be calling Raj again.
