I've now taken Green Dream Tours twice: I've experienced different vehicles, different guides, different tours. My first experience was on the Sonoma Valley Wine Tour. We went to the Robledo Family Winery, Larson Family Winery, and Nicholson Ranch with time to also explore the historic Sonoma Plaza. It was perfect. I loved each winery we went to because they were all so different (we had a picnic lunch provided for us and our group bought bottles of bubbly to share), and the free time to explore Sonoma on my own was appreciated. There were nine of us that time so were seated on an incredibly comfortable, clean mini bus. However, the tour guide wasn't great -- she seemed bored by having to drive us, and sat awkwardly near us at each winery playing on her phone. And at the end of the day when she had to drop me off at my hotel, she lost her cool because of the traffic and ended having me walk a half mile back because it was too congested and she was so stressed. My second experience was the complete opposite. I did the Napa Valley Wine Tour, and we went to Bouchaine Vineyards, Spelletich Family Winery, and Hagafen Cellars - the first spot was absolutely unbelievable; picture perfect scenery, amazing wines with generous pours, and we were provided an incredible private tour. The other two spots were much less exciting. Checking out the Oxbow Market was cool, but because we came at lunch time it was insanely busy (my suggestion is to check out the businesses outside but nearby the market). There were four of us this time and we drove around in a van - the interior was dirty and it was much less comfortable. However; our tour guide this time was amazing. Thoughtful, accommodating, friendly, engaging; he really took the time out to get to know each one of us personally. And while he's probably given a million tours, he still came off genuine and excited to be a part of ours. While I'm probably done taking tours with them, I appreciated that they made visiting various wineries so accessible to me while in San Francisco for work!

With so many vineyards tours to choose - Me and my friend were hoping that we made a good choice. We decided on the combo Sonoma and Napa Tour ad was glad we did. We know that it all comes down to the tour guide - luckily - we had Mark - he was AWESOME!! Mark was at our location on time, he was chill, laid-back and had a wealth of knowledge and made sure we stayed on task and time throughout the day!! We visited three smaller wineries and that was cool because I want some variety and something different and this tour delivered in SPADES!! Each winery was unique and they were all friendly. We went to Larson, Nicholson and Jamieson wineries. I learned a lot about each wineries process and tasted some good wines. I highly recommend the small more intimate tours of the wine country - you get to know your group and have a fun time with each other.

Elie took our group on the best wine tour we've ever been on! I'm typically a major planner -- but we let Elie plan the entire day for us and everything went better than we could've expected. We got to visit several wineries that we would've never discovered on our own-- each so beautiful and charming. The staff at every winey was knowledgable and welcoming. He took pictures for our group the whole day and had such a positive vibe. We got to picnic in front of a sprawling vineyard, taste on a private patio, and see horses and wildlife on a ranch. He picked us up right on time in the city and we didn't have to worry about a thing all day! Thanks for everything-- we will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed the tour, and our guide Jeffrey was fun & informative.I did feel as though he was more welcoming & engaging towards other guest, so I did feel a bit left out. I liked the locations we visited, but didn't love them. I would've liked to have visited some more picturesque vineyards. I did appreciate Homewood Winery's in depth tasting tho! Getting picked up & dropped back off at the hotel was a huge plus.

We had a great day with Phill. He taught us a lot about the history of San Francisco. We love his energy. the wineries are incredible and the tastings add a lot of knowledge! Petter Cellars are the best!!!

I absolutely cannot say enough nice things about Dylan and our tour experience for the Napa/Sonoma combo tour. I can see why this company gets so many 5 star reviews. One minor complaint, but it is so minor, it didn't really affect my experience, so let's get that out of the way: the seating on the van is tight and not super comfy. A more traditional 2 by 2 seating would be better than the side bench seating (one row on each side of the van, one in the back). But let's move on to the good, shall we? First of all Dylan. What a rockstar. He knows a lot, and he is funny, friendly, and detail-oriented. I can imagine the planning it must take to pick up six different parties at six different hotels/residences spread out all over the entire city. But he did it in a clear and logical order. He had some really interesting facts. I learned some stuff and I would absolutely take another one of his tours. He also bought us some cheese/salami/crackers at the first winery to snack on because we had awhile before lunch, and we were running a teeny bit behind (no fault of his though.) He also had great taste in music. He even gave me a mix CD that the owner of the company compiled, made up of a bunch of San Francisco themed mucicians and songs. They also put some thought into local recommendations and gave us all a "cheat sheet" about good local spots to visit in the bay area. We stopped at the foot of the Golden Gate bridge for some awesome photo ops, a potty break, and we were on our way! The wineries were great selections: Larson, Nicholson, and Jaimison. I liked Nicholson the best. It reminded me of what Italy should look like. The fertile vinyards and the rolling hills. There was plenty of water and a few essentials, like a corkscrew! I bought a bottle of wine to drink with my lunch (don't worry- I shared it), and I was able to open it right after leaving the bus, to avoid a corking fee at Oxbow market. Oxbow market is a cool stop. There is something for everyone here! We were there for just the right amount of time before moving on to our last winery. I am going to recommend this tour to anyone. I am not even a huge wine drinker! But guess what? I learned more about it and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this day. Thank you so much, guys. You made my green dream come true.

I am a little late sharing this.. but a couple of weeks ago now.. my fiancée and I decided to visit Napa and Sonoma wineries through Green Dream Tours. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by a driver named Jeffery. Jeffery was very knowledgeable on this tour and had us laughing the whole time! He made sure we could take great photos, view the Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoyed every winery we stopped at. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is from or not from the area. The team is great and you will have a great time!

My partner and I had such a wonderful time on our Napa Valley tour. Our guide, Ned, was knowledgeable and all around a really nice guy to be around. Pickup was very convenient as the bus came around to each of our hotels, which was important for us as we are definitely not morning people! : ) The group size of just over 10 people was perfect for us. There was enough time for everyone in the group to ask questions at each stop as well as get to know each other one on one. It seemed everyone adored the wine they got to try (tastings are included in the tour) and many decided to purchase some bottles. If you are on the fence about trying out this tour, I say go for it! It is a fun way to spend the day and you will leave knowing an extra thing or two about wine. Thanks so much Green Dream Tours!

Jeffrey was the best tour guide! We went on the Sonoma-Napa combo tour after thanksgiving 2020. He was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He picked us up exactly on time, and it was like we knew each other for years. The wineries were amazing. Jeffrey took a bunch of pictures and sent them to our small group. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd time using Green Dream for a wine tour. This was our 12yr anniversary trip and we did the Sonoma trip this time. We loved it! Dylan was our tour guide and he was awesome! He was informative, funny and he played some great tunes! On the Sonoma only tour you get a boxed picnic lunch at the Larson Winery which was really great. Good way to relax, take in the scenery and get to know the other travelers. Highly recommend this company.

We took two tours with Green Dream during our stay in San Fransisco - a full day in Napa with Elie and a full day in Sonoma with Jeffrey. Both experiences were wonderful!! All 6 wineries we went to were superb, both in wine and ambiance! Elie and Jeffrey were both fantastic tour guides and made the experience all the better. We would recommend green dreams to all of our family and friends!

Wonderful Experience with A Taste of SF Tours - Highly Recommend!…read more We recently went on a Muir Woods tour with A Taste of SF Tours, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our guide, Peter, was excellent--professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He even texted us the night before to confirm the pickup time and location, which we really appreciated. Peter arrived right on time and emphasized his goal to start early in order to avoid traffic, secure good parking at Muir Woods, and get ahead of the crowds. Sure enough, his planning paid off--we bypassed a traffic slowdown near Mt. Tam, parked conveniently close to the entrance, and entered the park well ahead of the busier groups. This gave us a more peaceful experience and allowed us to take stunning photos without too many people in the background. By the time we were finishing the loop, crowds were just starting to arrive--perfect timing! We had plenty of time to soak in the natural beauty, enjoy the crisp morning air, and take in the quiet serenity of Muir Woods before it got busy. After our walk, Peter took us to Sausalito, where we had the option to either return with him to San Francisco or take the ferry back to Pier 39 or the Ferry Building. We chose the ferry so we could explore Sausalito more leisurely, enjoy a delicious lunch by the bay, and do a bit of shopping. It was a perfect way to end the day. Even though Peter has only been leading tours in SF for six months, he impressed us with how much he knew about San Francisco, Marin, Sausalito, and Muir Woods--he never ran out of interesting facts and stories. He's also a great driver, which helped ease my nerves on the winding road up to Muir Woods. (He mentioned he used to be a Grand Canyon tour guide, so he's clearly experienced with mountain roads!) As a side note, I've lived in San Francisco for 20 years, and this was my first time visiting Muir Woods on a tour. I had avoided driving there myself because of the twisty roads, but taking this tour was the best decision. It was stress-free, enjoyable, and gave me a whole new appreciation for this beautiful spot just outside the city. Highly recommend this tour to both visitors and locals looking for a relaxed, informative, and well-organized way to experience Muir Woods!

One thing I appreciated was how professional they were. When I reached out via email to get added to a tour they responded pretty quickly. Then, once the date and time we're confirmed they sent me a confirmation. Our tour guide (Peter) texted us the day before to confirm the time he would pick us up by the Zeppelin hotel. We parked in a garage right next door to it and it was $18 since we entered by 730. He showed up early and we went off to the next pick up spot. The shuttle was full but comfortable. We got to see some great sites. It was nice to check out the Golden Gate Bridge from a different angle. The Muir Woods were beautiful!!! Thanks to Peter, we got there early before all of the crowds that were coming in as we were leaving. Sausalito was a nice area. We had a really nice time on this tour and would do a tour with this company again.

We visited 3 winery's, 2 that we wanted to go to, the other she recommended. I would recommend going with her recommendations since it was my favorite winery's of the day. She picked us up on time (8am, she was there early) from our hotel and we headed out the the Muir Woods. The woods are so magical with the amazing redwood trees that were HUGE. After the woods we headed to our first winery. Stagsly vineyards is a bigger winery with some great Cabernets. Their tasting room was beautiful and overlooked the massive vineyards. Next we went for lunch at Gotts. This place had some seriously delicious burgers and tacos. Everyone in my family got burgers and I got shrimp tacos that were very fresh and tasty. Their special Mexican street corn was also one of our favorites. After we went to Ambers winery recommendation that was soldero. This was a smaller boutique type vineyard. We started our tasting with a tour of the property and their new rose that will be launching in July. The rose was our favorite. We were also able to go down on the vineyard and see the plants which I thought was very cool. The staff was friendly and sat chatting with us down in their tasting room. Finally we stopped by Cuvason which had such a classy atmosphere. Beautiful indoor and outdoor tasting. They started us off with a complimentary rose champagne. After we tasted a savigon Blanc, another rose, and 2 Cabernets. Again would recommend the rose, however I still think the new one from our second stop was best. All in all we had an amazing time with amber she was a fantastic tour guide and helped us to not only learn about wine country and the Muir Woods but also new wines.
