I discovered this…read morelocation maybe 12 years ago and at the time it was a gold mine, I used to leave with arms full of purchases. I check in there about once a month now and must times I leave empty handed. The vinyl section is still robust but ever since records starting making a comeback the prices have jumped outlandishly. I see records for sale there that I bought for half the price. The CD section seems to be dwindling down which is depressing for me to see. There used to be a large shelf filled with box sets that has disappeared. The prices for new CDs have also jumped substantially, which is odd for a format that has become dormant. Years ago it was a 5 star store but now it's a 3 for me personally.

They have fun events including listening parties for new albums and do a great job with record store day. Their record store days throughout the years have been fun. They usually have several copies of popular releases and a very large inventory of used cds, records, and dvds. You can definitely spend some time here and find a gem. You've just got to be patient and look for it!

The frustration was quite noticeable so I asked what the big deal was and all of a sudden I was getting yelled at by the "tough guy" Manager stating I wasn't allowed in the store anymore...the worst part was he made a reference saying "he was better off than me" because he wasn't the one trading in a console...I couldn't believe it I was shocked. True stereotypical behavior from privileged condescending people...whatever happened with Good Customer Service skills? Perhaps it shouldn't be a career choice if you're not good at it...

They are organized in sections by genre but still allow for hunting which makes it fun! Ready for the best part??? Almost everything in the store is only $2!!!! We ended up buying a few records - I found some things in the 99c bins which were Arthur Fiedler (former Boston Pops conductor) conducting the orchestra and also pianists, and my husband found an album for $10 he bought. They do take credit cards here and there's no fee to do so. They also have CDs and cassette tapes here, and a huge selection of records and record paraphernalia. I would stop by again when in town.
