I knew a furniture piece wouldn't fit in my car and a greyish/blond grouch with glasses and a scowl, scoffed and rolled her eyes at another associate when I suggested how to position it. The cashier was no better. Everyone encountered was awful. One woman was sitting on a step stool stocking shelves and complaining as she did so. Not a pleasant shopping experience.

Today, I asked an associate a simple question about the location of an item in the store. She could not be bothered to stop her task to help. She told me it was in the storage department but did not stop her task to show me specifically where. When I returned, and asked for help a second time, she ignored me when I said, "Excuse me," and then got angry, snotty and aggressive when I addressed her again. She must have realized how in the wrong she was because she then began following me! The manager on duty said she would address the situation, but I'm afraid I won't be back to shop in this store. I would rather drive a little further to a store where the staff are friendly, kind and helpful rather than nasty and disrespectful. My son and I went into this store to treat ourselves today--and left feeling sad and unwelcome. Home Goods--you lost a regular customer, today. I hope your staff can learn to leave their personal issues at the door and come in to work with positive attitudes in the future.

When a customer presents a kohls coupon to be applied to their account and the manager decides ( she doesn't agree) she intentionally held up the transaction, because she (Lydia) wants to tell the customer all about how she feels, to include telling the customer, oh you want twenty dollars, do you want me to "go in my purse and grab twenty dollars" in efforts to disrespect and humiliate the customer, she should be relieved from her job. This was All stated in front of the Asst Manager Sara. Sara had to calm Lydia down. Lydia stood behind her assistant manager and proceeded to Antagonize a customer service Nightmare and she is the Manager? When Sara came to finish the transaction, she said "Oh its all done"..So Lydia wanted to keep me their with my credit card in her hand to continue an unhealthy debate..."Wow" I have been a Loyal Kohls customer for 20 years. I have filed a complaint on line, and over the phone. Please contact me as there is more to the story. By the way I purchase $800 worth of clothing and I was told " who cares". We have a family coastal cottage which needed to be revamped and brought into the 21st century.
