The reason why was supposed to be a shortage of people. I have twice declined the purchase as I feel it's a waste to put a dessert in a plastic container and a fork in plastic when I am eating it here. So roughly $15 in gross sales lost over not wanting to use plates and put them in the dishwasher. Don't need to be an MBA to get that.

Staff are friendly and actually seem to know (or want to help you find) what you're looking for, which is something I don't take for granted. No blank stares or "I guess?" answers when I ask about a genre or game system. What I love most is that it doesn't feel like a chain store experience. It feels local, personal, and like a place that rewards curiosity. Whether I'm picking up a book I've had my eye on, discovering an album I forgot I wanted, or grabbing something neat for someone else, I always leave feeling like it was time well spent. While sure to get fans nitpicking (Manson doesn't qualify as industrial, if you ask me) it also represents the little shop's big dedication to a quality customer experience. Also inside you can find VHS tapes, old school video games, locally roasted coffee beans, and a shop cat. He coordinates well with the overall theme of the store and will give you little love nips when you pet him. Don't overlook the plain black shop exterior or be put off if the shop is full of people in various shades of black clothing and band merch - metalheads are some of the nicest people I know, and Wax Moon lives up to that!

I went to the record store to try and find some Led Zeppelin or other bands I may like after i'm in the store for less than five minutes, he asked me if had found anything I wanted I replied with Some lead zeppelin and i'm looking for houses of the holy and I see it. There's a sticky note on the plastic that says it's an original pressing realizing, it's a first pressing. I want to make sure it's not scratched up to s*** so I take the sleeve off. I'm looking at the artwork. I'm opening the full gated sleeve. I take the vinyl and the protective original sleeve that's around it. And this stupid owner comes over. And hey, don't take it out of the packaging. I apologize because cause I was caught on guard. I then reply with, oh, I'm sorry I just wanted to look at it. And he doesn't reply, and then he says to me, are you a serious buyer? Do you even want this? And I'm trying to explain to him I do, but I wanna know if it's in good condition, and he doesn't respond to any of that. So I'm like, wow, this s*** sucks. And I didn't even take the vinyl out of the protective sleeve at all. He only got mad at me because I sat the artwork down on the protective. Sleeve on top of a stack of other vinyls, so I'm kind of p*****. So please don't shop at this store and everything's overpriced out the wazoo and he also has a lot of insensitive t-shirts with Inappropriate symbols and anatomy

I honestly thought the store went extinct!!!…read more I used to live FYE as a teen I'd come browse cds for hours listening to everything from Hansen to AC/DC to spice girls or even the newest Christian rap they had everything and these really cool headphones you could wear to listen I bought my first ever cd here well a different location but same store I think it was **NSYNC but it was an upgrade from my billy ray cyrus cassette id outplayed lol Now fye is a little different you have movies like dvds which have become endangered it seems and even a small music selection But nowadays they specialize in fandom products like collectible figurines and themed drinks from Back to the future and popular anime's They also have hard to find candy and treats and even giant gummies They have shirts and stuffies definitely a place to find gifts for everyone It's a mix of nostalgia and fanboy overall still a fun experience

But I have been in contact both in person and over the phone with the staff in regard to preordering/reserving product for the Gundam Card Game. I was given a price several times both in person and over the phone which I felt was a fair price, however I get a call today and the price is all of a sudden $800 more than what was communicated. Granted the price given to me originally was under MSRP and I even offered to pay MSRP for the product however the store was not willing to budge at all from their market price. I understand that employees can make mistakes and give out misinformation but as a business honoring an employees word or at least meeting a customer in the middle of a bad situation seems reasonable. However they chose to say hey it's the marked up price or nothing. I'm not saying not to do business here but educate yourself on their policies and practices before spending your money here.
