This is the perfect place to get records, band merch, and other select oddities that music heads can get down with. If you're ever in the Norfolk area this is an awesome stop on your tour. Steve is absolutely congenial, helpful and honest. He also knows his stuff and will talk to you about it for as long as you want to. Been there since 1982 and I hope it goes strong for long into the future. P.S. disregard all of the negative reviews. The people that have bad reviews have them for a reason, and it isn't this stores fault. It's theirs.

Please keep mobile device to a minimum? Um why? So I can't look up prices & order online, instead? No thanks.

Don't "waste your time". Never been here, didn't look the place up (should have). Just happened to drive past on a weekend and had time to kill. Maybe because I'm not from here, I've never seen a store like this locked up. There's a ring door bell you hit to be let in. After 5:30 you need an appointment . Novices or people who have never been should make an appointment?! What pretentious BS! I rang the bell. Was greeted in a kind of hostile manner. Was asked what I was looking for...Um...records? Told him I like to go to records stores and see what old vinyls they have, maybe catch a bargain bin, or sale. Expand my musical horizons but I'm not looking for any particular album, as my collection is rather large. "That's last century", "I'm in it to win it" was his literal response. Wild. I almost left on the spot, I should have because there wasn't much there. They had a couple cool older presses and they did have almost one of each album for most of the artists. Mostly everything was wrapped new, easily attainable online and priced higher than you can get at Walmart, though. I'm not from the area, so I don't know if this is normal but I have shopped around at stores when I travel, and have never hit a store like this. Vibe was totally off, completely ruined the experience of shopping at a vinyl store, which is something I like to do on a day off, for the activity. If I didn't, I would just buy online. After looking around for a bit, I said thanks, have a nice day as I was walking out. The guy I'm assuming owns the store, says "Sorry to waste your time" in the rudest, most sarcastic way possible. I'm from the Midwest and noticing a trend around here. Needless to say though, I won't be back and will advise people to shop elsewhere. I don't leave a lot of reviews but Holy hell, that was so weird, pretentious and completely unnecessary that I just had to.

I dont remember the name of the girl working the store that day, but she was extremely knowledgeable in games and toys. I described to her a game and she was able to identify the name of the game IMMEDIATELY and knew exactly where to find the game in the store. She definitely impressed me! She also told me which games were further discounted even though they were not marked to show an additional discount. I really liked her. They have toys here for one person or more. They have educational games, puzzle games, travel games, everything you can think of!!!! Definitely recommend coming here if you need a game you can rarely find. I definitely found some games here where I had gone out of my way to do internet searches for to buy them online. If only I lived close enough to shop here often!

I think they have about 15 versions of the Monopoly game alone. Also, the staff here know what they are talking about, they are very smart about all the games in the stores and can pretty much answer any question you may have. The prices here are pretty good but the selection is outta this world. Puzzles, board games, education games, travel games, kid games, adult games, the list could go on and on. Check Go! out.

We received a humiliating lecture in not reading the receipt which has 8 different store credit policy that makes no sense considering this store appears to be a small vendor that relies on thr community to keep the doors open. But the icing in the cake was the store manager I believe, he didn't announce his role, slipped out of his mouth that most niggers can't read as the cashier was preparing the cash back return for the item after saying he will allow it this one time. I guess he decided to break his own policy that is written on his receipt of no cash back returns - only store credit by how huge my eyes got when I heard the horrible word come out of his mouth. I will never return and I feel sorry for the African American male store cashier that works there for his calm and kind demeanor is what made me purchase in the first place. I will also be reporting this place to the BBB as well, maybe I don't know how to read how to make sure racists store receives reviews that hurt them just like they hurt their customers.

They sell different vegan dishes and most have what they call kush in them. It seems to be some sort of grain, but I really don't know. But I do like it. They have Alfredo, nachos, Mac n cheese, desserts, and smoothies. Some of the food is reasonable and some is pricey. A few desserts were $10-$15. I wanted to try them, but not for that price. We placed our order and looked around the store. They have updated the store/restaurant, so it's a more modern vibe. You can read books or hang out inside, so that's cool. The restroom was clean. There was plenty of seating to dine in. The store side sells books, crystals, jewelry, and more!! The cashier and cook were both very friendly!! I'm not vegan so I stick to what taste familiar to me to be safe. The chili is good, you wouldn't even know it's vegan. Definitely get the vegan nacho cheese to kick it up a notch. It also comes with chips. The alfredo came with veggies and kush. I'm glad it was saucy. I got it fully loaded so it came with a hash brown on top also. It was pretty good, but could use a little more seasoning to elevate the taste.. The last time I ate here the portions were a little larger, they seem to be noticeably smaller this time, so that's the only difference I've noticed. The kush usually confuses my stomach for a few days afterwards. It also may make you feel full faster but, I think it's worth trying. If your a vegan you should check them out, but even if you're not you can probably find something to try! Check them out!!

Over the past few years, my lactose intolerance has ramped up, which makes each chance to indulge in one of my all-time favorite treats--milkshakes--feel like a true celebration. With an incredible 15 flavors to choose from, I couldn't resist the Bakoko (butter pecan ice cream) temptation. It was amazing--rich, smooth, and creamy, all made from almond milk! Each sip brought back such sweet nostalgia, reminding me of the butter pecan ice cream my parents adored. And let me tell you about the sweet potato cheesecake--it whisked me right back to my Southern grandmother's kitchen, blending the comforting embrace of her baking with the delightful taste of cheesecake. I savored these heavenly desserts for nearly a week, relishing every moment!
