July 19, 2025 I was scammed at this store!!
Do not give your license to this "red haired woman" named LIZ, and pay with cash so she does not save you credit/debit card in the system for auto payments of $11.99 to come out of your bank account!!!
The Manager, Liz should be fired and charged with theft! She is sneaky. She omits the truth when checking out the customers in this store! She sneaks in the company's promo as receiving rewards and she checks you out asking if you would like to save 10% without informing the you fully of what you are actually signing up for, then at the end of the sale, tells you to read the receipt after she scans your license that you think is being used for your address to be upload to their system for these "so called" rewards. She is rude, abrupt and dismissive. One this day, after my purchase, I sat down on a bench outside the store and read my receipt! To my shock, I learned that not only did she upload my license, she also saved my debit card in the system, and I had actually signed up for a free 30 day free trial for this reward system and then after the 30 days, I would have to pay $11.99 per month to continue being a loyalty reward receiver!!!! WHAT!!!
I'm marched back into the store and told this woman that I did not agree to sign up for this and what she actually did was fraudulent by saving my debit card to the system for automatic withdrawals that I did not agree to, and her response was ignorant, rude, and above all not acceptable! With an attitude, she grabbed an advertisement card about the promo, circled a portion with vigilance on the back of the card that had small print on it, and told me that she couldn't do anything about it that I needed to handle it myself by emailing the circled email to cancel this membership that I never agreed to signed up!!! I became angry and told her that it should not be my responsibility since she had omitted the truth and that she should be the one who needed to take care of it, and she ignored the issue and told me that she needed to get back to her customers
Be for warned that the company is very much aware of this and has done nothing about this at all!!
I am not the first person and I will not be the last until she is personally fired! I found out a little bit of history about the manager, named LIZ, from this store and it is appalling! Apparently, she worked at the Morristown store and did the same thing over and over and over again to unexpected customers! As the employees are encouraged to gain memberships from the customers, the average employee gets maybe 10 a month, but this woman rakes in over 100 new memberships a month because she scams the customers! By Basically signing customers up, unknowing, for that $11.99 to be automatically take out of their bank account without their knowledge because of her omitting the truth! I can tell you that if she would have told me the truth from the beginning, I would've said No! But here we are and now she has been at this store for six years working at the Cherry Hill store after being at the Moorestown store, that has closed down, doing the same thing that corporate already knows about and has done nothing!
This store should be boycotted! And other employees, that are loyal to the company, and honest with the customers, be reassigned to fill the gap immediately!
I don't know exactly how many past customers have found this out after the fact, or how many customers are unknowingly having $11.99 come out of their bank accts, but anyone who has shopped there needs to do an investigation into their bank accounts to see if you are having auto withdraws happening that you did not know about! Because that woman has scammed you, and you can rest assure I won't be letting this go!
I will be reaching out to every single corporate employee available to hear this and request action to be taken immediately!
