The new owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and are curating quite a deep selection of desirable discs, all impeccably organized and labeled. Best yet, these labels show not only the standard quality grades but also other important details. As I walked in they were just putting out a large batch of immaculate Japanese pressings of 70s and 80s rock and jazz recordings, all in NM condition complete with obi bands. As I'm primarily interested in sound quality, I was truly in heaven. And it gets better... I was able to audition all my potential purchases on their quite decent system, all of which I bought, and they sound flawless on my very high resolution system. Note: the prices marked seemed very fair (Japanese imports in NM condition are normally very pricey) but I my case they discounted the price considerably because I bought three albums.

Good Barnes & Noble location and store…read more If you know Barnes & Noble, then you already know what to expect with layout and the like. While I do tend to buy books of course, I usually always pay the movie section a visit. Physical media of any kind is always good (and important) and I do collect movies like a fiend. For movies, this one has a pretty generous area and selection. Any staff I encountered were friendly, which includes both times I went to the register. This B&N shares the land with other businesses, but parking is ample. I'm glad B&N has held on.

But I find it weird that every single time I leave this store- I feel fatigue, dizzy and not well. It's only when I visit this Barnes and noble for an hour (I like staring at books) but without a doubt, I just feel fatigue to the point I always have to drive home. I don't know if it's just me about the fatigue/dizzy/unwell part. Maybe there is mold or maybe something in their carpet? I am not sure. Other than that I really like the service and the small cafe.

The new store feels more like a mix of pop culture merchandise than the music-focused spot it used to be. While it's colorful and has plenty of things to browse, it doesn't capture the same energy or atmosphere the old store had. Back when FYE was down at the other end of the mall, it was all about music. Rows of CDs, posters, and the thrill of discovering a new album made it a hangout spot for teens like me. It wasn't just shopping, it was part of growing up--meeting friends, flipping through racks, and walking out with something you couldn't wait to listen to. The new version just doesn't bring back that same feeling. It's fine for what it is now, but it will never replace the memory of the old FYE that was such a big part of being a teenager.

I asked an employee where to find romantasy. She blinked twice, muttered something about "over there," and vanished like a ghost in a YA novel. The café? I ordered a cappuccino. What I got was dishwater wearing a foam hat. Also, it took **20 minutes**. There were three baristas, and all of them appeared to be arguing over who was least qualified to use the espresso machine. To top it off, the cashier line was run by a group of sloths on a lunch break. Moral of the story? Support your local indie bookstores. At least there, when you're lost, someone helps you without sighing.

The layout of the Barnes was great. In the center of the store is the cafe with plenty of seating all around, which is needed because this place always seemed to be busy (for a bookstore). I was genuinely comfortable and felt like I could get my work done with little distraction outside of hushed conversation and coffee making in the background. The store itself was very clean and neat. I had no idea Barnes & Noble started selling Vinyl records which, I admittedly don't collect, but was great to see they're trying to adapt to popular culture and stay relevant in an era of iTunes and other digital purchasing platforms. Another standout was the cleanliness of the bathroom and attentiveness of the staff. I always saw someone walking around picking things up, asking if someone needed help and checking the bathrooms. Overall my favorite spot to get some afternoon work done while visiting Moorestown, NJ. Maybe you'll see me in there one day! If so, stop and say hi!

This store is adorable! They have so many books, so many sections and subsections! There is parking…read morein the front, and elsewhere around the little strip area of shops. If you pull in, you do end up backing onto a busy road so leave with caution. As I said, they have a great selection. There are four rooms of boons, each section is clearly labeled and occasional thematic decor. There are also occasional benches so you can sit and debate which books you want to "adopt". They're used, but gently and each has a price lower then the face value written inside. They also have the largest selection of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys I've ever seen. Its all very impressive.
