Again, I like to dig, but in these circumstances I don't want to pay boutique prices- they wanted $10-15 for 12" records I can get near-mint on discogs for $5. They should consider charging less considering the amount of labor they are putting on the customer. I pulled out a pile of about 20 records but put back 10 because they were scratched and skipped out on 9 more because I could get them cheaper elsewhere. Came out with one record and filthy fingers. There are thousands and thousands of records, cassettes, 8 tracks, CDs, and audio equipment everywhere in this store however - almost like a hoarder house there are pathways carved out of these records and you have to one foot in front of the other carefully walk through without tripping. In the case of an emergency (god forbid) I wouldn't want customer or employee alike to be placed in a bad situation because of how unmanaged and chaotic this establishment is.

I could not believe how much the store has expanded over the years, including an annex two doors down that houses thousands of CDs. The amount of inventory here is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. As a music collector, it honestly felt like I had died and gone to heaven. No matter what genre you enjoy, there is an incredible amount to explore. I was especially excited to find a large selection of leftover Record Store Day titles, including two rare releases that I was thrilled to add to my collection. I also came across many original pressings of 1980s LPs and 12" singles, along with a huge number of CDs in the annex, including several out-of-print titles that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Everywhere I looked, there were hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Atlantic Sounds is the kind of record store where you could easily spend an entire day -- or several days -- browsing and still not see everything they have to offer. I am so glad to see how much they have grown and expanded since my last visit. It remains an absolute paradise for music lovers and collectors.

I love coming here for a quick coffee or veggie bagel, but the atmosphere and ambiance take the cake. This local, second hand bookshop is inclusive to everyone. Everything is fairly priced.
