This is a large used bookstore with clearly marked sections, a public restroom (that has seen…read morebetter days) and ample free parking. It is not near a major highway. All books are from 2015 or later, no paradise for resellers looking for antiques, plus for used they're already marked up compared to other places I have been including library sales. The benefit is the wide selection. They also have DVDs and other media. Went to check this out as it is the largest used bookstore in the state but am unlikely to return due to the distance from home. If I lived in the area I would go back. My go to for books is the library but I was buying for two other people, one who lacks transportation and one who has mobility issues. They also buy books.

Loved everything about this store!! My kind of place and sad I haven't know about it sooner! First…read morethoughts I had was everyone should be shopping here when buying gifts, especially for kids! Endless amount of comics, old & new. I found an issue of a comic I've been collecting for many years so was very excited to add it! Plus the re-release of it! So excited to read. If I had kids this is where I would be choosing for them to get their books. Plenty of CD's, DVDs and Rock and Roll vinyls I purchased upstairs, the guy behind the counter was so nice and talking to other locals with kids digging through the 10/$1 pokemon card bins. Was so friendly with me and informative. Was happy with what I paid. Went downstairs and browsed through the toys, I wasn't to afford a toy I wanted this time around but hoping when I come back I can! I also had a feeling I would find this figurine I missed out many years ago and beat myself up for constantly. Didn't find it this time around but when I go back if it's not so busy I will ask if they've seen. Downside is I had to drive around looking for some street parking since they don't have a lot. It was a busy Saturday, but finally found one. Also the aisles are a little tight, there were some times I felt trapped or couldn't get by people. But they're doing the best they can with the layout!

This is an amazing shop that I'm using for my sports card needs that I recently found not too far…read morefrom my home. It's a throwback to a bygone era but they have certainly kept up with the times by offering non-sports cards and plenty of tournaments that the younger generation love playing in the back. I hate that I can't remember the name of the owner but he is an angel. Always smiling, always friendly and happy to help you find whatever you need. I can see why they have remained in business for so long because they are keen on the customer service end and it's part of the reason I continue going back time and time again. I've picked up baseball card hobby boxes on release day that are like 20-40% less than what you can get them at the bigger online retailers or eBay. He doesn't jack up prices just because a product is "hot". Some do come in waves that are higher the second and third time around from the wholesaler but as long as you get in on something early, these prices are tough to beat. They carry supplies, a wide array of boxes and packs, sport and non-sport cards galore. And even some albums you can go through of local RedSox, Pats, Bruins and Celtics. I honestly don't know what more you could want from a hobby shop in this day and age. When people flock to the internet for their cardboard, we forget there is a human angle to it that BU does better than 99% of the other shops. I can almost guarantee you won't leave here unhappy if you are a collector.

As far as I can tell from today's visit, Record Exchange has nearly everything one might be seeking…read moreat music store. Plenty of vinyl, used and new, as well as CDs. I'm a CD guy so I took note of the fact that most used CDs ran from $6 - $8, with a few out of print ones or imports going for $10+. Plenty of CD box sets to choose from as well. I didn't notice any other music mediums (cassettes, 8 tracks, etc) but perhaps they were hidden somewhere that I missed. As for the store itself, the place is outfitted floor to ceiling with music so while one might be waiting in line or looking for the next place to wander the eyes will inevitably find something music-based to look at. The two older men working there (one whose name was Paul, didn't catch the other) were very friendly and talkative. They actually quizzed each other from time to time about bands, songs, etc while I was there. It was a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Certainly worth a stop!
