Dr Michael Pitter (RIP) was my Doctor who performed this masterful work. The nursing staff was simply divine with their TLC, compassion and professionalism kindness towards me. I was preparing to have my Mammogram and Ultrasound done. However, I was informed by my scheduler at Columbia Doctors that I needed my images from my last mammogram (2014) with Hackensack University Medical Center. Today, nothing has changed with the remarkable, caring, positive staffers, that give TLC as their standard. A professional body of heartwarming staff at Hackensack University Medical Center. I called and requested my images. They returned the call the next day, and my images and report were ready. I drove to NJ, got my ticket stamped for free parking from the Breast Cancer Screening Center. Dropped off my images to Columbia Doctors on West 51st Street in the heart of Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall (so cool). At the end of the movie, it was a joyous experience that made me feel truly gratefully happy and cared for by Hackensack University Medical Center and Columbia Doctors/NY Presbyterian Hospital. I absolutely give 5 stars to the day time nurses I had during my time in 3LW. The night shift I cannot say the same. I felt avoided and ignored entirely at night other than them waking me up for blood work and vitals roughly. For two days I dealt with nonsense and excuses just waiting for an MRI brain scan. Finally one of the APNs was able to escalate my MRI up about 8 hours earlier. I came to Hackensack because they're supposed to have an amazing triage process and broad range of care. I had seen and witnessed so many patients with non emergency issues coming to the hospital and passing me over for things they should be going to an urgent care or their normal PCP for. After 3 days I left with zero diagnosis or information about my condition. A complete waste of my time coming here.

After completing Radiofrequency Ablation procedures, Dr. Garrison assured me that my medical concerns were resolved and recommended cosmetic treatment for my spider veins--two sclerotherapy sessions and one laser session. Trusting his expertise, I agreed. I underwent a laser treatment that resulted in two severe burns on my legs. Both developed large blisters that ruptured the same day, leaking fluid. Despite following all aftercare instructions, the wounds remained open, wet, and required dressing changes multiple times per day for weeks. I had to seek emergency care at an urgent care facility, where the doctor advised me to immediately contact MetroVein Centers because my wounds were clearly the result of an improperly performed laser procedure. When I returned to MetroVein Centers that same day, the medical assistant was visibly horrified at my injuries and directly asked if Dr. Garrison had caused them. When Dr. Garrison entered the room, he looked scared, knowing something had gone terribly wrong. He provided me with bandages and medication and tried to brush it off as something that "happens." However, he knew he had made a serious mistake and promised me free future sclerotherapy sessions--clearly as an attempt to pacify me. I spent the entire summer covering my wounds, changing bandages multiple times per day, and watching my burns turn into permanent scars. Eventually, a dermatologist confirmed my scars were irreversible. When I reached out to MetroVein Centers, Dr. Garrison was suddenly dismissive and unprofessional. He initially refused to honor his promise, offering only one free session--not because he felt obligated, but because he thought I was a "nice person." This was not only insulting but a blatant refusal to take accountability. After I left the office, I received a call informing me that I would actually receive two free sessions. It was only after I mentioned consulting a lawyer that Dr. Garrison finally agreed to provide the free sclerotherapy sessions he had originally promised. I went forward based on that agreement and received two free sessions. However, after those two treatments, MetroVein Centers went back on their word and demanded payment for any further sessions. When I asked to speak with Dr. Garrison, I saw him in the office, but staff refused to let me talk to him. Instead, I received a vague call from a MetroVein representative who downplayed my burns as a "side effect"--when in reality, this was clear medical negligence. Dr. Garrison has since stopped performing cosmetic procedures at MetroVein Centers, which speaks volumes about what happened in my case. However, his actions, and the way MetroVein Centers handled this situation, should not be ignored. If you are considering MetroVein Centers, especially for cosmetic procedures, I urge you to think twice. A clinic that injures a patient, refuses to take responsibility, and tries to dismiss serious complications as routine side effects is a clinic that does not prioritize patient safety. Weeks have passed, and I have received no further communication from MetroVein Centers. While I have chosen not to pursue legal action, I refuse to remain silent. Potential patients deserve to know the truth. I have officially filed a complaint with the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and NJ Consumer Affairs, and I encourage others to report their experiences if they have suffered similar mistreatment. They moved me to another room. Samething, everyone so nice. Now, I am on the 3rd floor. The nurse i had very very nice but her shift was over andd she left. Now, the nurse I have now. I caught name, Kimberly. Very nice too. Soft spoken, kind and very helpful. She brought me everything I needed, medicine , supplies. She made sure I have the oxygen on and brought me walker. Very caring young lady. I asked her to adjust the room tempure . She did and sanitized everything around. I truly don't know how much can I praise her but if everyone is like her this would be number one hospital in the nation. Great job Kimbery. God bless you and i hope all wishes come true. As a family member showed up at the nurses station to get an update on his condition, they were greeted by a nurse who had a very poor command of the English language. After a few attempts It was understood that she would contact the nurse who is attending to my father. After an hour we visited the nurses station again because the attending nurse never came to see us. After another hour the nurse finally came to inform us of his condition. They did stabilize him. When we returned in the morning he was completely soaked in his own urine, as nobody attended to him the entire evening. My father told us he made repeated attempts to get someone to clean him up, but no one would help. So we ended cleaning ourselves. Here we go again and this is the reason why Holy Name Hospital has such a low rating!…read more Back in August 2025 my son responded there after being in a motor vehicle accident and bumping his head just to get checked out to make sure he was fully OK The waiting area for the emergency trauma section was not terribly busy but he had waited nearly an hour to be seen. After being brought into the nurses station area they took his pulse and his blood pressure and were taking his temperature when the nurse walked away and did not come back for over 15 minutes with the thermometer in his mouth. When she did she went to do something else from what he says and didn't respond back to him for nearly 20 minutes at which time he got up and left because in his terms it was unreasonable to be treated in that manner especially after hitting his head and something could've been seriously wrong with him. After a month and a half we received a notice from the hospital billing that they were not paid for a $600 bill so at that time we submitted the bill to our insurance company GEICO and we began to have issues because Holy Name refused to submit the appropriate bill with itemized services so that GEICO could appropriately pay the bill. This went on two more times with the HOSPITAL refusing to submit the proper bill. In early December 2025 for the second time I contacted my auto insurance company GEICO who took holy names phone number in personally contacted them and my adjuster Joelle assured me that the bill would get paid because she had spoken to holy name. Fast-forward to April seventh 2026 and now my son is getting bills from a legal team collections stating that holy name was never paid and they are collecting for them well you have to contacting GEICO they advise me that after two person the person called phone calls the hospital still has not submitted an itemized bill for them to pay otherwise they would've paid it promptly. The insurance company explained to me that many times these bills are created in fraud and need to be verified and sent with the proper treatments with their codes so that the insurance company can pay them and holy name has been refusing so far to comply with the normal standards yet they're doing everything to avoid paying the bill in the appropriate manner meanwhile screwing my sons credit record up.

Last year I was taken to the emergency room at Hackensack University Medical Center. I wanted to…read morego to Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck but because I had fallen and couldn't walk, it was considered "trauma" and I had to go to Hackensack. I lay on a gurney in the Emergency Room for 48 hours. I received no food or drink. Eventually, I was taken to have a cat scan and was told that I had to go home or go to rehab. No orthopedist ever saw me nor would anyone tell me what was wrong. I finally buttonholed someone and asked what was wrong. I was told that I had a "fractured patella". I spent a month in rehab for this condition. When I came home, I saw my doctor who sent me to an orthopedist. It turns out I had a torn quadrucep and needed surgery. I had been advised to sue Hackensack but realized that I would get nothing out of it but satisfaction. Unfortunately, I have heard other stories very similiar to mine. Avoid this place if you can help it!!!!

The technology at this felicity is truly remarkable. I have two herniated disk causing pressure and pinching to my sciatic nerve for 7 months now. And they use this table that expands my hip region, then pumps my legs. I don't know why it works so well but it's some incredible treatment. On my first visit, Dr Carrion did a very thorough exam and some treatment. After that first treatment when I stood up, I let out a big "woah" because I was in awe of how much better I finally felt after 1 treatment. He taught me exercises, ways to get up, stretches for relieve, what positions and motions cause more pressure which was very helpful to know. After just one week of treatment I feel phenomenal. It's also very refreshing to see a medical professional who values natural ways to reduce pain and inflammation before medicine, injections, or surgery. I couldn't recommend this felicity enough. The people are so nice and the work they do is incredible.
