They dont seem to be following the social distancing and limited capacity during the Covid-19 sickness. They dont seem to take in account the call in to go orders in their count of people. The to go order is bogged down and unorganized. Lack of communication between staff members and the kitchen made some orders sit out for a long time with lots of others still waiting. I waited 2 hours for my order. Only after I pinned them down did my order magically appear, with items missing. No offer for a refund or gift card (not that I will return). Our experience with customer service was very good. Helpful nice staff. My cousin had the chicken nacho's and they looked AMAZING! (I'm definitely getting that next time.) I had a chicken taco and grilled fish taco with black beans and rice. My food was just ok. The tacos were kind of bland to me, but the black beans had a nice flavor. I ordered chips and salsa. Not impressed at all with the salsa. I prefer something spicier. Will see if they have that next time. We did order a side of Guacamole, it was AWESOME! Overall, not fabulous food...but not bad. Just walked into Fuzzy's and saw that we could order food in the bar. So we opted on that choice to our dismay. We saw there weren't two seats together, so chose a table. Noticed when we came in the bartender was talking to a couple with their little girl at the bar. We sat down and waited and waited. I walked up to the bar and waited for her to acknowledge me and stop talking. I asked for a menu and was handed one and told to go to the food side to order. I asked her why it said " Food and bar" this side? She replied she could take the food order but there was no waitress. As I turned to walk away, my friend watched her roll her eyes at my back! Needless to say, my friend who is visiting from CA was pissed. We immediately got up and walked out. She never noticed.... I guess she could care less up about their business and tip! So, we went down the street to Torchy's Tacos and have been waited on since walking in by Indy and Carley with wonderful service! Drinks and explanation of the choices offered. I loved Fuzzy's when I lived in Fort Worth and the three times I've been to this one have been a good experience. Good food, cool porch (which Amarillo is seriously lacking), and fast service. I work at the a Natural Grocers across the street and the day before Fuzzy's opening night the manager come to our store and invited us all, the whole store, to try Fuzzy's as a special guest for the training night. I was stoked! I love Fuzzy's Tacos in Lubbock so I couldn't wait! I got off early and walked over to restaurant. I followed to girls in who were "dressed to impress". Needless to say they were let in to the "VIP" night with ease, no questions asked, however when I approached behind them they told me, "we are sorry we're not opened to the public yet. I explained to the SAME MAN WHO JUST INVITED ME IN THE GROCERY STORE, "I work at Natural Grocers so I was coming to the special opening". The manager looked at me and shrugged and told me, "no." The kitchen staff seems to have problems distinguishing Charro beans from BLACK beans. It's ok if you wanna go grab a quick snack and beer. Don't bring your family and expect great service though. We had a fuzzys back in Stillwater, OK where I went to college. I was so surprised and stoked to see this was coming to Amarillo! The young man who took our order was SO very sweet. No complaints! The man we picked up our food from... Not as sweet. There was someone who walked by our table literally every few minutes to ask how we're doing... I see the point of this but it was honestly a little annoying! We just wanted to eat our dinner and talk for more than 5 minutes without another question. It seems a little insincere when places do that. I went far from my comfort zone and ordered something I don't usually. I'm a faithful shredded chicken/tempura fish Baja taco kind of girl. This time I ordered the tempura fish sandwich. I regret this. The sandwich had WAY too much bread and little on the inside. The diced potato fries on the side were a bit soggy yet somewhat burnt? The chips were amazing as usual and the guacamole was fantastic too! I'm just interested to see how this goes, having a Torchys here and all. I'm honestly conflicted between giving this place a 3 or 4. I wish I could give 3.5. My husband ordered the chicken salads d I ordered three soft tacos; shrimp, chicken and veggie. Of my three tacos- the veggie was the best. It was really good, full of flavor. The chicken on both my taco and his salad was very dry. It almost tasted as if it was from a can. It had very minimal flavor. Honestly, the food was just alright. Would I go back if I were ever in the area again? Probably not. It was just good enough. Which gives the place a 3. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything better than another place. The service was good. They lady at the register was informative. The food was made quickly. The guy cleared our table after we finished and asked how thing were. This gives them a 4. Unfortunately, I will give you guys a three because of the food. This place is DISGUSTING!!! I ordered a fajita burrito and there was hardly any meat but a lot of the nastiest looking fat and what looked like cartilage. When I took all the fat and cartilage out my burrito was empty. Couldn't even finish my dinner! Also, staff seemed annoyed when I asked them any question. Great tacos for a great price. Not only is the meat good (recommend pork or brisket and it comes in large amounts on the taco) the put feta chesse on these bad boys which I love! I thought the food was awful. I had the pork burrito with the "red" sauce. The portion size is enormous, but the inside of the burrito to was cold. The "red" sauce was kind of a wolf brand chili version that was poured over the top. Not good. We got queso and I thought it was nothing to write home about.
